I moved to Glendale/Phoenix 5yrs ago and was still traveling home (LosAngeles) to see my Primary Dr because I literally could not find a professional office... until now! I was referred to this number from a recent Hospital visit for a follow up and was like WOW!!! Ashley answered the phone and blew me away with her professionalism, patience, kindness, empathy, understanding and overall HUMANITY as a person!!! We've been going here since they opened. As time goes by, there is no customer service. Get in, get out. And don't try to call to speak to your Dr. You have to leave a message and hope Dr. calls you back. No such luck. Always an assistant. As for waiting times... they do take people out of order. You get there before your appointment and the person after you comes in first, they take them and leave you sitting in the exam room sometimes for an hour. This is not a Doctors office. This office has growing pains. Messages are sent to the wrong doctor and my appointment was scheduled with the wrong provider. There was discussion in the hallway about my case (HIPPA?) for anyone to hear. I can sense the frustration of too many patients and too little time. My feelings were very hurt today on how I was treated. I felt more like a burden than a patient. I have really enjoyed working with my provider but I don't think I could stay with this practice due to the poor operations behind the scenes. read more

This place ia a joke.. First of all the doctor on my medical card is Dr. Janice Johnston. I have been going here for years and never met her. I see pain management there. I have moderate spinal stenosis in my upper cervical and lower back.degeneratibe disc disease a compressed spine and rhumatoid arthritis. I have done epidurals and ablations with this place and im still in pain. I told them i do not want anymore epidurals or ablation because they dont seen to work for me. Docor & i desides to try pain medication. The doctor gave me tylenol 3 with codiene.. The same medication they give u when u have a freakin tooth ache. Are u freakin kidding me! All i want is to live my life as normal I can with all thats going on with my body. I have test result and MRI"s that show how bad my spine is. I wouldnt recomend tbis place to anyone. I have had really poor service from this group. Firstly, you never see the Doctor, you are assigned to a PA, ok, for a while perhaps. But this one didn't like me, was judgmental on the prescriptions I wanted and ran tests that I think quite frankly are insulting. I believe the person has since left, however, when I asked the good Dr to fill a prescription, she and her organization seem to be incompetent in filling it. Three requests were unanswered. I have been seeing Arrowhead Health, now Redirect health since my mid 20s. Every time I came in it was a different provider. I always felt rushed and as if I was just another patient. It seems they go through a lot doctors/providers. I have been thinking about finding a new provider. Now that I'm in my mid 40s, I feel I need to start seeing my doctor, the same one, regularly and want someone that will listen to me and take the time to address all my concerns and needs. For the first time I got all that and more with Patrice Augustyniak. I felt that she really cared. Because of her, I will not be looking for another Doctor and will continue seeing this practice. I made an appointment to get a referral for an OB.. the doctor that I saw was so pushy when it came to picking an OB that he wanted me to see instead of someone I wanted to choose. Fast forward three weeks later.. they still never sent the referral for my appointment. They blamed it on my insurance when in fact they never sent it. When they finally did send it to my insurance, the referral was completely wrong. Being a military spouse we are able to choose an off base pcm.. I chose this facility. The staff was pleasant and the appointment ladies were so helpful with the problem But there top priority isn't the patients. I won't be going back. read more

I have never left a negative review in my life but since they sent me this link asking me to review my visit, here it goes. This review is mainly in reference to the GLENDALE office as the scheduling error that was made for the surprise office was a miscommunication and a minor inconvenience but couple it with the awful dr visit and it was truly the visit from hell. Started out getting called 30 mins before my morning appointment to tell me the provider I was seeing couldn't prescribe my particular medication, so they rescheduled me for a few hours later. not a huge deal. got to that appointment to be told it was actually at the glendale office (I didn't even know they had a glendale office and somehow missed that during the conversation) again, annoying but not a huge deal. was rescheduled in glendale for an appointment 15 minutes away. Told the receptionist my GPS showed a 20 minute drive and she assured me it would take 10, it took 20 so as anticipated I was late. Apologized and explained the situation to the receptionist and the medical assistant (who were super sweet) and assumed it was going to be better from there. WRONG. I have never had a doctor make me so small. From scolding me for being late (after I explained the office scheduling issue) to making me feel like a criminal for trying to refill a prescription i've been on FOR YEARS. I have NEVER done drugs or miss-used prescriptions i've been given but felt like i was being treated like a druggie trying to do something illegal. I literally left ugly crying because I was so frustrated. If I could give 0 stars, I would. 10/10 DO NOT recommend. read more

