The office is immediately welcoming to my young kids (3, 2 and 1) with a treehouse to play on!! Kid friendly magazines and a movie we're playing as well. The front office staff were kind and welcoming to me and my girls. It made them feel so welcome and safe. The cleaning took place on a long flat seat, and they were given a choice of movies to watch and comfortable headphones for listening. While my other daughters waited, there was a playroom adjacent to the exam area and my girls were told to feel comfortable wandering back and forth as they needed. The dental hygienist was kind and patient and excited about her work. You could tell she loved working with kids! And my girls loved her! Then dentist himself was wonderful and personable to me... being a male, and bit loud, he made my girls a little nervous, but they warmed up quickly when they saw that I was comfortable. As we exited, the girls were given a special coin to get a treat out of the vending machine the office has!! They were thrilled! I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! And hurry before they stop taking new patients, as amazing of a place as this is, that is sure to happen!

I was very clear that I did not want silver teeth in my son's mouth, they wouldn't let me or dad sit thru the procedure which also bothered me and when he came out of the procedure he had 4 silver teeth. Most offices don't even practice this anymore because it is NOT SAFE. However this office decided to cheap out my son and go against my wishes as a mother. I worked that day and sent dad in with clear instructions. I am not happy and they are lucky I haven't filed a lawsuit. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!!

1 Star I am…read moreextremely disappointed with our experience at Paseo Ranch Pediatric Dentistry. My daughter has two very large cavities that require treatment under anesthesia due to her sensory issues, and her procedure was just canceled last minute because the office did not receive the medical records they were requesting, it is especially frustrating because I was given a piece of paper with instructions to fax the medical-record requests to all of my daughter's doctors and specialists myself. I was essentially expected to coordinate the records between multiple medical offices on the dental office's behalf. I did everything I was asked to do, including sending the faxes, calling and emailing her specialists medical records department but the doctors' offices did not respond to the requests in time. Even my daughter's pediatrician's office commented that it was unusual for the parent to be responsible for coordinating and obtaining these records rather than the dental office handling the requests directly. I completely understand that medical clearance and records are important before anesthesia, and I want my daughter's procedure to be as safe as possible. However, I do not understand why the responsibility for obtaining records from multiple specialists was placed on the parent, especially when I had no control over whether those offices responded to the faxes. The most upsetting part is that my daughter's procedure was removed from the schedule at the last minute, despite the fact that she has two significant cavities that need to be treated urgently. Now she has to wait even longer for necessary dental treatment because of an issue that was outside of my control. As a parent, I did everything I was asked to do. I expected the dental office to work with her medical providers to obtain the necessary information rather than putting that responsibility entirely on me. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and has caused unnecessary stress and, most importantly, an additional delay in my daughter receiving the treatment she needs.

When we came here we were instantly welcomed with a smile and everyone looked happy to see us, not annoyed like others lol. Name tags, fun lobby with fish tank, coloring table and pac man. Great light coming from windows & it is attached to an ortho office so your child can get both things done at the same place. So smart! There are no individual rooms, there are chairs all next to each other In an open room. Parents can sit in a chair next to their child. Then after the visit the kids get a coin to get a special prize out of the machines. On your first visit you get a tshirt, and if you wear your tshirt to your next visit you get 2 coins for 2 prizes :) Overall, the dentist was friendly, helpful and educational. My daughter was at ease with him looking at her teeth. We will be back in 6 months!

The dental assistant brought us back and showed the kids the nifty tools they use to clean their teeth and got them excited and comfortable in their seats. The cleaning was quick, painless, and the kids did great. I have a horrible fear of the dentist, so I am glad this isn't going to be haunting my next generation. The dentist inspected their baby teeth and all got a good report with directions to brush, ditch the binky, and come back in 6 months. When we left the kids were given tokens for the prize machines which was so fun and clever. They also got t shirts and a new toothbrush and exciting floss!! The office itself is fairly large with a fantastic waiting area for the kids with a fish tank, camping decor, coloring books and crayons, a movie playing, and books to stay entertained. The back of the office invites campers back with more fun decor, colorful chairs, and a comfortable atmosphere that makes the dentist fun! We were nothing but impressed and pleased with Happy Campers, and our kids are pumped to brush and floss now!

I told the front office that we recently had a terrible experience at a chain dentist. The dental assistant talked with me about it and asked me if there was anything specific they could do for my son to make him feel more comfortable and less nervous. The dentist came in, showed me x-rays and exactly what was going on, then discussed the plan of action. There was no hustle or hurrying us out the door. This plan might just be a hidden gem and I'm grateful I found them. Even the bathrooms were clean, smelled great, and roomy for a mom with three kiddos tagging along.

The dentists have been pleasant and we have learned that I need an early appointment since toddlers are fussier at the end of their day. The waiting room does not have much for kids to play with or stay entertained but they were close to my home so we continued to attend. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 months at 7am today. When they called to confirm my appointment, they no longer had a provider available at 7 am and wanted to move the appointment to 8am. I said "okay" because my first meeting of the day was at 9am and they are mere minutes from my home. I arrived at 7:35 knowing I would likely be waiting until 8am. As I sat there the waiting room continued to fill up. Some children were there for things like ortho work or fillings but there were a few families that as I listened were there for checkups, like my son. These families were called in one after another, including the checkups that had walked in at 8am or right after. At 8:20 am I decided to leave as I could no longer wait. It is unacceptable to move our appointment later and then not get my son back in a timely manner but continue to take others back. I was told at 7:45 that I would be back "around 8, as soon as the room got set up." You might not value my time but I do. Extremely disappointed in the experience with your front office.

Family Dental Station completely wasted my time and handled this situation in an extremely…read moreunprofessional and deceptive manner. I scheduled this appointment over a week in advance and specifically informed the office when booking that I would be using a Groupon. This was not new information and this was not my first appointment with them. They had more than enough time to contact me beforehand if they had no intention of honoring the Groupon. Instead, they waited until I arrived for my appointment -- after I had already taken time off work -- to suddenly refuse to accept it. Their insulting "solution" was offering to deduct the $7 Groupon purchase price from the full cost of the appointment, which completely defeats the purpose of purchasing a Groupon in the first place. What is especially concerning is that nowhere on the Groupon voucher does it state there is a "one-time lifetime use" restriction. In fact, the Groupon explicitly states it may be repurchased every 30 days. Either the office is falsely advertising through Groupon or they are making up policies as they go. The entire experience felt dishonest, disorganized, and discriminatory. Based on the way I was treated, I cannot rule out the possibility of racial discrimination playing a role in this situation. People work hard for their money and their time. Taking off work for an appointment only to be blindsided upon arrival is unacceptable. I would strongly advise anyone considering this office to get EVERYTHING in writing before scheduling because their word clearly means nothing.
