Hot Latte, Egg Breakfast Burrito, Croissant

Walked in and Nelly Furtado was playing, immediately knew I loved this place! The employee working was very kind, card declined and they let me pay in cash. The service was above and beyond my expectations! The seating is wonderful, you can see the lovely outdoors from any table! The food was absolutely amazing, the fruit was fresh and zesty, the pancakes were soft yet crisped, and the chorizo burrito had real chorizo and was absolutely delicious! The strawberries were topped with a strawberry syrup, and overall the food was excellent. Will definitely be coming back soon and recommending this gem to friends

They offer a Breakfast Special Deal. I ordered the Breakfast Burrito and it was great! The tortilla was nicely grilled. The menu was extensive and there are many things to try. Might come back to try something else.

Delicious! This place never lets me down. Super healthy feeling and large portions. Me and my staff sat outside because I had my dog. The inside is clean and very welcoming and the man who took my order was extremely friendly. I will be coming back. They have great salads and sandwhich options and OMG their honey cake was amazing! I forgot to take a picture!!!

We found this place by chance by seeing an instagram advertisement by a YouTuber, the cafe is on Colorado street. Very clean and trendy. The food quality does not disappoint. We tried the Armenian omelette and omg it was awesome! Highly recommended! The drinks were great, the drip coffee was high quality. They have a good variety of pastries, macaroons and baklava. The Best part was the service provided by the two kind young gentlemen, Aro and Vahag. They were very professional and attentive, even it was busy and it was only two of them there. Loved this place and definitely will come back...

It just got better and better as I walked in and ordered then eat and paid. All five star experience. I walked it a small beautiful and clean cafe in Pasadena . Fist impression it might be pricey. BUT ! Lunch specials and other plated even less pricy than most places I have been. Quality of food was homemade . Usually I don't use this term loosely. But here you can actually see the chef and she is making it fresh. I checked . Music was spot on for this type of Cafe . Service was out of this world and the guys working there very kind and knowledgeable. It's downtown Pasadena and parking is on you. All these for under 18$ ?????? HOW ??? Highly recommend for lunch or date . One of top tear places that deserves 6 star

Slightly underwhelming. The visit didn't start off on a great foot. I arrived at 7 when they opened and I stood at the front waiting, there were 2 workers in the back that saw me and didn't say anything. 7 minutes later someone comes up to the front door and unlocks it. I gather the staff that was already in the building are not front of house but seeing as how they saw me it would have been courteous to acknowledge me and let me know the opener should be arriving shortly. I was picking up a Too Good To Go bag which was a good value, I received a sandwich, croissant, and one other pastry. Since I was there I ordered a hot matcha tea. I was disappointed to see him merely pour hot water into a paper cup and add matcha without the traditional whisking. That resulted in a not very smooth matcha. I will say they have a really cute space and what looks like some other really good items on their menu so it's a toss up if I would come back. The focaccia was not to my liking, the bread was ok. But the olives had a strange taste to them and while I like spice there was a strange spiciness to it that didn't pair well with the flavors. The sandwich I got was decent, it reminded me of a school lunch which was kind of nostalgic. I beefed it up with a few home ingredients which made it better but I will say I really loved the ciabatta they use. Overall they are average, if in the area I might stop in but wouldn't go out of my way

