Many color options!
Annette O.

First time checking out this place as a walk-in. They helped me immediately. You have to call their number they'll have you come in and immediately wash your hands. Pick your color and your set. With covid they are also adding a 5 dollar up charge to any service. Got a mani & pedi, pretty good job

What i got versus what i wanted

They lady that was doing my nails was very rough and in a hurry she made my Cuticles bled i showed her a picture of what I wanted was even close to what i asked for.

The nails I left with, note the dried blood and the dry hands (normally leave with moisturized hands)...no pink gel

I have been here a few times and recently went to another nail salon as I wasn't very satisfied with my nails appearance from Art nails. Typically I bring in a picture I found on the internet and ask what we can do to make my nails like the picture. This time, I did the same thing but was treated like I was a burden for asking for nails I wanted (&I was willing to pay for, of course). Today's experience put the final nail in the coffin. I will never come back to this nail salon. I asked for a pink, natural looking color with a thin metallic silver tip. I left the salon with silver glitter on my tips and messily strewn through my nails. The tips were done by hand with glitter paint; it looked uneven and messy. Like usual, I asked for the gel overlay and I paid for it (up charge for a manicure that drew blood and the silver tip)! $70 later, my nails looked like I let my kid sister do them. My technician was very distracted while she was doing my nails. Not only did she draw blood when doing the manicure, she almost cut off the pad of my thumb. I also had to ask her for rubbing alcohol to ensure I wouldn't get an infection from this salon. I left the salon very upset and had an appointment to make after getting my nails done. After paying $70 for my nails, I returned asking if my technician could fix them so they could be something I actually liked. She said she would, and well this was the end result... they look better but please note that she removed the gel I paid so much for, to replace it with gel polish. Had she offered to refund and properly charge me for the nails I now have, I would have told her to keep the difference for being nice enough to fix them and make the look professionally done. She didn't. Nonetheless, I have attached the picture of what I asked for and what I left with. Attend at your own risk! They get two stars from me because they got my nails to look closer to what I asked for originally.

Great place! My pedicure was enjoyable and looks great! Reasonable price wise. I will definitely go back again.

I opted for the deluxe which comes with everything the basic does plus a scrub, marine mask, and hot towel wrap. Amy did my pedicure. She was attentive and pleasant! She did a pretty good job with my cuticles and polish, which are 2 things I'm very particular about. As far as pricing, it was pretty expensive, $98 after tax and tip, not to mention I did bring my own gel polish. It was later brought to my attention that the deluxe pedi with gel is advertised as $60 on their menu so I'm not sure why I was charged $75 before tax and tip. Overall, I was satisfied with my service. In the future, I'll ask to soak longer since it was pretty quick from the time they filled my bowl and I put my feet in the water until the time she began my pedi.

The tech that took me was not very talkative but I was ok with that. However, once I explained to him what I needed, color change -no fill- and to touch up the shape. Back story, I had just had a refill the week before but I was wanting a new color. What he did say tell me is that, when he painted my nails it would be bumpy and when I went to go pay he didn't want to hear me complain about. He burned the side of my finger with his tool and pushed my hand away each time he wanted me to put under the light. It was just a very off putting experience which I've never had there before. I won't be back.

I tried this place twice hoping that the first time was a fluke. Both times just needed gel polish…read moreremoval from my fingernails. I just went again today, and same thing. Disappointing. The first time they removed the polish and it was fine, but the nails were all cut different lengths and filed like shit. He also tried to overcharge me, but I just so happened to be looking at the service menu and asked about pricing which he said oh my bad it was an accident. I don't believe that. He tried to charge me $16 for a $10 service. Today was 50/50. Gel removal overall was fine. Decently gentle, but it was the cuticle removal that got me. It was painful and he cut me several times on different cuticles of several fingers, but took a literal CHUNK of my cuticle off. My fingers was gushing blood and it was incredibly painful. He was plucking cuticles from under my nail. So unnecessary. The arm massage at the end was short but nice. I'll give him that. I did ask for a manicure this time (clean up no polish). The nail filing was same as last (uneven and shitty), so I went home and fixed them myself. I was charged $33 for all of this plus $3 tip I added bc I felt bad. Also won't go back here, but it seems like there are no good nail salons in town. Every single one has terrible reviews, and I see why. We're doomed.

