He talked me through the process and the quote and responded quickly to my email and texts. The actual laying of the flooring took under 5 hours but had to be split over two mornings because when the old carpet came up, the floor was uneven. To date, a year later we never got that estimate. This time there was no home remodel. It was floors. So the owner was incorrect and deflecting. We had a flood in our house and our "remodel" was new floors and some patch work on the drywall from the flood. Two small areas of drywall. No other remodel. For flooring they said could have been done within a week or two. But 8 weeks later with our floors torn up we could not get an estimate to save our lives. If someone is calling you once a week for 2 months about floors and you can't get back to them, that is just bad business pure and simple. Hope the family gets it together for future customers. The install went very smoothly and only took an hour or so. My only downside was that it took about a week longer than we were told to have it completed, and I had to reach out via email a few times to get updates instead of being updated. But Joe listened to my feedback and told me how the process works waiting for materials. I also sent them photos of some marks on the counter I thought I saw, and they sent someone out to clean and buff it and make it like new again. The job was replacing three bedrooms with laminate, however after they pulled up the carpeting, they found two spots that needed to be leveled. This was done quickly and didn't end up adding any time to the job, they actually finished before they said they would be done, even with the extra work that needed to be done to level and grind down the concrete!
