I have been going here since October 2018. When I walked in the door I could barely stand as I had pinched sciatic nerve from a bulging disc. This all happened just waking up one morning. Bryan and Jancy are exceptional people. This alone keeps me coming back. The huge bonus is that they are both also highly competent. Bryan is not interested in a quick fix to get you out the door. He's a real healthcare provider in an era when the real ones are few and far between. When I first visited Dr. Stanton, I had severe acute lower back pain and constant stiffness and pain in my neck. I could barely move. Years of injuries left untreated had gotten me to a point where I could no longer live the way I wanted. I couldn't play sports, couldn't consistently work out at the gym, and it was even getting in the way of lifting up my son. I'm in my late 30s and a new father, and it was extremely important for me to get my active life back. After another incident of throwing out my back, a coworker of mine recommended Dr. Stanton at Twisted Spine. That was over a year ago now and I am completely out of pain! And I have mobility in my neck I haven't had in probably 15 years. The pain started going away within a handful of treatments, and by about 3 months in it was gone. This was quite literally the best health-related decision I have made. As a new patient, Dr. Stanton won't simply adjust you and send you on your way. He is very thorough. He'll take an X-ray to see exactly where the problem areas are and put together a customized treatment plan that will get you out of your pain and moving again. What is there NOT to say about how fantastic Dr. Bryan Stanton and his wife Jancy are? I had been dealing with some pretty severe lower back pain (years of basketball and graphic design) and decided to give chiropractic a shot. I admit, I was skeptical initially, but after catching a $38 new customer consultation special at Twisted, I figured I'd give it a go. Plus it's near my place so...what the heck, right?! I was greeted with a friendly smile and cheery disposition from Jancy (Dr. B's awesome wife and office manager). She immediately took my info and asked if I wanted to "dip my hands", also offering my a water, coffee, cookies - and I asked, "wait, I thought this was a chiro's office. Does it double as a spa?" Let me tell you, it's so nice, relaxing, and serene, you'd think that was the case. She's a sweetheart with great convo that immediately disarmed me. I then met with Dr. B in a front office where he gave me a very knowledgeable break down of the spine, how it relates to muscles in the back and asked what type of pain I was having. He was beyond cool, knew his stuff and was confident he could get me back to normal. He proceeded to take some digital images (x-rays) of my lower back and immediately showed me my problem areas on his laptop - followed by a mini therapy session of traction (this table is beyond amazing), e-stem, and cold/hot therapy. The consultation was great and I felt like a full 20 sessions were in order. He presented me with very reasonable payment plans and let me select what worked best with my insurance. I'm halfway through my sessions and I have to tell you, I feel like a NEW MAN! The decompression table and continuing therapies mentioned above, blended with Dr. B's adjustments have been a Godsend. Lest I forget the amazing bedside manner, all-around cool nature, and friendliness of both he and Jancy. This place is beyond awesome. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Between her and Dr. Bryan, you will have a smile on your face right away and throughout your visit. At my first visit, I could tell the difference in the way Dr. Stanton runs his practice in comparison to others. He is extremely thorough in diagnosing the issues and does not rely on guess work. Which, in my opinion is huge. On top of that, he is the kind of Dr. who will shoot you straight. Him and his wife are 2 of the most genuine people I have ever met and I truly believe they have their patients best interests at heart. Which is not always an easy thing to come by in the medical world. Not only does Dr. Stanton provide excellent in clinic care, but he also continues to make recommendations on things I can do in my daily life to help relieve my neck and back pain. Something you would think most Chiropractors do, however, in my experience this is rare. They also provide pre adjustment therapy and decompression instead of relying on adjustments alone which ades in recovery and leaves you feeling relaxed. They even offer wax hand dips as a nice relaxing added touch! I went to four other Chiropractors for my NECK and two surgeons who did MRIs. I was in my 11th year and the pain was so severe I didn't want to live this way any more. I also didn't want to be almost completely fuse with the exception of 1&2. The two surgeons said that my only option was to fuse 2,3,4,5,6 & 7. Also needed to clean out 3 holes on one side and 2 on the other. Me and Dr Bryan Stanton came up with a plan that we agreed to and I have been virtually pain free for two years now. He gave me my life back with out surgery. I was told by both surgeons that I would never be able to lift more than 20 lbs over my head. I can lift whatever I want and can now do anything as if I was 18 again. It was a lot of dedication on my part but if you are willing to do the work and put in the effort he knows how to fix a neck. I'm guessing 90 percent of fusions are not necessary. I have seen 4 people use this method and all are cured. Like I said it takes effort and it's was a three month program for me with homework and follow up. You have to push yourself and it can be a little uncomfortable getting there but well worth it. More pounds and the more times you can go in the quicker and better the results. I finally bought my own equipment for a home which you can get on the Internet and I did my own maintenance as needed. I haven't done anything in well over a year but I probably should once every couple weeks. read more

