I was very very grateful to find this office they had an amazing staff they went above and beyond anything I could have asked them to do first off the front desk person Katrina was amazing she was able to find me an appointment and when I needed to adjust some other appointments she made sure that it fit my schedule and brought me in at the time that would work for me she never made me feel like it was too much to take care of my requests when I called. I was also helped by the office manager Lori this lady is amazing she was able to help explain all of the appointments that I needed why I needed them and how they needed to be scheduled and also assured me each and every step of the way how my insurance would cover how the cost would be she went through every detail and whenever I had questions and I had to call back she was always right there to take my call and answer any questions I had she also had an amazing gift of making you feel calm about the procedures that were coming up she was very knowledgeable I had the opportunity to be worked on by Dr Townsend and Dr Haila. Both doctors were very precise very caring very kind and they knew what they were doing I had a lot of work that had to be done and the dentist made sure I was able to get everything done in the time frame that I needed to get it done by. My dentist was assisted by Deedra, now Deedra should be called The Tooth Whisperer she was amazing she was there for me for every question I had when anxiety wanted to rise up she made sure I was comfortable every step of the way she explained everything that I needed to know she talked to me the whole time to keep me calm and while she was doing that she was also able to assist the dentist and take care of the rest of my dental needs as well the entire staff really impressed me there was also a lady another lady there named Jocelyn she was another assistant she was wonderful and made sure that I was taking care of as well I really liked how this team worked together the environment was clean and you could tell that the staff really worked good together and got along well there was no tension in the air it was a nice place to be and I will say because it's really nice when you go to a place that has clean bathrooms and their bathrooms were spotless the place smelled amazing thank you so much Elite Dental Group in Thornton for making this a wonderful experience I'm so glad that I was able to find you and have all my dental needs met

On Monday (8/10/26) I needed to have two cavities filled which I have not needed in 20+ years. I was understandably anxious after some poor experiences at other practices. Dr Leo was a consummate professional and his "chairside" manner immediately put me at ease. Throughout the procedure he and his assistant Jane were comforting and checked in with me often to ensure I was calm and relaxed. It's true, as another reviewer mentioned, that you might come in and then have to make extra appointments. I think that depends on the staff available and what other patients need, and perhaps if one's appointment is on a weekend (I was there this time on Saturday and will come back for my fillings in 2 weeks). I went in last year, however, and needed molar extraction, which they did on the spot -- painlessly, I might add! They also have a great credit partner in Cherry Credit, so that was a real plus as well. Along those same lines of finances, I find them to be the most non-pushy dental office I've been to, offering the various options of treatment, and then respecting the patient's decisions on that. All in all, all staff---front desk to hygienists to the DDS staff--are exceptional, and I never dread going to the dentist now. I already left a review on Google a year or so ago, so thought I'd leave one on Yelp this time after seeing them for my biannual cleaning. PS: A bright and airy office and good tunes too!

In response to Barron Family Dental's reply:…read more Before my appointment, I took deliberate steps to confirm that Barron Family Dental was in-network for my specific plan -- Cigna DPPO Advantage. I provided my physical insurance card to your front desk, explicitly asked for verification based on that plan, and was told more than once that your office and the treating provider were in-network. After receiving a significantly higher-than-expected bill, I contacted Cigna directly. During that call -- which occurred shortly after the appointment -- a Cigna representative and I searched their system for Dr. Abigail Nye. At the time, she was not listed under any Cigna network. Not just for my plan -- she simply did not appear in their provider system at all. Now, after the fact, Dr. Nye appears in Cigna's directory -- but only under the Total and Total Plus plan networks. She is still not listed under Cigna DPPO Advantage, which is the plan I have. Yet your office's own PDF -- linked on your website -- explicitly lists "Cigna DPPO Advantage Dentist" under accepted in-network plans. That was part of what influenced my decision to book with your office. The issue here is not just confusion over plan names. It's about negligent misrepresentation. I presented my insurance card, asked your staff to verify network status for my specific plan, and was assured that I was covered. Cigna's billing and coverage records -- both then and now -- do not support that assurance. I was billed at out-of-network rates because the provider was not, and is still not, in-network for my plan. Even if your network affiliations have since changed, that does not retroactively justify what happened at the time of my appointment. Patients have a legal and ethical right to rely on what they're told by a provider's staff when verifying coverage. If I had been informed honestly that the provider wasn't in-network, I would have made a different decision. This situation has caused avoidable financial harm, and I've submitted documentation to the appropriate regulatory authorities. The inconsistency between what your staff communicated, what your website claimed, and what Cigna confirmed is not acceptable. Your website says advantage dentists and I have a ppo advantage plan. Your desk people literally took my card twice and assured me I was covered, intentional or not if it wasn't untrue, that doesn't excuse it from being a point of negligent misrepresentation. This truly is a clear cut small claims case. As well as I have transcripts of the call logs with Cigna dental. Whether or not the dental board wants to waste their time with it is one thing but that doesn't mean that what I'm saying is incorrect. In fact I have a feeling a small claims court would see otherwise.
