Some girls there can do designs, tips and acrylic, while others can do basic pedicures and manicures. The place is clean. They use plastic lining for the pedicure tub. They have several different options to choose from for your pedicure needs. Hot stones and wax are included in all of them. Powder, gel, and refúgiale polish is used here. Staff is nice. I have reviewed this salon twice before about 3 years ago... their quality is unchanged. The technicians are so kind and meticulous about their work. This is a powder gel, I am very satisfied with the shape and color... and Erica didn't use the buffer machine (which makes my nails weak) she did it all by hand! I am very impressed. Thanks Erica!!!! I recommend making an appointment because they are following covid precautions (YAY) which limits the amount of people they can service at a time. Aroma is practicing social distancing, taking temperatures, enforcing mask wearing, and requiring all customers to wash their hands upon entry. Overall would recommend to anyone. I'll be back! I've been coming here on and off for yearsss! Theor pedicures are amazing and I still.come back for them. Maybel does such a wonderful job. I stopped going here for my acrylics because they never turned out.how I liked them. However, I came here for a new set since it's been years since I got acrylics here and I was hoping I would like them. NOPE. ANNIE is terrible. She didn't cover my whole nail with the acrylic and kept leaving gaps in the acrylic. I had to guide her and she still left gaps. I told her water is going to get under the acrylic and it's going to pop off in a week. She told me to stop that she knows what she's doing and how she's been doing nails for "years". I told her I have my Cosmo license and I've had acrylics since 2009. She laughs in my face brushes off my lumpy nails and tried to paint them. I stopped her showed Enoch my nails explained what was going on. Agreed with me 100% and sent me over to Shirley. She tried to fix what she could shape wise but couldn't do much since the shop was already closing. All in all I'm glad they tried to do right by me but for the love of your nails. I am so pleased with my experience here, I couldn't wait to write my review! I went in today for a no chip gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I wasn't sure what to expect because the reviews were mixed- but it's super close to my house, so I wanted to give them a chance. I'm so glad I did! Joy worked on my nails and did an awesome job. She took her time carefully taking off my previous gel manicure and was very precise. While she worked on my hands, Sandra came by and gave me a shoulder and neck massage. So. Good. After a long day of work, being pampered like this made me feel like a queen. I think the first 5 minutes are free, and then you can pay $10 for 10 minutes more. I'm not totally certain because there was a bit of a language barrier, but I didn't want her to stop so I just said yes to $10 more. Sandra was careful to clip up my hair and pull back my shirt as much as she could. She was awesome. Once my gel manicure was done, the next technician who would do my feet gave me a nice hand massage before whisking me away to the pedicure chair. Side note: Joy did amazing with my nails! I love them. While in the pedicure chair, you get another massage from the chair itself. I wish I caught the girl's name who did my pedicure- because she did an awesome job as well. My feet have never felt so smooth! Not even exaggerating. She did some kind of magic. And of course the paint job itself is perfect. Oh- but did I mention that they massage your feet with hot stones?! Yeah. Seriously- I was in massage heaven. While drying your nails- no joke- I think you get another massage. Sandra came over again and in my excitement to give her her tip, I think I turned down another 5 minutes. D'oh! In any event, the service was spectacular and I can't wait to be a repeat customer! Tip: If you are going to do a gel mani and regular pedi, ask to see the gel colors before you pick the color for your feet. My Mom has been going here for years as a client of Elizabeth's, so I figured I'd give it a try. I have acrylic tips and usually get fills every two weeks and pedicures every 4 weeks. I am always able to make an appointment over the phone very easily and I have always been able to get in the chair on time when I have had an appointment. Elizabeth is very talented and has done a great job on my nails every time. I come in with pictures of unique ideas and she's been able to deliver a great finished product. Their payment service is also super easy and you are allowed to tip on card which is great when I forget cash. You also accumulate points with every dollar you spend and when you hit 100 points, you get $5 off your next service. They made a loyal customer out of me! read more

