The former owner was great 2019 installed new unit after hours! . Can't count on them if you have emergency. Calling number on unit went unanswered until morning. Then new owner said he must have phone issues. However the answering service said they don't have emergency service. .Used them three years for annual check up. Used them a few years ago to replace a furnace that had died. Had to have them come back multiple times to try and figure out why their brand new furnace kept shutting off (in winter of course). They never did figure it out. We had to have a different company come in and figure out what was wrong with it - turns out the unit Aireserv sold us was too overpowered for our house - and tell us what to do to make it work for us. Aireserv kept blaming the thermostat they installed but didn't seem to know how to operate, and replaced it with a different model they also didn't understand, none of which solved the problem. One of their workers also spent 20 minutes in our bathroom and emerged twitchy and manic, and barely able to speak coherently, which was a little concerning. The company they bought out, Hi Qual, had fantastic service and was very professional, and we used them many times. But Aireserve was a nightmare. read more

AIRE-Serv has been a wonderful company to work with throughout the whole process of replacing our air handler, condenser and hot water heater. The hot water tank is located in a space less than 4' high, air handler too. They went above and beyond finding us a 38-40 gal hot water tank! From the minute of the 1st call right down to 2 calls due to power outage they responded quickly, discover a faulty wire, replaced the whole wire and made us even happier customers. Aire Serv has been providing fall and spring checkups since Hi Qual. They recently cleaned ducts and installed air purifier system. Great salesman, wore booties, techs wore booties, not all repairmen do, came in with masks. They asked if needed to keep on. We asked about vaccination status, one wasn't so he kept his on at our request. Work was done efficiently. My husband requested that they leave the bed out from the wall so he could vacuum and they returned to the room to replace it after he was done. We were given a discount for paying by check instead of credit card. Good experience in all. read more

I have my furnace serviced every year by this company. They communicate, describe what needs to be done, and complete it efficiently. I have never had huge issues with my furnace, but when I have had maintenance concerns they were addressed in a reasonable fashion. I do recommend this HVAC company! read more

I had been a customer with the previous Hi-Qual owner, now Aire Serv, for 25 years. Last year I had my furnace serviced because it was not working properly. I paid the bill in full $327.24 and later found that my furnace still was not working properly. I discussed this with the owner who offered to refund my payment. Subsequently I had Aire Serv come back twice and fix the problem properly and paid these bills, $263.52 and $795.67 in full. I called today to have my A/C and furnace cleaned and was told that the computer says that I refused payment. This is not true, I paid every bill in full, but the person I spoke to only believed what was in the computer. They are willing to lose a long time customer over miscommunication instead of providing good customer service. I'll be using a different HVAC company. This used to be Hi-Qual heating and cooling, and they were a nice, honest, locally owned business. Now the business has since been taken over by Aire Serv, a national chain, and quality is no longer a priority. I don't know what's going on over there, but no one is working in the office/parts department. It's always closed. You have to guess as to when someone will be there. You can call them, and they'll tell you when they'll be at the office, but don't count on anyone actually showing up. Same old story, a solid, locally owned company gets bought up by BIG BUSINESS and everything goes to hades in a hand basket. Look elsewhere for your heating and cooling needs. ros: He responded quickly to my Center Director of the Childcare Center. He showed up gave an estimate for repairs at $500.00. He fixed the furnace. Cons: He charges us $600+ a ongoing contract for $200+ for a total over $800; but this would come down now by 15% because we would be under contract. When we received the bill it said (1) Hot ignition plate and (2) labor..we must assume that means two hours. Either way, we asked why the end bill was so high as a Hot plate ignition is about $30.00? We asked could you please let us know what other work was done since the bill was so high? And could he give us model number of what he installed, because maybe we were not reading his invoice correctly. He told my CD, that I should go look at the furnace and look it up my self and that he does not know. This is a day after he installed it. I Inquired to another reputable furnace guy and he said the job should cost you around $150 at most with a few hours of labor. So we ere being charged about 8 times the price. Again, why was it so high. remind you this is for a childcare center for an infant room. He said, if you don't like it, "I will pull the card out and I can go fix" it through an email, and his tone was very aggressive to the point my CD said she was sorta scared. Because this now seemed to be going in the wrong direction, I told him I would pay him $250.00 for it or that he would be able to pull the card out and we would have it replace as he suggested. He didn't like that! He then said he was going to discuss this with the building landlord and others in town... Now he was threatening us. I told him he would be able to come at the close of business so I could be there, now that my Director was scared. He then informed me that he was not going to do that but was going to bring me to small claims court. I welcomed him to do this, as we have a fully documented conversation. Furthermore, we had another furnace guy come in today, to let us know, that he never replaced the Hot Ignition plate, but the central card. Which is more about $100 more expensive, but still no where near what he charged. In summary - He miss estimated. He did not detail his estimate or his bill. When we asked what the parts where he basically said he did not know or was telling us to get lost. He said he would but it back as it was, when I took him up on his offer, he then said he was going to take us to court and threaten us. Again, this is a childcare center he is doing this to. These are just the facts and so disappointing that this owner/tech would do this and take advantage of my Center Director, as she did not understand the system and the fact that we needed heat in that room to move our infants back in. I guess some will try to take advantage of those when they can. It is a rather crappy feeling. read more
