We shopped local based on the best reviews we saw in Yelp/Google/FB/etc. Narrowed it down to about 5 vendors. The product pricing across the board was fairly similar, but the installation costs were what varied quite a bit. Due to supply chain constraints, finding a product that we loved that wouldn't show up 6 months from now was difficult, and where we could find product that was in stock, either the price or the install wasn't a match. With European Design, we got it all and within the budget we intended. Not everything in life goes your way, and most of the time it's how you react to it that defines your experience. The same could be said here. We set the schedule... ended up getting the product and availability early! The install was awesome - the gentlemen who did the install were so gracious and sweet to my 3 year old daughter who was curious as to what they were doing, along with our French Bulldog who was equally as interested. The finished job was exactly as expected within the scope. Getting to things not going our way, the transition pieces had a longer delay than we had hoped but as soon as they arrived, they were out to install. Here's where how we react defines an experience.. We have 1 transition piece that's a little finicky, not wanting to stay planted. Even after coming out to re-install, the little bugger just doesn't want to stay put. Rather than make excuses, EDF re-asserted their commitment to make sure it's right and replace the transition till it's perfect like the rest. I'm writing this just before they come back out to address it - now a lot of people would probably wait till everything is sorted to write a review but I'm so confident in these guys, I've got no problem putting it down now. So hopefully this review is helpful for you as you make decisions. We get compliments all the time on our LVP (even from other contractors and builders!!!!). Our order was written up quickly and we were given an installation date. We were called the day before to confirm installation and an appropriate time. Luis showed up alone to install the carpet which was for a 15' x 17' room. We learned that Luis had been installing for 35 years (since he was a teenager). Luis was both polite and efficient. I cut a rug pad to exact dimensions and asked Binding Pros to cut down a rug to match it, orienting the rug a specific way so the nap would lay the way I wanted bc I'm picky and obnoxious like that. I was really nervous about how the rug would turn out because the flooring in the circular area doesn't match the surrounding floor (don't ask me what the builder was thinking) and I wanted it completely covered. That would be tricky because two sides of the circle are bounded by walls and baseboard, and the other sides are open to adjoining rooms, which means the circumference of the circle is slightly wider on those sides. The rug could have been a real disaster. It was not. Not only was the rug perfect, but it was finished in under 24 hours! I had intended to have the edge serged, but was advised I might want to consider a bound edge because it would be less visible. It was also less than half the proce. The rug looks fantastic in the space, and I'm thrilled with the workmanship. Can't wait to recommend Binding Pros to everyone I know