He kept pausing to watch his game on the phone. He then asked if I wanted a callus removal, 10 extra dollars. I said ok. Blurts out LOUDLY about how much callus was on my feet and starts speaking Chinese! He kept mentioning how bad my feet looked and ths other customer getting her nails done looked at me and i fave a face if embarrassment & told him he was embarrassing me and to quit. He played it off then kept talking to the female tech in Chinese more than likely talking #%%^. Then the last if of pedi, kpt blurting how sexxy my feet looked and much better. Check out time, the female tech tells me 75.00!!!!! I asked y?! I wanted the basic 40.00 plus the callus removal, 50.00. Oh well you chose Shallac Gel. I said no i didnt!!! He said pk a color i did and hd no idea it was a "shallac gel" color. We were arguing and they dropped the price. Effing Rip off place and horrible customer service. Wanna be embarrassed?! Go here

I walked into this establishment with high expectations, only to be disappointed the moment I sat…read moredown. The technician who did my nails was easily the rudest person I've encountered in this industry. When I explained how I wanted my nails, he essentially ignored me. From start to finish, the experience was terrible. I asked for an overlay on my natural nails, but he immediately reached for the clippers to cut them. I had to repeat that I wanted an overlay and a square‑round shape. He rolled his eyes, picked up his phone, and carried on a conversation. When he came back, it was obvious he had very little experience with the drill--the pressure he used was completely unacceptable. Then I noticed he was applying acrylic starting at the tip of my nail and working backward, doing this twice per nail. When I asked whether my nails would be even, he acted like I was asking too much and muttered, "yeah, sure." When he began filing, it was obvious the nails were uneven, and the shape was oval instead of the square‑round shape I had specifically requested. I finally took the emery board myself to show him what I meant. He told me--multiple times--that there were plenty of other salons I could go to and that I didn't have to come back. Despite everything, I let him finish because it felt too late to walk out. He repeated at least three more times that I could go elsewhere, including when I paid him $60 for what was essentially a $7-quality job. Considering all four salons in this city have ratings between 2 and 3 stars, I told him he would never see another dime from me. Do NOT go here. The customer service is awful! If I had the option to give negative 10 stars I would! This place needs to be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!

I have been coming to Janae for 3 years now. She is such a sweet soul with so much talent. I always…read morefeel so welcomed when I walk into the salon. Breck (Janae's husband) is also such a warm person to be around. The shop is quiet, clean and peaceful. I always leave feeling better than when I initially walked in. Janae truly listens to what I want/need. Even if her schedule is packed I send her a message hoping for a spot. She has accommodated my crazy schedule and I really appreciate her flexibility and creativity.

Veteran Owned Business!!!!…read more I first discovered Breck when he was a barber at the local chop shop. On my first visit, I knew he was a man with a future. He had a vision for a full service barber shop, one that met the needs of the professional, business community, while still servicing the needs of the ordinary client. Within a few months of my first haircut, he opened his own shop, and now he and his wife operate the Alamogordo Grooming Company. (His wife is a beautician and he is a barber.) Breck wanted to break away from the ordinary, and set himself as a cut above. He offers a full array of barber services, including shaves, and even has a hot wax option, for those with special needs. He had a neck and shoulder massager, and still does the hot towel and neck trim, while offering intelligent conversations about any topic of your choice. Or, he'll let you sit quietly. Your choice! He won't hijack you while you're in his chair. He is a master with razor cuts--both electronic and straight, can handle clippers like no one else, BUT, his true strength is his ability to command a pair of scissors! He is as old school as possible, and he relishes the days when a barber was considered a gentleman whose skills set him apart from his competition. His business is expanding, and he now has three chairs! Not bad, for a guy who used to rent a space in a corner shop. He'll never settle for the standard, he'll always seek out the newest trends, and he has his eyes on the horizon. I promise--give him a try and you'll never be satisfied with any other barber. he's THAT good! #todaysdiscovery
