It also helps if you're going during a less busy time. Overall, I think it's a reasonable car wash and I appreciate that they give you a free wash after a certain number of washes and that they track that automatically through your license plate so you don't need to make any sort of account. The areas I was showing had nothing to do with carpet shampoo. At the end, they did offer to clean the car again, but by that point I felt uncomfortable with the way the situation had been handled, so I declined. If they had simply said, "Yes, it looks like we missed these areas. Let us take care of them right away," I honestly would have had no problem at all. Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that some spots can be overlooked. My disappointment was not just about the missed areas; it was mainly about how my concern was initially handled and how I was made to feel as though I was asking for something that wasn't included in the service. He and his team do a wonderful job and I am very confident with his work all the time. I have the Ceramic Sealant to protect the paint from rock chips and make tire marks easy to remove. My only concern is I've heard rumors from friends that Auto Pride may be moving to a machine wash system. Not a fan of machine washed cars. It's the only hand wash car business in the mid-peninsula that I know of. It will be a sad day if Auto Pride moves to a machine washing or touchless system. I'm hoping not to go back to washing my own cars.

What I don't accept is doing it after the customer has already stated what they want, especially when the customer is not following the pitch. Once he agreed to the basic wash, that should have been the transaction. Auto Pride is a car wash, not a detailing shop. Charging detailing prices for a wash and relying on confusion to get there is taking advantage of people.

All you have to do is pull in and one of the employees will direct you to one of the 3 washing stalls. Then the 2-3 people will start hand washing your car. Then you just pull around to the drying/vacuuming area. If you just want the outside done you can stay in your car. If you want the inside and outside done just hop out and leave the door open. $21 you get the following: - Exterior Wash and Dry - Tire Shine - Interior Vacuum - Clean interior windows - Wipe down dash and other interior parts - All done in less than 10mins Pros: - Fast (10mins or less) - Efficient - Affordable ($21 for inside/outside. $11 for just outside) - Accepts Credit Card or Cash Cons: - My only complaint is slight swirl marks - I think some of the wash mitts might not be rinse out well enough between cars. - I'm sure this is probably an easy fix for them but as of now your car might get some swirl marks.
