We stopped in during the St Pete 2nd Saturday Art Walk, which is really a MUST DO event. So many great galleries and shops to see in so many interesting neighborhoods. We parked by this gallery and stopped in on our way to Central Ave. They had pro sports team art by a local artist and some nice Carlton Ward photographs upstairs. He's a National Geographic photographer and has particpated in the missions up through Central Florida to highkight the areas natural features and advocate for conservation. Very friendly and helpful lady working at the gallery. They had a vintage early 70s pinball machine for sale that they let us play. :) All good.

The selections in the exhibition are beautiful. Each one is surprisingly more beautiful and different than the next one. The service in the gift shop where you purchase your ticket is especially great. You can ask questions and receive polite answers. I really enjoyed my visit. Don't forget to watch the live glass demonstration across the street at the Morean Arts center. Tips are appreciated.

My first time visiting here - we came because I saw on social media that they were having a pottery…read moresale. We showed up at 10 am when it was supposed to start, but clearly that was just a suggested time, because some of the artists had not even shown up yet, much less had their table with merchandise ready. The clay center is one of a few local Morean places; there is also the Morean Arts Center, and the Chihuly Collection on Central Ave. in St. Petersburg. We used the time waiting for the outside to be ready to wander around the inside of the clay shop. The building is an old railway station, and very interesting looking, with high ceilings and plenty of space for the makers. Merchandise was for sale on shelves up and down the walls. There were many different items for sale ranging from bowls, mugs, and plates to sculptures, all created by different artists in their own personal styles. We found out later that many of the artists were just bringing their inside work out to tables outside. I love that they have an "artists in residence" program - I saw one of their artists, Tyler Quintin, at a craft show and loved his work, followed him on social media, and then heard about this show. The best part of the day was watching a Raku pottery demonstration. It was amazing! After a second firing, the pottery was coated with a glaze in front of us, and then put in a trashcan with burning newspaper for a final firing. So neat! It looks like they offer a variety of classes, as well as intro-to-clay parties you can host for friends. I will definitely be back.

I've purchased some great things here! Cool looking mugs, planters, plates. Love how unique each piece is. Almost everything inside the building is for sale, and most of it is decently priced. They have rotating art exhibits right when you enter to the right. Really cool pieces to look at. There was also a unique spoon exhibit towards the center of the building the last time I was there. It's like going to a museum for free lol. You just wander the aisles and look at the beautiful clay work. We usually end up spending about 1-2 hours here. And plan to come back at least once a month as long as they keep holding their events. :)

Featuring all original artwork you'll be able to see; Custom Stained Glass Design (including some great pieces by Vincent), Original Paintings, Ceramics, Fused and Blown Glass (work by Katy Mattice and Chuck Boux), Jewelry, Sculpture, Photography and Raku. Every time we are in the area we stop in. On this visit we met Katy Mattice, who's medium is fused glass. What made the visit special is the we learned about the fuse glass process, which is much more complicated than I would ever have imagined. If you are are Corey Ave., you owe it to yourself to stop in the Vincent William Gallery. Gallery Hours are Monday through Saturday 10am - 5pm, Closed Sunday.

I read about this gallery in one of the magazines that I had ordered prior to our trip to the St. Pete Beach area. I was really excited to hit up some of the places on Corrie Ave. Vincent was not at all overbearing and allowed me to take my time and walk around the store. He specializes in a handful of local artists and has the art displayed in a way that allows you to see it all. I ended up buying 3 items and had Vincent ship it back to CT for me. If you like art, even if you're not an expert (as I am not), I would highly recommend popping into this gallery. It's well worth the trip.

Morean Art Center is a free art gallery in Central Ave. You can browse the exhibits and this…read morelocation is perfect when walking around to adore the art as well as get some a/c or escape the rain when it's raining. It's a great spot. They also have classes for art here. The art projects/classes are for the kids, as well as camps. They appear to be free also, but u Have to sign up. That's a great way to get some activities for the kiddos. These are held on Saturdays. They also have a Morean Art of Clay, Glass, and The Chihuly Collection. Those are separate locations. The Chihuly has a fee, and I'm not sure about the Clay and Glass. I still have I check those out. But there's so much art in St. Pete, & I sure love it! This Morean Art Center also has a gift shop so perhaps you can find something you would like to buy here also.

This place full of interactive, submersible art in the Warehouse District is the perfect spot to spend a hot or rainy day-and just get lost in the exhibit. It's a vibe, a mood, a vacation from the ordinary-and after visiting once, I've got to go back. Fairgrounds is located near Tropicana Field. We went on a Saturday in October 2023. It was busy, but not crowded. We were able to wander and explore at our own pace and to our hearts' delight. If you love old Florida, B movies and all things fun and fresh, you'll dig this place. The staff was really friendly-you can get tickets online, or in person when you get there-and parking was easy the day we were there. Have fun exploring. This will scratch your kitsch itch.
