This is a fantastic cigar shop. It has a nice selection in the humidor and even has a little lounge area. We were passing by in Park Ridge and stopped by while looking at the other shops. As we were looking we couldn't find my brand of Jericho Hills. The manager was kind enough to FaceTime the owner to find them. If that's not the best customer service I don't know what is. I would certainly check this place out if you're in the area and I'll for sure be back myself. read more

We have gone here several times. I was looking at the empty cigar boxes. I asked if they were available, clerk said they were for customers. My husband had 75. 00 in cigars in his hand to purchase. I would have put them back and left. He bought the cigars. I was going to buy my husband something for our anniversary, but I'll go somewhere else. I will never go back. I will also find the cigars he bought somewhere else. read more

I think the other reviews here are spot on. What I've come to realize is the staff follow you into the humidor because the selection is so huge, there are cigars you wouldn't be able to find on your own. It felt like big-brother watching at first, but I've come to embrace the behavior as owners wanting me to find some good cigars...and they have some really good cigars! read more

This place is totally whacked. There are hookahs, autographed sports memorabilia and a decent size humidor filled with high quality Cigars. I had no idea that this place even existed until I passed it while walking around Park Ridge. I still can't get over how strange this place was. The young man who was working the counter answered all of my questions about the autographed jersey's and pictures but when I made my way into the humidor he tailed me like a suspect. I thought that he was going to tell me about some of the Cigars that they stocked, but he knew as much about Cigars as the Pope. I think he was afraid that I was going to steal something. It was quite odd. I can't really complain too much, I walked out of the shop with a couple of rare Gurkha's and a few other smokable goodies. The prices were about the same as any other place in Cook County and the Cigars were in good condition. Around the world is not the kind of place that I'm going to visit on a regular basis, but if I'm in the area I will stop in again. I'm just hoping that I don't get treated like a bank robber on my next visit. read more