This is a place that I was referred to by my doctor for severe chronic pain issures in my spine. I have had surgeries and 8 different procedures done in order to relieve pain which didn't work. I am on high doses of pain medication and had a change of insurance, and am trying to get a spinal cord stimulator, which I find out they do and I have started the process with them. They are very nice and were able to get me in quickl. I didn't even have to wait long. They're very punctual. Downsides: NOBODY did any vitals at all. I told them that I've had a fever since Thanksgicing, and no reaction. They also said that since my PCP notes said I have syncope, which can come from the heart. They didn't even take any of my vitals. I have no symptoms revolving around my heart. I am on a lot of meds that make me sleepy and dizzy, which could be adverse effects from my meds. Dr. Shah also told the PA before meeting with me, or recieving my previous records about my various medications, procedures, and temporary spinal cord stimulator, said that he wouldn't give me any meds (I'm on like 8 different ones). My previous pain management doctor has me on 2 heavy narcotics while trying to get me on a spinal cord stimulator to make me comfortable so I'm not constantly in the hospital. Well, I had an insurance change from my husband's work and my previous pain management doc doesn't do permanent spinal cord stimulators in cervical spine and referred me to Dr. Shah. What is the point of doing pain management if they don't do pain meds while waiting for spinal cord stimulator. My goal is to gwt off all meds completely, but I am constantly having surgery and other procedures due to the severeity of my condition and the pain. They did not seem phased ny any of this. Looking back, they probably assumed that I'm a new client just trying to get meds, especially the ones I am currently taking. I am on meds that need to be weened off of and I am about to run out, that is why I was so upset about the no meds rule. With heavy doses of all 8 meds, if I don't gradually ween off, it can cause serious issues, not to mention I do in fact need them until the many months it takes to get approved by the insurance company to get the procedure. It just felt like they made some pre-consultation judgments without all the information. I feel unheard and like they insulted my intelligence regarding the plan made with my previous physician. read more

Why is it so hard for the medical assistants to call me to give me the results of my tests. I have been trying to reach them since yesterday about a test I took Thursday. They call and I missed literally a 2 minutes top, I return the call and what happens they can't get a hold of them so they can read me the results. R they the only ones that can do that? What about the doctors. Anyone! So disappointed. I understand they get busy I too work in the medical field but we return calls ASAP and don't keep the patient hanging. read more

Rude, no one is ever available, physician's won't return your call or speak with you unless you are there in front of them and they have no other choice. PA's don't even introduce themselves when they enter room--could not care less about what is wrong with you as they just sit in chair and don't even get up to check you out--asked for referrals and they sent me ones not in my insurance group==I called insurance company and got names and phone numbers which I gave to them and still waiting 3 weeks after for those referrals! Chiropractor was nice but they don't tell you there is an additional fee for the massage and heat table.Having never gone to a chiropractor before I thought that was all part of the session til I got an extra bill!!Next to Adelante which I went to when I first got to Arizona, this has to be the worst medical place I have ever been to really read more

I needed two medications refilled and called Arrowhead Health, that I have been established with for 15 yrs. They told me they would contact the doctor for the refill but I would need to set an appointment. I set the appointment and the next day they refilled one of the two meds. I arrived to my 4PM appointment 20 minutes early and was greeted. At 4:15 they told the person in front of me that the doctor will be another 30 minutes and then asked me if I was OK to wait after that. It would of been 1 hour after my appointment. Needless to say I have to reschedule now. And I still haven't received one of my refills. read more

My experience here was excellent. The chiropractor was one of the best I have been to. (I had to change from my previous one due to new insurance and tried Dr. Grozier here just from my insurance listing). They even provide heat, roller table and muscle work before adjustment, which makes it more effective. It was easy to get an appointment that worked with my schedule, the front desk was very pleasant as was the waiting room. I'm even considering changing my primary care there based on my experience with the practice. read more

I have been very ill and when emergency called to get me an appointment they gave me one a week away nothing sooner, when I called I told them their website showed same day or next day appointments. They said sorry busy.I waited till Thursday saw the pa who said they never got records from urologist and could not do a thing,I told her my urologist said my liver enzymes were elevates 10x an i needed liver and blood panel.she said she had to ×it for test reading,started vomiting and she gave me nasaeu med.made me apt for next wed. All booked up. Urologist called next morn saying she had fixed results which arrowhead couldn't find. Called urologist said relax.took arrowhead 3 tries to find then they said couldn't find. Called back got refaced.arrowhead couldnt find .finally got a call back from pa who said she couldnt do a thing without the scan,I asked just to get the blood paneled done since we knew I needed them.she said i would have to see her on wed. I got angry and asked to talk to the head doc. got his med assistant who said no openings,I told heri have been so sick for 2 1\2 weeks now.can't get out of bed.she promised I would get a callback that night or early next morning.lies never happened.now I am going to have to go back to emergency.they care nothing about their patients read more

I used the Arrowhead Health network in 2007 when i first lived in the Phoenix area and can say it was outstanding then but has only gotten better. As a senior citizen a sjncerely appreciate the assistance in settjng up any appts with specialists and that i can call Arrowhead with any question and get an answer from a friendly helpful person. I also could not express in words how much i appreciate the excellent, concerned and honest medical care i receive from the Ave of the Arts location, i feel my medical care issues are between me and my health care provider not between me and a large insurance company. I could not say enough good things about Arrowhead and no i do not now nor have i ever worked for them or even known anyone who is now or has ever worked there nor would i consider myself an easy person to please when it comes to medical care, yet this company continues to exceed all my expectations. I live in a small retirement community where many others use Arrowhead and i have yet to hear any negative comments. Thanks for the outstanding medical care it is greatly appreciated. read more
