I've kept quiet about this and now I'm speaking up because the more people in the dental community that I tell this story too the more I realized what was done to my song was WRONG. Because I have acchhs healthcare these people just did whatever to my son. I was very clear that I did not want silver teeth in my son's mouth, they wouldn't let me or dad sit thru the procedure which also bothered me and when he came out of the procedure he had 4 silver teeth. Most offices don't even practice this anymore because it is NOT SAFE. However this office decided to cheap out my son and go against my wishes as a mother. I worked that day and sent dad in with clear instructions. I am not happy and they are lucky I haven't filed a lawsuit. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!! read more

We had a very disappointing experience at this office. The dentist has no bedside manner, comes across as cold, and does not thoroughly explain treatments or what to expect. My husband and I both attended our appointment, and we were completely caught off guard at our second visit when additional details about the treatment were brought up that had never been discussed beforehand. I had a long conversation with both the dentist and the hygienist explaining how important it is for me to understand everything in advance so that I can build trust and feel comfortable moving forward. Despite that conversation, immediately after completing the treatment, we were informed that a second treatment would be required something that was never previously mentioned. The lack of communication and transparency is extremely frustrating. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this office based on our experience. read more

I've been searching and searching for a great pediatric dentist a d after a recommendation from a friend we found just the place in Surprise Pediatric Dentistry. The new patient process was easy and I loved that it also offers Orthodontics if needed so there would be no need to go elsewhere. The front office staff is friendly and welcoming. The office is awesome and includes play areas in the form of tree house type areas. The kids loved the sunglasses they got to wear, the fact they got to control the remote to watch what they wanted while getting their cleanings. The dentist was just as awesome, explained everything important to ensure the health of their teeth and never made us feel rushed. You may want to come a bit early for your appointment because the parking lot is very busy and it can be hard to find parking spot. read more

My child had treatment done and before it all started he was comforted and taken care of by Frances, she made sure he had his favorite show on tv with his headphones on, she made sure he knew everything she was doing to him so he wouldn't be nervous. After treatment she attended to him as if he was one of her own, she also gave him a couple rewards for him doing so awesome. My four-year-old loves coming here. It's very very friendly environment for children. They put little sunglasses on them, have a TV on the ceiling for them to watch and be distracted. He comes here and remembers that he gets a toy at the end. Definitely recommend. read more

Dr. Kara is awful. My child was having her tooth extracted by Kara and she was very scared, while Dr. Kara was numbing her she told my daughter that if she didn't stop crying she wasn't going to stop hurting her. I will continue to spread the word that this place is awful; they have zero tolerance for neurodiverse kids and treat the parents and patients like crap. The front office staff is EXTREMELY rude and talks crap about people in front of other clients. The staff here is amazing. Everyone is so sweet. The office is really nice and has a cool indoor treehouse for the kids to play in. Dr. Jensen was really nice and informative. My daughter really liked the play areas but didn't like getting anything done to her teeth (what kid does though?) I brought my daughter in for the first time yesterday morning for a check up and they were able to fit her in the same afternoon to get fillings and a crown. After my daughter's procedure, they let her pick a cute toy, which she loves. I highly recommend this dentist. read more

Brought both my girls here on 2 different occasions. I'm honestly amazed how well they treated each one of them making them feel comfortable letting them pick their own tv show. The office vibe is amazing you can feel a sense of family as you walk in. Even between the employees they speak to each other like sisters. Dr was awesome too! This is hands done the nicest dentist I have ever been to. Squeaky clean! This place is beautiful decorated to be warm and inviting for kids and the family. All of the staff are super nice and friendly and really helpful. Heck I want this to be my new dintist. Lol. They reward the kids with tokes for a prize when they are done insteas of candy. The children love the tree house. They have TV's on the ceiling for the children to watch as they get their teeth worked on with headphones on to help tune out the sound of the drill. We can't express enough, how happy we are with this Clinic. From the staff to the Dr and assistants, hygienist!!! My kids loved the atmosphere so much and our Emma had quit few procedures done and she was not scared and she was so happy. My 3 yr old has sensory disorder and I was so happy he actually felt so comfortable he requested to have an Appt after seeing his sister. The Doctor takes his time and explains EVERYTHING thoroughly!! Such caring Dr. I love the fact that they let you stay with your kid! Pricing is very reasonable. It's the dentist what can we expect! Absolutely above my dream expectations of what a pediatric dentist office should be like! They GET kids! The office is immediately welcoming to my young kids (3, 2 and 1) with a treehouse to play on!! Kid friendly magazines and a movie we're playing as well. The front office staff were kind and welcoming to me and my girls. It made them feel so welcome and safe. The cleaning took place on a long flat seat, and they were given a choice of movies to watch and comfortable headphones for listening. While my other daughters waited, there was a playroom adjacent to the exam area and my girls were told to feel comfortable wandering back and forth as they needed. The dental hygienist was kind and patient and excited about her work. You could tell she loved working with kids! And my girls loved her! Then dentist himself was wonderful and personable to me... being a male, and bit loud, he made my girls a little nervous, but they warmed up quickly when they saw that I was comfortable. As we exited, the girls were given a special coin to get a treat out of the vending machine the office has!! They were thrilled! I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone! And hurry before they stop taking new patients, as amazing of a place as this is, that is sure to happen! read more

My grandson was visiting and he was having some tooth discomfort .He couldn't go to his regular Dentist so we searched for a dentist near us that would see him on such short notice. They were willing and able to see him the next day. The office was clean and the staff was very courteous and welcoming. We loved this location and the staff the first few times we visited. They're all very friendly and the play areas are very clean. Our son, unfortunately, didn't like it as much as we did. They give cute little toys and nice bags with tooth brushes in them when you're all done with is really nice. However, Our sons dentist does not seem very supportive of breastfeeding. Our son is 1.5 and probably not going to stop nursing anytime super soon so that was disappointing to hear. We also chose against the fluoride treatment since our son was super fussy and overall, not happy and had to sign a waiver which was a little odd. Overall, we'd definitely love to continue going to this location but may try to find another dentist more supportive of breastfeeding past the age of one. read more

This place: I absolutely love this place! My kids love this place! If you have kids who are scared of the dentist, then this is the place to take away their fear! It's set up as a like a jungle theme with two tree houses in the waiting room, a play area in the back and they have tvs set up at the chair (when your child is being seen) with tons of movies to watch (while getting teeth cleaned! This place is awesome for my 6-year-old. He's been here three times already and, unlike me when I was a kid, is not scared to go to the dentist's office. He loves chatting it up with the amazing staff and Dr. Jensen. As a response to the COVID-19 CDC guidance and regulations, they do an amazing job of keeping the office sanitized and ensuring there is not more than necessary foot traffic and people in a shared space. After two patients and their guardian(s) were in the waiting room, the rest of us were asked to stay nearby in our cars until someone called us to allow us in the waiting room (when one family rotated into their appointment time). When a family moved from the waiting room, the chairs and space around them were immediately sanitized by a staff person. It was a good system/rotation. Excellent job! read more

The dentist could barely even get to see inside her mouth because she was crying. No we done need to give her laughing gas because after TWO other dentist opinions she doesn't has CAVITIES!! Hmmm???
