Blossom Market Hall in San Gabriel. The place is clean, modern, and has a fun "walk around and pick your spot" kind of vibe. ::Food:: What I liked most was the variety. They have a mix of Filipino, Korean, Mexican, Caribbean, Japanese, and Mediterranean food, plus drinks and dessert, so it's a good spot when everyone wants something different. The food was good overall, but some vendors stood out more than others. ::Customer Service:: Some were super friendly and quick, others were more "order, pick up, next." ::M's Notes:: - Indoor and outdoor seating - Parking lot

It was difficult to find parking on the weekend. The inside was pretty cramped. It was formerly a church auditorium but now there are mini restaurants inside. The Filipino pancit was okay; lots of carrots and celeries. Barely any chicken. It took a while to get the food. Not sure why since there were only 3 customers. The portion was big enough to feed 2, so the price wasn't too bad. It's more expensive than the other Filipino take out places tho. Rolland sushi was good! Thick pieces of fish and they were fresh! There was also an acai bowl place that my friend frequently goes to.

    No a/c at 5pm on a Saturday.

There aren't many food options at this "market" at all. We walked across the street to Luna's, where we knew the Mexican food would be good. I got a hojicha latte at the first tea shop to the right and the hojicha was pretty strong (not watered down), which I appreciate. I'd give them 4.5 stars. The second floor is supposed to be good for studying, but there's no a/c, so it was hot and only 2 other people wanted to be here. Lastly, the parking lot was closed off- and we can see a lot of parking spaces. Hmm. We parked across the street where there is free public parking, but not sure this place warrants close to 5 stars for what it is. I would not go out of my way to come here.

I have read some amazing Yelp reviews about Blossom Market Hall (BMH) located at the heart of San Gabriel Mission District in no other than the City of San Gabriel. I took the opportunity to come here with my eldest daughter for an almost half day visit. BMH has been opened since December 2021. This was our first time here. I parked on the streets a couple blocks down from this food hall. At the time, I didn't know they had free parking behind the building. Now I do. I wasn't expecting a huge place since everyone has mentioned it's relatively small which I confirm as well. Simply gorgeous white and black exterior. Quaint and cozy interior. Beautiful and colorful ceiling with floral designed murals. Downstairs is where all the food/drink/dessert vendors share the small space. Upstairs (for meeting, art, wifi) is more like a quiet loft where people can meet, study, and do homework. Inside stool and table/chair seating along with limited outside patio seating are available. Restrooms are near the front entrance downstairs. I did see one all gender restroom upstairs. There are about 13 businesses who reside at this food hall. We were able to support 5 of them during our first visit. Good variety of different cuisines with tasty drinks and delicious desserts. Thank you all! *Almuchow ATBP *Baking With Ish *Bar Blossom *Cafe Et Cetera (has closed its doors unfortunately) *Caribbean Gourmet *Honey & Hive *Jasmine Creamery (2nd stop) *La Olla Cocina (4th stop) *Lotus & Bean (1st stop) *Manduyo (5th stop) *Sushi Rolland *Tim's Thai Tea *Wahib's Mediterranean (3rd stop) Before coming here, do check each business open hours. Certain vendors may have different hours compared to the food hall hours. The entire food hall is closed on Mondays and open on Sun - Thurs: 11am - 8pm, Fri & Sat: 11am - 9pm. If you haven't visited BMH as of yet, please drop on by to support your neighborhood food hall. We'll definitely be back to try the other vendors. See you here!

Decent little food hall near San Gabriel's historic mission - it's not as large as others in the SGV but has enough variety to keep it interesting and it's a great location. Out of the 13 local vendors, Sushi Rolland is probably our fave - they have fantastic sushi - always fresh and tasty! The lumpia is decent from Almuchow too. Lotus & Bean has delicious lattes and interesting seasonal drink menus. There's Mexican food, Mediterranean food, a bar, and several other food genres as well. For dessert you'll find ice cream, shaved ice, baked goods and bubble teas - surprising variety for the size of the hall. The hall itself often has live entertainment, art exhibits, and they have rooms to reserve for private events. All the staff have always been friendly and warm. I loved the decor inside - very vibrant and lively with lots of communal seating and more intimate seating throughout - as well as several patio areas for outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. The market hall is located inside a vintage Masonic Lodge from the 1940s. Parking is free and ample in the private lot and the area is very walkable. Exploring the historic mission next door is a great way to walk off dinner and dessert!

Lovely addition to SGV. Plenty of parking and honestly one of the better places to go if you're in the area and you have a diverse group of people who all want to eat something different from one another and you don't want to eat at the mall. They also have a lot of community based and oriented events which is nice. There's a small stage and there's an upstairs area too. I remember going here once and they had a small cat themed art gallery with artists selling their goods upstairs, that was very nice. Also every time that I've gone the bathrooms were clean, another score! A lot of vendors have changed hands around here, no more Spotless Burgers, Oy Oysters, Circle Tea Bar, Angel & Mason, Rori's, tenseven rolls, Burnt Belly, etc. but I feel like those spots don't remain closed for too long and the others have been great staples of the food hall like Manduyo (they have a stamp card and you can get frozen dumplings to make at home) or AK Fresh Roast. It's not a bad spot if you are already in the area and don't want to travel far. You can also take a tour of the San Gabriel Mission or go shopping at Paper Cola too.

