I have been creating a patio for a firepit and needed a gravel foundation and flagstone to finish it off. I showed up to the rockyard and, very confused about the process, I walked inside to ask for help. The front desk employees were incredibly helpful and friendly. They explained the process and showed me where to go for the gravel and explained the types of flagstone they had. The excavator crew and the helpers on the ground who helped me with loading the flagstone were helpful and friendly. I felt like I got great quality of flagstone and at a good price. The entire process was easy and straightforward and I have been back several times as I finish up my project. I found out they also sell soil and mulch so you can bet I will be a returning customer in the spring and for any future project I embark on.

When we contacted customer service, instead of taking responsibility, they made us pay for the replacement items upfront and told us we'd only get a refund once the incorrect items were returned. This is such a poor way to do business. If a company makes a mistake--especially on an order this expensive--they should be the ones to fix it without putting the burden on the customer. To make matters worse, when the reordered items arrived, they were missing parts. Between the lack of accountability, the customer service frustration, and the quality control issues, this has been a stressful and disappointing experience.
