Went to Arroyo's last Friday and thoroughly enjoyed our food and service. We were a party of five and We ordered chicken fajitas, fish and shrimp skillet, chili relleno, chicken tacos and ground beef tacos. Everything was really good and the prices were decent. You get free queso with your chips and salsa and everyone got their own dish of queso. They have three salsas, one warm, and two cold. They were really good! Portions were large, most of us took food home. Our waitress Adriana was very sweet and attentive. The ONLY complaint I have and the reason I didn't give them 5 stars was the chicken fajitas were overcooked and definitely dry. Did I eat them, ABSOLUTELY lol. This restaurant is relatively inexpensive so that was very nice. The portions were very large. The staff was sweet. I enjoyed my food and was able to make three meals out of it. I really loved that they brought you free queso along with the salsa; that's a nice touch. I have only one complaint: I requested an order of beans and rice to go and they placed it in a styrofoam clamshell container. The beans were wet and loose (and delicious!) and were spilling out before they even made it to the table. So not only did I lose product I paid for, but it made a huge mess. We have eaten two meals in three days and both meals have been excellent. We have had a variety of dishes and cannot say enough good things about them. Our meals came out quickly and served hot. We never had to ask for refills, you would turn back from a conversation and have a full glass again. We had two different servers and each were very friendly and were very interactive with us. Food was okay. Was not impressed that I paid $8.00 for a large queso and got two tiny dipping cups and a half bag of chips. I also paid $6 for salsa, got one small cup and when I say cup I mean the small condiments cup size. And then no more chips. Either they completely missed the large item request or they are over charging big time. Ordered online and given a window, it was ready an additional 30 minutes after that window. We have had dinner here twice now and I can say we are a fan. I can't wait to try everything on the menu! Last night I had street tacos. I wanted one of each but after I placed my order they were out of carnitas so I got two El Pastor tacos, one ground beef, one crane asada and one chicken. The some of the chicken was a little dry, still tasty though. But the other tacos were excellent. Especially the El Pastor. I also love the melon drink they have. The staff was extremely nice from beginning to end of our meal. It doesn't look fancy but it decor embrace the former train depot atmosphere. The food was fantastic from the beginning, with 2 types of salsa and queso cheese brought with the chips... to the meals. We had shrimp quesadillas, the Acapulco, and the burrito supreme. The portions were huge. It was so good we wanted to eat more but couldn't possibly do so. To go boxes for everyone with fantastic leftovers the next day. Delicious food. A great price. And the staff was genuinely nice, not just customer service friendly, but really thoughtful. It is located near the town's Central Social District so could be a great place to eat and enjoy local events. We tried this place out while visiting the chiropractor next door. I was hesitant due to the fact that there was no Yelp review on it. We where sat down and served complementary chips, salsa, queso, and ranchero sauce which was my favorite. They have Dollar tacos on Mondays so that's what we ordered.
