I'm a 47 year old board certified residency trained ER physician. I've always referred my pain patients to orthopedists or pain management, or rheumatologists. To be honest, I didn't think too much of chiropractors. How is it possible to treat disease without prescriptions and/or surgery? For the past 5 years, I've had severe worsening neck arthritis, bulging discs and foramina stenosis from a near fatal MVC in 1996. I had an intolerable radiculopathy of my right arm. At times, my arm pain was so bad, I just wanted someone to cut it off. My right hand always felt like it was in an electric socket. I couldn't suture patients nor perform arthrocenteses nor spinal taps. My neurologist and I were discussing neurosurgery. I was desperate. I'd driven by Arora Chiropractic near my house in Frisco for years. I inquired. 20 sessions was covered by United Healthcare PPO so I made my first appointment. Dr Arora took X-rays, reviewed my recent MRI, spent an hour getting to know me and my medical history. He smiled confidently ...."this will be easy. You'll feel improvement within 8 sessions" I followed a biweekly plan that included 2 hours of muscle stimulation, deep tissue massage, spinal traction. Most importantly, I had physical therapy to strengthen target muscles that supported the spine in alignment after each chiropractic adjustment. (I thought my pricey personal trainer had taught me everything.... But Dr Arora's staff taught me entirely unique set of exercises and stretching techniques.) Well, 3 weeks later, I'm elated now that my right arm pain no longer wake me up at night. My hand numbness is more than 70% better. There are even days when I symptom-free. I've gone back to work because I can feel my right hand again. Realistically, I may still require spine surgery someday, but how wonderful if I can push it off for 10, 20, or 30 years.... For now, my quality of life has vastly improved. This cynical ER physician is now a believer. I don't know if all chiropractors are this effective. I think I just got lucky to have found the right one. I will be referring all my back, joint, muscle pain etc. patients to Dr Arora from henceforth. I think anyone tired of taking pill after pill.... Dr. Arora is AMAZING!!! So two years ago I came in with sciatic pain and he fixed me in one visit. I bought the year package which made each visit about $35. I did not use all of them and stopped going due to living very far away and no longer having a job in the area. This year I got a job close by and was having super bad headaches from neck pain so I went back in. When they did the X-rays the first time my neck was curved the wrong way, with my top vertebrae kinked the opposite direction pinching nerves and making it seem like I was looking straight when the rest of my neck was actually looking down, and had felt to me like it got worse since I am on a computer all day. I made an appointment, and didn't even think that they would let me use the unused visits from over a year ago BUT THEY DID! One visit later my headaches stopped, and after two visits and I can literally feel the difference in my spine on my neck when I run my hand over it. (i could feel a large bump in my spine under my neck where it was protruding that is now gone) I love Dr. Arora and will not trust my spine with any other chiropractor. **I also wanted to note everything they do. After your initial visit where they take X-rays and do muscle tests you are in and out in like 20 min. 1. You lay down on this bed thingy that rolls up and down your back to relax you and loosen you up 2. Then you lay on another bed where they use this electric stimulus machine that targets specific areas you need (like my neck) and contracts and relaxes the muscles 3. Then they take this vibrating back massager thingy and rub it up and down your back (one of my favorite parts) to really relax you. 4. Then the magician comes in and works his magic. Crack, crack, crack. 5. If you need extra therapy (like when I had sciatic I would stretch my lower back in this wobbly chair) Dr. Arora will work with you a little longer. Then you walk away all wobbly and relaxed. They have this super massage chair in the waiting room and bottles of water if you need it. It all feels very VIP. I HIGHLY recommend them. read more

I've been receiving chiropractic care on and off for over 15 years, and it's safe to say that Dr. Arora and his amazing staff have changed the game for me. I have never felt more advocated for, cared for and looked after than I have experienced AFC. I first came in when I got t-boned in a car accident, and after finding out that my injuries weren't the scope of my PCP, I was referred to Dr. A. Since then, nothing has been coincidental. I have been fortunate enough to go straight to the source (Dr. A) and have received the absolute best care since then. Not only has he referred me to a network of people that have proved to be "in my corner", but he has taken his own time to sit down with me and explain everything from x-rays to my irrational "what-if" questions. The type of care he provides to his patients is none like I have ever seen. I suffered a traumatic brain injury August 2017. I have suffered that trauma every day of my life since that time to present and i continue to suffer every day that i wake up with many challenges that are inherent to traumatic brain injuries. Having prefaced with that, i want very much to recognize Dr. Arora and his staff for the outstanding improvements that they have helped me to achieve and to maintain through their efforts to bring wellness to all the areas of my body that have been affected by the trauma and suffering that i have experienced. My journey with my Chiropractic care that i have been receiving from Dr. Arora on my head, neck and back began a little over a year ago from this day, and it is my contention that there is no better chiropractic offering of genuine care than what Dr. Arora can provide after no less than one full year of weekly sessions under his professional knowledge and sincerity for my well being. When i first came into Dr. Arora's care i could barely speak fluent enough to have any meaningful conversation as a result of the neurogenic stutter i acquired from my brain injury. He was patient with me every every step of the way from the moment he first sat down to consult me on the kind of treatment i would need and how he felt it should be approached even to now as he asks me in every session i have with him for any concerns i might have. He is attentive through every minute of my visit, he has always and continues to exercise concern for my safety and my comfort in every session i have with him. He helps to build my hope, he helps to keep my thoughts from falling short of anything that wasn't positive, Dr. Arora's efforts improve my well being and he and his staff continue to do so. I have watched Dr. Arora and his staff perform when there were just a few patients and i have watched them perform when the room was packed and they were absolutely relentless in the performance of their efforts to bring wellness to each and every one of them to help each and every one of them, myself included to improve quality of life. As of today i am still suffering with chronic headaches and neck issues involving nerves, muscle and soft tissue along with suffering the trauma of constant ringing in my head as a result of the TBI. Also as a result of the TBI, I currently suffer balance and dizziness issues, I suffer right sided weakness from what was described to me by the therapist as Paresis. I suffer hyper-sensativities to light and noise and touch and taste and smell, i suffer short term memory issues, along with many other things that are daily challenges for me all as a result of my TBI. Dr. Arora had help to make some of these things i suffer more tolerable and again, he and his staff continue to do so. This group of professionals have given me hope and they strengthen my spirit to keep moving forward in a positive way. They have something really special that has helped me to move my life into a place that brings me a little bit of joy even through my suffering and my challenges, they bring me relief from my suffering in ways that i have yet to be able to find anywhere else since August 2017. I began seeing Dr. A 2.5 years ago when I started working in Frisco, Tx. I had seen several other chiropractors before. They worked for a short time, but I never really saw progress-until I went to Dr. A. He was amazing. I could feel a difference within 3 visits!! I used to have a migraine every 2 wks. Now I might have one every 5 months(due to stress). Also in leading an active lifestyle I hurt me lower back along the way. He fixed that too.
