Tuna salad sandwich (San Marino) was delicious
    Christy C.

Ordered Doordash and my order came quite fast - less than an hour! Got the San Marino sandwich ($23.40) and I was impressed by how big the sandwich was! The bread was so fresh and soft. The tuna salad had huge chunks of tuna and wasn't drenched with mayonnaise like how tuna salad sandwiches usually are at other places. The tuna salad was very delicious and packed with flavor! The veggies (tomato, avocado, and lettuce) were all very fresh. Overall, I really enjoyed the sandwich even though the price was a little pricey but definitely worth it!

The Jester & Peach Oolong Tea (Iced)

Needed a quick sandwich and thought to check out this local spot. We got the Jester and a breakfast burrito and a couple of iced brewed teas. The sandwich was made with fresh, simple ingredients. The chipotle aioli elevated a simple lunch food. Had a bite of the breakfast burrito and the flavours were all there, well seasoned and enough bell peppers to once again elevate, but not outshine. Would have preferred the tortilla a little more toasted. Drinks were solid, there were a wide selection of unsweetened teas. Homey outdoor seating, easy parking, and fast service. Will definitely be back for a quick stop.

There's a small private lot behind the cafe. The entrance is at the corner of the block; there's a sign pointing to a cards it. There's outdoor seating but none inside. It's cozy inside, mostly for waiting. The staff are nice and helpful. I did an online order and it was ready upon checking in. I got the hot lavender matcha latte. It was quite tasty. I got the taste of lavender and the matcha wasn't too sweet. I ended up finishing the latte quickly. I'd like to return for more of the menu!

This is actually just for the situation and not for the food because I have yet to taste my food. Came on a Sunday and there were a couple people in front of us. We ordered two tuna sandwiches and one cold meat sandwich. Can we have 45 minutes later we still hadn't gotten our food. I went up to inquire and they did bring out the sandwich for one of the adults. After another 10 minutes, I went to ask again about the two tuna sandwiches. Which is premade so we should only take two minutes. And I was told they were about to be made. It's been five more minutes now and still no food has arrived. $20 a poo for these sandwiches and this situation is terrible. If you're really backed up then you need to tell people when they order "it's gonna be a 40 minute wait". At the very least when I came up multiple times, they could've offered some chips or a cookie as an apology. But no go. Super disappointing. Update! Got the tuna after 57 minutes Sandwiches were fine tasting. Absolutely would not come back knowing this could be a scenario again.

Placed a pickup order 20 minutes ahead of the suggested pickup time. My order ended up being ready after 15 minutes after the suggested pickup time. We just ordered a breakfast burrito with short rib and chicken pesto sandwich. People were waiting for their food and I was told my order would be ready in 2-3 minutes after I had gotten there. Was waiting inside the store and the workers told me I wasn't allowed to wait inside because it was getting too crowded. Not sure if I just came at a very busy time ( Monday at 1pm) but fiora market wasn't this bad. The burrito was tasty and moderately sized. The plus is that the proportion of tortilla to egg and cheese were balanced and they provided a generous amount of short rib. Worth the additional $8. The sandwich was decent. Bread was soft and had good portion of shredded chicken. TLDR: food portions are fairly sized. Wish suggested pickup time was more accurate.

I finally made it to this shop after having it bookmarked for ages and wow, I'm so glad I did. This corner sandwich joint is truly a hidden gem. I tried a few sandwiches during my visit - the Velvet Dilly (Brisket Pastrami), Burrata Caprese, and Marino (Tuna Salad) and each one had its own unique flavor profile but the Velvet Dilly stole the show. The brisket pastrami was phenomenal because it was tender, smoky and perfectly seasoned. The meat to bread ratio was generous so they definitely don't skimp! Every bite was loaded with hearty slices of pastrami and it's one of those sandwiches where you pause mid-bite because it's just that good! Will come to try other items when I'm nearby.

Crown Jewel, The Jester, Short Rib & Tomato Soup
    Sal C.

Every sandwich was fresh, made with high quality ingredients, and full of flavor. The Jester is basically a loaded turkey club with turkey breast, crispy applewood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar, red onions, greens, tomato, avocado, and a zesty chipotle aioli. It was a perfect balance of classic and elevated. The Crown Jewel had a chicken pesto style with vibrant pesto, creamy stracciatella, and a touch of mayo that brought everything together really well. The Short Rib sandwich was just as impressive, with tender meat on fresh bread, house made pickles, Asian slaw, and chipotle aioli that added a great kick. All the sandwiches had great bread, and every bite delivered. The tomato soup was the cherry on top! Flavortown was definitely present.