    Chicken quesadilla

We are soooo pleasantly surprised by this place. It was just beyond expectations! Aaaamazing, fresh taste of a real home-cooked meal. And believe you me, I have a gourmet chef cooking for me at home and I'm spoiled by all kinds of cuisines and home-cooked meals. So, my expectations are always very high and I am not easily pleased at all. So we ordered two classics, which was the Armenian traditional bean soup and the tomato omelette! And then we added the chicken quesadilla. I had zero expectations of the quesadilla, which turned out to be so amazing. I have never tasted anything so good in a quesadilla form. They made a healthy, light, mouth-watering remix on it. The dough (of the shell) was light and delicious and did not feel like a dough at all. The filling was very generous and balanced -- not greasy or annoyingly overwhelming with any ingredients. All made from scratch! Workers were also very generous and treated us to a housemade lemonade -- which I'm not a big lemonade fan, but the way they made it was so balanced and not overly sweet that I really enjoyed it. As for the other two dishes -- they were also through the Roof yummy. I looooved the soup, and I know both Armenian and Georgian cuisines (which is big on beans) very well and I'm a big fan of beans and I'm very picky with my beans. The broth and everything was so on point. And the last but not least -- the tomato omelette, which happens to be my not my favourite dish in general, even though I have somebody cooking it very well for me. But I took one spoonful and I was really impressed. And so was my family member who usually makes it herself from scratch at home. Overall, it really felt like we ate at home and ate a very good quality food, with our tummies feeling so happy and grateful right now. None of that heartburn, none of that bloating that you get when you eat at other places. Yes, there is no private parking but nothing on Colorado has private parking. However, the public parking is not too far and it's very reasonably priced only one dollar for the first two hours). This place is totally worth walking a little. I will definitely be back and I will be trying their stirfry and more dishes! And I'm really excited about trying their breakfast stuff. Oh, they also have really good looking pastries there. I was really eyeing the crêpe cake but I already got so full. Oh well. Next time. The guy running the place was also super nice super professional and super generous. He really treats customers with much patience and believe me, I'm a picky annoying kind of a customer who asks many questions and usually drives people up the wall. He did not even show a sign of irritation and was nothing but courteous and helpful. It is truly a gem in every way and a very rare thing to find these days to have a good quality Food, freshly made from scratch for a reasonable price in a clean place. PS I thought I would take the rest of my soup to go (it was a big bowl), but it was so good that I ended up finishing it on the spot lol

From the moment you walk in, everybody is so nice!! I was so pleasantly surprised.. everything is homemade and taste delicious. Super large portions too ! Probably the best pancakes I've ever had., and I've had a lot!! if you buy one of the breakfast plates, it comes with a free coffee and I didn't expect much. Oh my gosh., the actually drip each one and use Stumptown .. wow !

Such a cool find! We were initially going for lunch but they had a breakfast burrito special that was too hard to resist! Their American Breakfast was absolutely stacked to the max with protein, eggs, and it even came with pancakes! I tried their bacon burrito and it wasn't greasy at all. The cheese blend worked very well with the eggs and potato and balanced out the bacon. The staff were really nice and patient with us. Definitely my next visit when I come back!

Randomly decided to go into this place when we needed a quick snack and it was such a good new find. Would so go again and get a latte and work there. Anyways their matcha puff was very yummy! It wasn't too flaky, but it was airy and not overly sweetened so I really did like it. Would go back and try their actual meals that are on the menu.

Great healthy food with amazing breakfast and some Armenian cuisine - Gata was amazing. Amazing dessert options.

On a recent visit to Los Angeles and specifically Pasadena, I found this gem of a cafe. I travel a lot for work and always like to find a good quality breakfast burrito. This place has lots of options for breakfast burritos. The barista was also able to make a specific coffee for me that wasn't on the menu. Staff were friendly and attentive. I even scored a complimentary cinnamon bun which was delicious. The salads looked good too. Will definitely be back. Relaxing vibe, light colours and fresh decor. If you are looking for a breakfast/lunch spot, check out Art Lunch in Pasadena. Definitely worth it!

If you're looking for a cozy, screen free coffee hangout that feels personal and social friendly…read morespace Two Kids is the spot. We'll definitely be back! It's small and cozy, but that just adds to the charm and creates this intimate, relaxing vibe. Highlights Great public parking behind the shop. The service is fantastic and the two guys that I met were genuinely friendly and makes you feel welcome right away. The shop has a sign saying no laptops inside, and honestly, I loved it. It turns the place into a true social space where people actually talk to each other instead of staring at screens. The seating is thoughtfully arranged facing the windows, so beautiful natural sunlight pours in and gives everything such a warm, uplifting feel. They make their own oat milk in-house, and it makes such a difference our drinks tasted absolutely delicious, rich and smooth. The whole place just has great vibes all around.

