I am sad that it took me this long to find a quality, delicious croissant in Southern Maine. This is not your average bakery. This is the kind of spot where you take one bite and immediately go quiet because your brain is trying to process how something can taste that good. Each piece is a little work of art! They had these tiny chocolate creme tarts/pie with mango coulis and wow. An absolute dream. Everything we tried was next-level--light, flavorful, not overly sweet, and clearly made with serious skill. The pastries have that authentic European feel where quality and technique come first, not just sugar overload. I am proud to say that I indulged in their croissants and chocolate creme TWICE this weekend. Totally worth it. Biddeford is lucky to have this place. Go visit, your mouth will thank me. Pro tip: go early... because once people figure this out, good luck getting your hands on anything by noon.

We came across Auntie's House in our search and knew that we needed to try their whoopie pie balls. Upon entering the bakery, we were enveloped in the scent of warm chocolate cake. It made my stomach rumble immediately! We picked out 6 whoopie pie balls to share. While I wouldn't exactly call them "whoopie pies" they were very good. We tried a few different flavors and all of them were tasty. We also tried the chocolate covered cookie dough bites ! Today was finally that day we did. Street parking nearby was easy and while not busy it had friendly patrons who were hitting it off and making friends, showing it to be a friendly inviting space. The staff greeted us right away with a smile. We came down for the Mocha Madness event they were doing. My wife loves mocha so it was a no brainer. For this week they have 8 different mocha drinks available and each is going head to head bracket style and winners are based on sales. Great concept and many great flavors to pick from. My wife ended up picking the Rose Mocha and I got the Hazelnut Mocha. If we were more local we would have made a plan to try them all and actually determine our favorite of the 8. We also grabbed a bag of coffee beans to enjoy at home! They also had a local candle maker selling his candles so a great example of local supporting local. If you find yourself in the Biddeford/Saco area I highly recommend checking out Time & Tide. Great vibes with high quality coffee.
