Everything we had was very fresh & it felt like we were enjoying a home cooked meal in Colombia. The service was absolutely amazing & the staff were so kind & welcoming. Will definitely be back.

I get my pedis next door and needed a little something before running my errands. I ordered a cafe con leche and a chicken empanada. The empanada is not like I am used to in that it wasn't made with a wrapper. The exterior is of masa like an areypa. Delicious! Also, the spicy vinegar sauce was amazing! They are also smaller than the ones I am used to and make at home so next time I will be getting two! I will be coming back!

Great food great service. The owner is a great resource very serviceable. Prices are amazing I feel like the prices are so low they may be introductory so go and get it this is a great time to try a lot of the food. He has been open for about a year and a half.

Final Review of 2024 goes to this 2 month old newbie that is Colombian and Peruvian. This is a must stop when you are by Clearwater and Palm Harbor, Dunedin area. If you love Colombian, Peruvian, Latin food, come here. You will have awesome service, a Latin bakery, and coffee, and great food! We ordered a Cazuela de Mariscos for me bc I do love my seafood stew, and a chicken marsala(not Italian style but great rendition) for my hubby. Service all the way through is great and the chef is very cool too. We brought home some Pan de Bono. We are picky with our Colombian cheese buns and these are baked just the way we like. This is a must for your next taste of Latin food! You will not be disappointed! Happy New Year! Feliz Ano Nuevo!

Thus small, cozy Colombian restaurant is an excellent addition to the N. Pinellas area. I had the beef sancocho which was superb. It was very flavorful with large portions of tender beef. It comes w avocado and white rice. It is a large portion despite it being a lunch meal. The pan de bono was very good as well and the chef/ Owner gives personal attention to all the patrons.

Update. December 13th. You can't go wrong with Aroma y Sabor's home-made, hearty beef stew, known in South America as Sancocho "San-Ko-Cho", it's absolutely perfect, and one of the best in Tampa Bay. Having been to almost every Colombian restaurant in the region, Aroma y Sabor has the best version by far. In my photos, for example, the portion of beef is cut ample, as opposed to paultry portions elsewhere. Take a look at the pictures. Yucca, platanos, corn, carrots, and potatoes are included in the beef stew. Since I prefer my Sancocho without small chunks of corn on the cob and potatoes, the chefs have always accommodated me. The essence of the broth's wonderful flavor is enhanced by the obligatory cilantro, extra as usual for me. You'll have to be patient as this beef stew is homemade with love. Call ahead to make sure the Sancocho special will be served as it may not be on the daily menu. Take a look at the other pictures to see a variety of traditional Colombian dishes. Carnivores will enjoy this restaurant.

A Delicious Discovery: Authentic Mexican Gem in New Port Richey…read more This weekend, my husband Eriq and I headed up to our favorite Thai spot, only to find it closed. Hangry levels were rising fast, so we pivoted to a nearby Mexican grocery store and market that had been on my radar from glowing reviews. It delivered big time on authentic flavors, generous portions, and warm hospitality. Tucked at the back of the well-stocked Latin grocery store is a casual dining area where you order fresh-made Mexican classics. The menu offers plenty of traditional options and cool protein choices. One of the cooks kindly brought me a little sample cup of their pozole when I asked about it -- tender, falling-off-the-bone pork in a rich broth. Absolute perfection. (She also mentioned their menudo, but I politely passed on that one!) We decided on the tostadas, and wow -- for $13.99 you get three super-crispy house-made tortillas piled high with toppings. I went with two chicken and one steak (which was tender). The chicken was incredibly flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth tender from slow-cooking in spices. Fresh shredded lettuce, cilantro, crumbled cheese, a drizzle of crema, and slices of avocado on top made every bite fantastic. Eriq loved the al pastor version he tried and powered through all three. He also ordered a carnitas taco (which looked excellent, but he ran out of room!). The tortillas held up beautifully under all the toppings -- no crumbling disasters, which is rare and impressive. They brought out two house hot sauces (a smoky red and a vibrant green salsa) that were outstanding, plus ice-cold Mexican sodas made with real cane sugar. Service was friendly and attentive, with staff bringing food out promptly. The whole place felt genuinely authentic (we might have been the only non-Latino folks there, always a great sign), the grocery section was small but well stocked with staples, fresh meats and produce. If you're in the Holiday/NPR area and craving real-deal Mexican food at very reasonable prices, definitely stop in. We'll be back soon -- those tostadas are going to haunt my dreams in the best way possible.

Great food at a fair price. Friendly staff. I will return to try more of the menu. Local family runread more
