In a state known for barbecue - this was a huge let down. The secret is low and slow - but I don't think these folks got the message. I have had better meat made in an oven. The ribs were under-cooked, and chewy. They didn't come close to "falling off the bone". Their "rub" was thick and sweet - maybe too much brown sugar? The brisket almost tasted microwaved. It was dry on the lean side, and chewy on the fatty side. None of the tell-tale signs of smoking meat really. The sides were OK, although the "fried potato salad" is just home-fries with some sauce on them. They would have been good for breakfast though! The slaw was decent although generic - almost could have been bought from Nobel-Sysco. The green beans were a stand out, they were very good. The fried okra was nothing better than what came out of a box. The barn was really cool, and the server was very friendly. Just disappointing food.

Next you choose a table which all have three types of sauces: white sauce, bbq sauce and a spicy bbq sauce (which isn't that spicy) The ribs fell right off the bones as it should. So soft and melt in your mouth. The sauces available here were my fav. I also love that they offer turkey as an alternative for people watching their red meat and cholesterol. I shared a full rack with my bf and it came with two sides. They offer honey and butter for your corn bread which are shaped like little muffins The service was friendly as well.