I was about to have two disc replacements (in my twenties!!!). I'd seen every chiropractor in DFW and almost every surgeon. What a pity I spent thousands of dollars on people that didn't care about me. Some medical professionals are in it for the money but Bryan Stanton is not. I did end up needing surgery but he had a discussion with me implying he wanted what was best for me after ensuring he has done everything he could do for my spine. She answered all of my questions and you could tell that she was being totally open and honest. After my initial consultation, I signed up for their care plan without a doubt in my mind that I had chosen the best chiropractor to take care of me. Bryan is a fabulous chiropractor who is extremely articulate, patient, and dedicated to providing the best care to all of his patients. First of all, I just want to say that I don't like social media. I have never even had a reason to have a yelp account before now. I whipped out my laptop and created an account just for this.I have never seen anything like this before. I have never met anyone like Jancy & Bryan Stanton. Twisted Spine & Joint is my happy place. I mean my 6 week treatment just started last week and I am sad just thinking that in 5 weeks, it will be over. I don't even know where to begin on how to compliment this wonderful duo. I have never been ANYWHERE, I mean ANYWHERE (restaurant, clinic, store, etc.) that has given me amazing customer service like Jancy & Bryan have. The service was amazing before we even walked in the door. My boyfriend & I were in a car accident and we have been to three ER's to get help for the pain we have been feeling. Finally our attorney referred us to Twisted Spine & Joint Center. I was pretty nervous because I have just never had good service when it comes to medical treatment. I am so used to doctors just moving us along like a herd of cattle. Jancy called us to set up our appointments, she was extremely helpful over the phone. She worked so hard to make sure our appointment date and time were perfect for us, and she even explained to us what to expect when we came in. She offered us the ability to even fill out our forms ahead of time notifying us that it does take a minute. Arriving the day of the appointment, she knew who we were before we walked through the door. Now this isn't one of those places that say "Open at 8:00AM" and then don't unlock their doors until 8:09. . . they were open. . . ON TIME. I literally stepped back of the curb to make sure I was at the right place. Although we weren't able to do our paperwork at home, she was extremely understanding & got us our paperwork and explained it to us. She offered us a desk to sit at or in the chairs (to accommodate the likes of different people). She also offered us coffee and/or cold water. I turned it away because at this point, I am still in shock, right? I was just like. . . there is no way. . . NO WAY, that this is real. So we are doing our paperwork and I mean she is constantly checking on us to make sure we are doing okay. So we finally finished our paperwork and went into the front room for the start of the process. I have never ever ever had someone explain to me what they were going to do before they did it. And I mean she explained everything. I felt so confident and happy to be there. Things have been rough for us so I was feeling pretty hopeful at this point. This was my first time meeting her, but she seemed so genuine and competent, I began to express my concerns with the process we have been going through as far as insurance and dealing with lawyers, etc. She gave us great advice and assured us that her husband Bryan has personal experience in that realm and that he would be more than happy to help us out. Jancy continued to ask us how we felt during the whole process, constantly checking on us, offering us drinks, and she even gave me some cookies!!! :D Because I have had just completely awful customer service experiences, I was thinking very negatively, trying to figure out what was wrong there because it seemed too perfect. So we finally get to meet Bryan, he comes in and is extremely warm and happy. He asks us about our situation and how we are feeling. He explains the whole process, I mean everything and even gave us advice for questions we had in regards to dealing with the rest of this car accident process. He showed us exactly what was going on with our bodies. I mean I have never felt so confident in a doctor. I felt so safe and secure there, it was instant relief for us both. Bryan knows what he is doing and he is amazing at it. I mean they really go above and beyond to do anything that can to make our lives better. I was so excited for our second visit! When we came in for the second visit today, we felt like we were home. It is such an amazing comfortable environment with these two here. We expressed to them the problems we were having contacting our lawyers office. Jancy left to go share with Bryan our troubles, when they came back, they notified us that they had contacted our lawyers office and that we should be expecting a call from them (which we received in less than an hour). I was shocked, they didn't have to do that for us but they did. They genuinely care! The rest of the session was heavenly, I felt like I could float away. Before arriving here, were we so miserable, stressed out and in so much pain, we could barely move. After leaving here, we felt so hopeful. We felt so good, we could move and we were happy and it was like being in a completely different world. We didn't want to leave. But now we have something to look forward to.
