Unfortunately after a month the insurance company refused to fix it and we had to pay out if Pocket. When we were ready we were told they had to do another quote and it was the same price. Unfortunately my husband had a medical emergency and a month after his surgery I had to have emergency surgery as well. So here we are 6 months later ready to have our work done and pay out of pocket. I was told we needed a new quote and I'm ok with this because I was told last time the price was high because of wood being so expensive and I know the price has gone down. To my surprise they increased the price by $500. Yes $500!! Inflation has companies being greedy and price gouging and I'm not here for it. I contacted the company and tell them I'm willing to pay an extra $300 but $500 is just too much of an up charge. The company replied thanks for your message have a nice day. Ok great way to lose a customer and any recommendations we might have. Beware when contacting this company. They will up charge and have 0 issues with it. Fortunately we found a company to do it for $700 cheaper. I would hate for anyone to be ripped off so please get more than one estimate!!!

Medlin "patched" it, leading us to believe that the "fix" would work but it only grew worse. More cracks began appearing after less than a year. (Medlin brought in materials to build a foundation before pouring concrete). The supposed "high quality" concrete is now chipping and developing holes. Other damage was done to the property. We called James and requested visits to address the problems, but he never came although he said he would (or would "try"). Project was done in October 2021. Last request for follow up was September 2022. Quality is heartbreaking and disappointing.

I should have looked better, they have been sued multiple times for the same thing. I gave him an opportunity to fix the issues, but he just had excuses and even went so far as to claim I have a "hidden stream" in that specific spot and that I was being cheap because I only gave him $1500 OVER the price he originally quoted when he came to look this first time.

Fast forward 18 months and as others have reported, the follow up on repairs are not bad --- they're horrendous. Try and picture if you can what it was like to wait for a cable guy in the 90s -- someone who gave you a 12 hour window and then didn't show up and didn't respond when you called them. Let's start with the fact that the gate literally fell off an 18-month old fence. In what world does that happen? Then, when I called, and emailed to have it repaired, the person picked up and was pleasant and THREE times on three different occasions told me not to worry, that someone would be by between (pick your 3-4 hour time window) to fix it. They never showed any of the times, dodged phone calls, made excuses, and ignored me. They even had the audacity to leave read receipts on their texts so I know they got them and then they continued to ignore me. Do yourself a favor, find another fence company -- this one is a complete disaster.

To be fair many times Lowes delivered damaged or incomplete materials, gave false start expectations, or mis-managed the install. Unfortunately JJA is often judged by this association.
