There was nothing special about the dental office or the experience that made it feel like it was geared towards kids. Nothing fun in the waiting room, no balloon or sticker at the end. We went back for a second visit and had the same experience, maybe worse. When we stopped going back, I received incessant calls and texts from multiple phone numbers about rescheduling, even after telling them we weren't continuing there. I typically get seen within ten minutes of my appointment and the lobby keeps my son entertained. Today there was a bit of av wait but nowadays there's always a waiting time with COVID. So my son is very particular about his teeth being spaced (weird! The dental assistant brought us back and showed the kids the nifty tools they use to clean their teeth and got them excited and comfortable in their seats. The dentist inspected their baby teeth and all got a good report with directions to brush, ditch the binky, and come back in 6 months. The office itself is fairly large with a fantastic waiting area for the kids with a fish tank, camping decor, coloring books and crayons, a movie playing, and books to stay entertained. There was nothing professional about this conversation. I asked her name and she put me on hold. Someone else got on the phone and seemed to be "just cordial" with me. I asked to speak to the manager but she never called me. I got off the phone shaking.