Went there for a quite breakfast caffeinated drinks and breakfast burrito. Friendly services, outdoor dining with cozy seating. Cute neighborhood cafe. Got the honey cinnamon latte and chai latte. Both good. Reasonable price for the breakfast burrito and it was good. Good spot if you're in the South Pas area.

I was parked pretty much right next to this spot. Went to get a facial nearby and decided to stop by after. It was surprisingly so delicious. I got the burrito with short ribs and the ribs? Tender and juicy just the way I like it. It was made fresh and steaming hot when it landed on our table. Loved it sm that I will def be back to try their other items. Arnold Parmer was good too, can't really go wrong w that! They only have outdoor patio seating and there's plenty of shade if you're like me that likes to eat outdoors but don't want the sun directly hitting me while I'm trying to eat. Such a cute little vibe! You order and they will bring the food to your table. They're located right on the corner and I didn't see a parking lot for their establishment but I parked on the street and it didn't seem hard to find street parking in the area.

I'm currently on an Italian sandwich kick and this one hits the spot! It had all the musts - crusty bread, salty Italian cold cuts, tangy dressing, and fresh juicy tomatoes. I thought it was an interesting twist to use arugula instead of iceberg lettuce too. There is no inside sitting and only patio seating so it's nice on a day with good weather. I'm so glad I discovered a great sandwich spot in my neighborhood and will definitely be returning!

This cafe used to be Fiore Market Cafe, but cafe was acquired Piccadilly Grace South Pasadena in 2022. The new owner also operates another sister cafe called San Marino Cafe & Marketplace. Fiore Market Cafe ranked #89 in Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat in 2023. The name change happened in late 2024. [Parking]: Customers can only park at visitor parking spots for the private lot adjacent to the cafe. Otherwise it is street parking only, but this is not a super busy street on weekdays so finding a street parking spot shouldn't be an issue. [Atmosphere]: The cafe has a really cute outdoor patio area with a perfect casual first date vibe. Indoor seating is not available at this cafe. [Menu]: They are known for their freshly made homemade bread. Top two of their popular options are Roasted Chicken Sandwich and Short Rib Sandwich. *** Short Rib Sandwich (house-made pickles, Asian slaw, chipotle aioli - $18): HUGE portion - in fact I only ate half sandwich and took the other half back home for dinner. Superb fluffy bread with above average short rib, but I thought Asian slow and chipotle aioli were just alright. *** Their homemade bread certainly lives up the expectation. Some reviewers are mourning about the end of Fiore Market Cafe, but as a 1st time visitor I thought the sandwich tasted above-average (s-tier bread, a-tier short rib, and b-tier slaw/aioli) and hefy sandwich price is somewhat justified with the huge sandwich portion.

I couldn't really taste the yuzu until I tried only the first layer of cream. The matcha overpowers the yuzu a lot because there was two layers of matcha cream and one layer of matcha cake. Still really good and can taste that the matcha is high quality! As for the kinako chestnut, we couldn't taste the chestnut much but there were some chestnut pieces hidden in the cake! Most of the cakes cost $9+ and the sandwiches were $10+! Got the Egg Heaven Sandwich ($13) and it was pretty much an egg salad sandwich. The bread didn't taste fresh and was quite dry. I was expecting the bread to be soft and fluffy but that wasn't the texture at all. The egg salad was quite heavy on mayonnaise and had too much pepper for my preference. Overall, I wasn't impressed with the sandwich unfortunately. The Sunny Side Up (Coconut Mango Mousse Cake) - $9.50 - was delicious! Love how it was nicely packaged in a cute tin! The mango mousse was so creamy and I could tell it was made with sweet mangos! The cake was so moist and fresh. The coconut cream on top made it even more delicious! Definitely recommend! The Tiramisu ($9.50) was so good! It was so creamy and every bite was nicely layered with mascarpone mousse/coffee jelly and topped with cocoa powder. It wasn't too sweet and the cream didn't feel too heavy. The cake was very fresh and soft! Overall, I didn't enjoy the sandwich but the cakes were incredible and definitely worth getting!

While both locations manage a lot of to-go orders, I've found that my orders are completed promptly when I've ordered in person at this newer branch. During my most recent visits I ordered the crispy chicken Caesar wraps, and my experience has varied. While I enjoyed it the first time I ate it, the filling ratio was off the second time (with an inordinate amount of Romaine lettuce compared to chicken). The flavor was lacking on the Taiwanese popcorn chicken basil flavor that it claimed. It reminded me more of a Vietnamese meat pie (pate chaud), which is peppery with a smoother texture that this one did not have, but it was still flavorful. The bread pudding was good but the texture was more dense reminding me of a banana bread loaf.