I came here before my trip to Puerto Rico with my daughters based on a recommendation. I was booked for (3) 7:00 pm mani/pedi appointments, with the owner telling me "no problem" with them closing at 7:30. Two of us were given our manicures at the same time as our pedicures, twisted painfully around in our chairs, with our hands propped up on dirty pillows. The whole time we were there the staff was cleaning and mopping up...when they said they closed at 7:30, they meant it. They wanted to be out of there. I almost slipped on the wet floor walking over to the drying table! While waiting for our nails to dry, we got a mini back massage- with oil. The oil was dripped all over our shirts and got in our hair. This place is overpriced and under-whelming in their manicures and pedicures. By the time I got to PR, I had to stop in a Walgreens to pick up nail polish to redo my toes. There are MUCH better (and cheaper) places in West Hempstead to get your nails done besides this place. read more

How this place has gone downhill! This place use to be so nice and clean which was always crowded. Now its empty and reducing the prices to get people. I stopped getting my nails done here because they were pricy and didn't do any bedazzling or pretty designs which now I find Sandy Nails in Franklin Square the best. I still decided to get my eyebrows waxed here because they always did a good job however, they made my eyebrows not look the same and didn't give me a refund or no compensation for it. Ive come here many times, mostly for eyebrows, but i will no longer be going back. While getting my eyebrows done, i opened my eyes towards the end thinking she was finished and i was greeted by a cell phone camera in my face. One of the workers was videoing the process, and i would have allowed that had they asked. When the worker realized i opened my eyes she had told her coworker and her coworker had said to her "shh, its fine" but its not fine. I found it very shady that they didnt ask first because while the worker may just use that video for learning purposes, who knows if she starts sending it around and i did not consent to that. It's a shame because i did like this place. Hopefully managerial staff reads this and informs their workers about this because the next person may not handle it as calmly as i did. read more

I would love to give this place 3 stars but for good reasons, I'm giving it 4.... First off, i have my set 2 girls that i love here... which is why i come back. They both know exactly how i like my nails and i never have to tell them how to cut/file etc. The pedicure is always top-notch including a really good massage and hot stones (which would generally be an additional cost elsewhere). The second reason this place gets 4 starts is because the massage lady, give a free massage while you dry - she always gives me well over 10 mins, and does an amazing job. Again, this would be an additional cost elsewhere. I would give this place 3 stars for the following reasons: -interior does need some updating, decor and carpeting etc but the pedicure chairs are always clean and tools are always sanitary. -the 2 girls i like to go to only work one/two days a week which make it a tad inconvenient at times... but this is not necessarily the salons fault. -The male manager can be pushy at times and lingers over clients a bit - i do not see him every time i go... so again not a big deal. I've been a long time customer and was beyond frustrated by my experience today. I specifically made an appointment since I was on a schedule and many times when I've walked in I've been told to wait a few minutes and those few minutes turn to 20-30. 15 minutes after my appointment time no one had started on me. I asked the gentleman who appeared to be running the store, what was going and he kept telling me "soon". I watched as 3 others were started prior to me (only 1 of which had an appointment). My manicure wasn't started until almost 35 minutes after my appointment time!!!!! I had complained by saying they shouldn't book an appointment that they couldn't accommodate and they certainly should not take walk ins if they are scheduling appointments and won't be done in time and no-one seemed to care. After my manicure and pedicure I asked the manager if he'd be doing anything to make up for this (which he should have proactively offered) and he said he didn't have the authority. The customer service is horrific-he should have at least attempted to let me leave happy. I even shared that I would NOT be coming back and he didn't seem to care if my business or that of my family's is lost and that is not the type of establishment I want to support. I want to support a small business that cares about their customers and is respectful of their customers and their time. read more

They push fancy services (like gel color and decorative nail art) and the manicures do not last (gel is $25 ... Lasts maybe 10 days). I agree about the service - not good and they expect large tips. This is my go-to place. They have a $24 mani/pedi special Monday- Friday, and they also provide you with a card that if you come 10 times, you get your 11th manicure free.