The crisp taste of well-brewed coffee and chai is refreshing. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment. Also, this is a "Laptop Free Establishment." They have no available electrical outlets and no customer internet.) I arrived at Two Kids (South Pasadena) on Tuesday (around 12:28PM). Parking is free and available. Two Kids (South Pasadena) is located across from South Pasadena City Hall. There's a competitive, free lot in the rear; it's a "4 Hour Parking Limit." Also, there's available, competitive free street parking. Staff is very mellow, professional, and respectful. Staff politely answered all my questions, and Staff felt very low stress. This location is surprisingly popular, and Staff easily breaks into friendly conversation. My drink took about three minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Espresso w/ Milk & Chai ($6.75 - Iced). The drink is very underwhelming, but it's 1000% better than any chain coffee joint. The Espresso w/ Milk & Chai had a light enduring caffeine, and its flavor is very basic and simple. I would not drive a long distance for these drinks, but if I lived in the immediate area, this business is an easy spot to incorporate into a daily routine. It's affordable and good enough. On ambiance, Two Kids (South Pasadena) happily embraces its "just good enough" features. It lacks many basic amenities; there's no restroom, no customer internet, and no electrical outlets. They proudly have MANY little signs proclaiming how it's a "laptop free establishment." The location is also small; there's about two counter tables and three tiny stool tables. However, Two Kids (South Pasadena) is comfortable. I especially appreciated the air purifier and the strong ventilation. The place felt airy and refreshing. Also, the stereo system is very clear and with chill music. They even had one tiny bottle of hand sanitizer by the counter. It's also very animal friendly since I saw customers walk inside with their dogs on the leash. Overall, Two Kids (South Pasadena) feels built to serve the local community. It's not an impressive spot, but there's glimpses of passion for locals. If you live nearby Two Kids (South Pasadena), I recommend. It's not bad at all. 4.3 out of 5

I once asked the owner about it and he claimed that they do in fact give out items, and said he would check on it that night when I told him the situation. Found seating outside but moved some plates ourselves from one table to another to find shade for us the kiddo. Grabbed a high chair and got seating set up. A few folks were setting up to play music out on the patio. We ordered inside as expected, thankfully the line wasn't too bad at that time so it went smoothly, though the prices are still higher than the average mom/pop sandwich place (but we anticipated this). We waited a bit for food while the patio band played. Ambience was pretty nice. Our friend's sandwich came out first and about 5 minutes later our food came. However, the Arnold Palmer we ordered didn't arrive with the food so we asked if they'd come back to bring it, and we were told they'd be right back. We waited probably another 5 minutes but drink still didn't come so I went inside to ask about it and saw the drink sitting on the back counter. So I asked staff if I could pick up the drink and they handed it over. Our friend's sandwich (the Jester) looked pretty filling while wife and I ordered/shared the Crown Jewel with cheese and mayo on the side. The Crown Jewel was pretty meh overall. Wasn't as stacked as the Jester and the bread fell apart as I ate it, despite the mayo on the side. At the end of eating someone came by to grab our order numbers and ask how things went. I commented on the wait for the drink and was told they couldn't find us, which sounded strange because they found us when bringing the sandwich and we still had our order number. But she said we could get a free refill. Since I wanted to take advantage of the refill I went inside to inquire but the order counter had gotten extremely busy. So I asked one of the bus/wait staff outside if they could grab my refill. He directed me inside and he commented how busy they were but I said I didn't want to wait in the huge line simply for a refill, so he offered to meet me inside to get the refill. Eventually I did receive the refill and we left. Overall, for the price of the food I felt the service was very average bordering on subpar, and the food was meh for the price. I don't blame the staff as they all seemed to be working very hard, but perhaps they were understaffed which would be more of a management issue. We basically bussed a couple tables on our own and waited what eventually amounted to 20-25 minutes for an ice tea/lemonade. I pre-tipped when I bought the food, which I kind of regretted but also felt bad that the employees were understaffed so I likely would have left a tip anyways. I don't plan to go back anytime soon. Wish the food and service were better

The Build: I ordered the banana cream matcha, which features a rich matcha base with standard oat milk, topped with a heavenly layer of banana cream and tiny, mysterious crunchy pieces. The Flavor Profile: Taste-wise, the drink was absolutely heavenly. The matcha itself was wonderfully rich, and mixing in the banana cream took it to the next level, while the crunchy toppings added a really nice occasional texture. The only real letdown was the size, the cup was just so tiny for an $8 price tag. Even though the flavors were incredible, it felt a bit hard to justify the steep cost for such a small portion. The Verdict: While the major price tag means this won't be an everyday habit, the solid flavors and super fast, friendly service make it a perfect spot for a little treat every once in a while. The staff had my drink out almost instantly around 10 AM on a Tuesday, and since I live so close, I'll definitely be back occasionally when I want to spoil myself.
