We also ordered some onion rings for an appetizer. They are thick! I am more of a fan of thinner onion rings, but these were still good and I loved the sauce. It was decently busy when we went, but our service was just okay. Our server took a little bit to take our order and bring us the check which we understood since it was busy, but there were larger parties that got sat after us, that were in and out before we were. In a state known for barbecue - this was a huge let down. The secret is low and slow - but I don't think these folks got the message. I have had better meat made in an oven. The ribs were under-cooked, and chewy. They didn't come close to "falling off the bone". Their "rub" was thick and sweet - maybe too much brown sugar? The brisket almost tasted microwaved. It was dry on the lean side, and chewy on the fatty side. None of the tell-tale signs of smoking meat really. The sides were OK, although the "fried potato salad" is just home-fries with some sauce on them. They would have been good for breakfast though! The slaw was decent although generic - almost could have been bought from Nobel-Sysco. The green beans were a stand out, they were very good.