Since this is a food hall, it's difficult to write reviews for each specific place. The overall experience was really nice. There were four of us, two had the Caribbean food, one of us had the Mediterranean food and I had Filipino food. I had lumpia and pansit. Both of them were well prepared. The lumpia came with the classic red sauce for dipping. The noodles were tasty with chicken and vegetables. From the Caribbean place one of us had oxtails and the other had chicken curry. Both were reportedly delicious. My friend who had the Mediterranean food got a wrap. She said it was good. She also got a couple of pieces of baklava. I've never had baklava like that. There was something in the middle, something like halva. I enjoyed it. It wasn't too sweet. Three of us had Thai tea. The man working there was not very pleasant, bordering on rude. The drinks were OK, sort of weak. I saw a lot of people taking to go food. Definitely a nice place to swing by and get maybe a beer, some wine or Soju. There's lots of seating inside and out. The parking area was pretty large, but somewhat hard to find.

What a great small market located in the heart of San Gabriel. There is ample parking spots adjacent to the market, in addition to street parking. The market is very clean and has plenty of seating. The place is cozy and well lit. There is an art exhibit in the second floor. They have both elevator and stairs. Restrooms are available too. It is a great market to explore various cuisine, boba place, ice cream shop and more. There are many vendors there, to mention a few: -Lotus& Bean (drink & dessert) - Baking with Ish (Bakery) -Manduyo (Korean Cuisine) -Sushi Rolland (Japanese Cuisine) -Caribbean Gourmet (Caribbean Cuisine) -La olla Cocina (Mexican Cuisine) -Almucho Filipino Gourmet Food (Filipino Cuisine) -Tim's Thai Tea (Thai Filipino dessert Boba) -Wahib Mediterranean (Mediterranean Cuisine) -Honey & Hive (Açai bowl & smoothie) So far, I visited Blossom Market a couple of times since the beginning of the year, and I always have such an outstanding experience. I really spent wonderful times exploring many cuisines and their delicious dishes. It is fun to visit Blossom Market. It is my new favorite market for this year

Blossom Market Hall is a really fun spot with a great mix of food, drinks, and overall vibes. One of my favorite parts was the upstairs area, which has a decent number of tables and works well for studying or hanging out. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but that comes with the convenience of having so many options in one place. There's a large parking lot, so parking is usually easy, though if you come right at opening it might not be open yet and street parking fills up quickly. Overall, it's a convenient location with a lot to offer, just expect higher prices.

I love this food court, although it's small it wasn't busy when I went and they have a good variety of food i went to this sushi place and I ordered a bento box that comes with high quality salmon that melted in my mouth and it was only 27 bucks and it lasted me two meals! Also there's an upstairs where you can study at and I love that there's free wifi and there's plenty of seating. The only thing that sucks is that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable, but other than that I love the blossom Market hall!

Great place with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Parking is available in the street or in the lot of the mission, it can be tricky on weekends but parking usually isn't an issue. You can enter through the back without stairs or the front with stairs. There's an upstairs with more seating and an elevator next to the restrooms. We wanted to come here to explore inside as well as look at options for brunch. They have selections from baked goods to beverages to meals to desserts. You can choose from Vietnamese coffee at the front entrance to halo halo at the center, then you can take a short turn to get ice cream at the creamery and then back to the entrance for baked goods. If you're feeling a bit healthy you can get a superfood bowl full of fresh fruits. Meals from Filipino dishes to Korean to Mediterranean to Caribbean. There's a variety of places to get your taco cravings and then crepes for breakfast cravings. Then again, if you're in a grownup mood, you can hangout at the bar at night to get some drinks and watch the game on their tv. I think it's a great place to try different dishes and not need to go far! The place is kept very clean, staff tend to the restrooms regularly and even clean the tables when people are done eating.

Ask the Community - Blossom Market Hall

Is there a strong wi-fi connection?

I had good connection upstairs where there are open tables.

This place is listed today as having outdoor seating. Is it still available? If it is, is it covered or heated? How many people can sit there? / April 8, 2023

Yes, there is still outdoor seating. Most of it is at the back patio, some in alley, and a few tables at the front entrance. Most of the back patio seating is covered. There are approximately 30 seats at the back patio. Depending on the time you…

What holidays is the market hall closed?

Easter Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day through New Year's Day

    Do they allow dog's?

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor patio area. Just not inside the food hall except for service animals. Be sure to stop by the ice cream vendor to get a Chilli Pup treat for your dog. 🐶

Will they be open on Memorial Day?

    Yes, open on Memorial Day!

Any recommended foods to try? Thank you!

We're biased, but we recommend everything! :) Definitely take a look through our tagged photos on Instagram to see some of what visitors have been loving lately!

Is there good spots where I can sit outside and study?? And of course I will buy food there lol

Yes! They have a bunch of outdoor seating but I'm not sure how good the wifi is out there if you need it. They have lots of indoor seating with plugs as well.

Can I host a salsa dancing party on the 2nd floor on a Saturday night? About 30-40 people.

    Please contact hello@blossommarkethall.com to inquire

Why was the public parking closed in the back on a Saturday? Parking is an issue here, I tried to eat here but couldn't because there was no parking

Is there enough seating to eat there? Or do people take food to go?

Hi! We have several tables on the main level for seating, plus an outdoor patio area. We also have a wifi lounge upstairs, and additional stadium style seating which overlooks the main area downstairs. There are also benches lining the side of the…

    Is it dog friendly?

No, I don't think they allow pets. It's a pretty small food hall compared to other ones and there's a few tables for outdoor seating by the entrance that gets you through to the parking lot.
