One of my girls recommended this nail salon to me and I seriously can not stop thanking her. Most of the nail salons I used to go to increased their prices and I am so happy that this place instead has much more reasonable prices. As far as aesthetic, It's simple and cute, nothing extravagant, but they definitely know how to work on nails. The staff are very friendly and super kind. Some of you know the tone (unwelcoming eyes, tone of voice, lack readiness to assist or answer questions). I am well aware of my surroundings and how others are treated in comparison to myself. I have had 2 poor experiences with this nail salon! Once I had a pedicure and manicure appointment and they switched nail techs once I got to the manicure & then the female tech left to take a call and went outside the business to take it and was gone over 15 minute. I paid for the pedicure and walked out. I know the call was personal and not business related! Then yesterday I called to make an appointment at 12:30 for an upgraded spa pedicure and a dip manicure. Once I arrived today they took 4 walk-in's before me and I reminded them I had an appointment and waited over 10 minutes then left...I will never return there!!! read more

Went here for the first time today and was extremely disappointed. Made an appointment and waited for about 25 min. Was swamped in there they shouldn't have taken as many people. When getting my nails done the girl didn't even replace the paper towel there were nail clippings from people before me!! It felt very unsanitary. I went with my cousins today to get our nails done all together here and was a little hesitant because they wear gel but I have acrylic nails. If you are looking for a reasonably prices gel mani this is a great option- $20 with little massage at the end and a lot of cute colors to pick from. However, this is not the place to come for acrylics or at least longer ones like I like. I asked for a simple fill and it was $40. I have gotten full sets for less than that! I would understand the price if I felt the quality matched but it felt rushed and I've gotten much better shaping and quality for less. I also wanted a coffin shape but really didn't receive that and ended up shaping them a lot at home. Excellent customer service & quick to get you out the door if necessary! I have been coming to this business for 4 years since 2011. I never had any complaint about the customer service or the quality of work. The prices are moderate and for students the prices for mani & pedi is $15. I trust the nail technicians that work here with my mani & pedi. This place is very clean and efficient. I once walked in on a busy evening in need of a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Within an hour I was out the door with beautiful nails. The ladies was able to start my gel manicure while I got my pedicure. Lastly, they always have new colors for the season that I love! I really love the convenience and prices of 2 Qs Nails. I get a gel manicure for 20$ on a weekday! They have excellent selection and are good at what they do. THE ONLY THING I didn't like during my service was that they did not soak my nails prior to trimming my cuticles so it hurt a lot and when I asked them to soak they said they don't do that for gel manicures which is weird because other salons do. Anyways, I will come back. Deals are great and results last. read more

I would give this place ZERO stars if Yelp would let me. I live around the corner from this salon and when we first moved to the area this was the first salon I tried. At the time, there was one specific nail tech I used exclusively, she was amazing, but Lisa the owner has always been extremely rude but I tolerated her because I loved my tech, and their prices were good. When my girl left, I tried to go back a few times because it was convenient but when my gel mani chipped TWO days after I got it and Lisa wanted to charge me to fix it AND her idea of fixing it was to file over the chip and fill in with a little gel as opposed to removing and repainting the entire nail, especially since she wanted to charge me. I was done, never again. Stay away. PS. They give THE worst pedicures ever. read more

*DO NOT COME HERE* Just save yourself the time, money and frustration by not coming here! Not only did my gel manicure turn out ugly (and very rushed) but Lisa, the owner, is extremely rude and not approachable at all. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm about to get yelled and rushed just for taking an extra second to pick the color I like. My friend and I are ready to pay... We each tip $3. I only tipped out of respect because I was not happy with my nails. Lisa then turns to us and flat out says "You have to tip $4"-- her exact words! (WHAT?!) Tipping is optional and not mandatory. You are required to tip $4? Since when? According to Lisa, her prices are inexpensive and the tips have to compensate her workers, otherwise they'll go work for a different salon. She should either raise her prices or stop paying her employees under the table. Outcome: HORRIBLE AND DISRESPECTFUL! DON'T COME HERE. read more

This place is really amazing! I came here on a whim since it's right down the street from my house and I was very pleasantly surprised with the service and prices. I got the student discount of a gel manicure and a regular pedicure for $30 and after a week and a half both are still going strong. I really like this place! I get pedicures and eyebrows done here regularly. I got an acrylic manicure done here once and my nails fell off quickly so I go to another place for my manicures which im fine with....they cant be perfect at everything! My favorite thing about this place is how clean it is. Ive been in nightmare-ish salons before where the entire place looked grimy and dirty (centrals nails on hempstead tpke). That is not the case here. The salon is bright, has a nice ambiance, and is always clean. The workers are friendly and even have a rewards program going where you can get a free manicure? (or maybe pedicure) for every 10 times you come in. There is minimal parking for the salon but plenty of parking on the street. All in all a pretty decent place :) read more

OMG! The worst nail salon I've ever encountered..they didn't even properly clean the pedicure sink, one person got off and they "squirted" some water and rinsed it off..Yuk! I can imagine the germs growing in the jets of that sink! Plus a customer came in to get her nails she had done the day before "fixed" and the "boss" of the place who sits right in front of the register, got very angry and clearly embarrassed the woman, saying she did it to herself ruining the nail. Wow, so what? Do the right thing and be courteous about it too...customer service is awful, they all look angry, and I would not step a foot in that salon. P.S. There are about 4 parking spaces and you get towed if you park next door by the cleaner! With so many wonderful salons in the area, why go to these people who don't appreciate your business, keep a dirty facility and risk you getting towed....If there was a "minus one star" review, I would certainly give it.. Horrible!! Avoid!! They make you wait for an hour even though you have an appointment. Also, after waiting for an hour they do your pedicure and then make you wait again to do your manicure. They rush and Lisa, who seems to be the owner, is rude, nasty and has an attitude. Horrible customer service and their work is sloppy and rushed. I have been a loyal customer here for 3 years. never had an issue until recently when they misplaced my box (which was fine) and threw out my cards which entitled me to three eyebrow waxing and or pedicures( not okay ) - that means i had over 30 visits to the salon. after trying every nail technician who works here i made the decision to only see one as i felt the most comfortable with her this really got on the nerves of the owner for whatever reason. Lisa, the owner is incredibly rude, very short and nasty with people and never greets her customers politely. If you don't believe me, give them a call before you think of going there she's the only one who answers i guarantee she won't say hi when she answers or bye before hanging up. I will not be returning to have any services done here again. Horrible! If you close at 7:30, that is when you stop taking in customers and start cleaning up. I got there at 640 and they rushed me. The girl doing my toes was going so fast. I had no time to ask her to do the pedicure I wanted. She was cutting my cuticles so fast and pulling so hard that it made me scared. I had my book to read and relax. Then they had a girl come do my nails while I was having my toes done. It was one big rush. They were sweeping and cleaning and spraying, turning off lights. You can't do that. It is so disrespectful. I felt rushed and disrespected. You're running a spa not an assembly line. I told them it's the worst experience I ever had. She tried to talk to me but I really didn't care what she had to say. I don't want my money back, I don't want to hear excuses and I don't ever want to go there again so there wasn't much to talk about. You close AFTER your customers leave. read more
