It came ready to bake, so when we took it out of the oven, it was hot, the crust was flaky and crispy, and the strawberry rhubarb filling was heaven! Especially when served up with some local homemade French vanilla ice cream. I wish I had taken a picture, but we were too busy devouring it! This pie is literally summer on a plate. You step up and order from the window. There are a few tables outside but you don't go inside. Friendly and fast service. The coffee is delightful. I got an iced coffee sweetened with maple syrup which went very well with our pastry. First off we got the coconut corn bread topped with cream and black berries. It was surprising. So good.
