I had an issue but I was satisfied with how it was resolved. I paid for a premium exterior detailing service. I watched the guy drop his red rag then pick it up and keep using it. I have a Honda prologue and my dog did some slobber on the seat so I asked when they were cleaning it if they could wipe the seat and this woman came over and I think her name is Alycia And she said no we are not doing that we need shampoo and it's $50 for one seat. She was so rude and belligerent. I just finally went over and took a red rag and wiped it myself and also the side of the door. She wanted $50 for one seat and for four seats it's $200 she said. I thought they wiped the interior of the car with a damp rag but she said no we only do dusting. Anyway this is why they one star review but it's not a reflection on everybody else it's her. Came here mainly to get the interior of my truck cleaned, and they literally left it exactly the same. No wipe down, no detail, nothing. It honestly looks like they only washed it from the outside. I pointed it out to the guy working there and he said he "cleaned it," but it still looked untouched. Same dust, same spots -- no difference. What makes it worse is I paid $45 + $10 tip, and I didn't even check before leaving (my mistake). I just paid $40 for their "Supreme Wash." Pretty pricey and I was expecting better. Unfortunately, as I got into the car - just a few months old - I could see the area by the gas and brake pedals was absolutely filthy. This is the photo I took at the car wash when the attendant gave me the car. I immediately complained to the manager who told me that cleaning that area would cost extra. I said, "more than the $40 I just paid for your Supreme Wash?" I was incredulous that she could say that with a straight face. I asked her how she could return a car to me in that condition? She just shrugged and walked away. I understand that a car wash can sometimes miss stuff - it happens. But when a customer points out something so clearly missed, you fix it. I've been going to this place for years. I recently went to have my truck washed and found out they don't do mats anymore unless you ask and pay. The truck was still completely dirty . I had to ask them to clean the bugs off the grill and the side windows 2 times and they didn't get it very clean both times. The interior was filthy. Drove in today for a wash and made me remember why I no longer go here. Got home and literally had to rewash my car. There was dirt, bird poop, stains. And it wasn't hard to remove dirt which tells me they put no effort into it. The inside looked as if they didn't touch it either. I'll better do it at home next time. read more

I just brought my Tesla 2022 in to get washed and accidentally scratched my front left wheel. When I called them on it they stood behind the damage. I am extremely happy and thankful that they took ownership of it. As it turns out, I got an estimate from Americas Tire and they issued me a check to cover it. I am getting my new wheel replaced on Monday of next week. Going forward I will remain a subscriber to Auto Pride but I will use the Palo Alto location as it is less likely to happen there as it is a strait shot into the washing area. We've been coming to Auto Pride for years and they consistently do an amazing job. You drive up to the car wash station and let the attendant know what you'd like. It can be a simple car wash to something a little more high touch with a hand wash, or something more epic like a full interior and exterior clean. Their operation is pretty crazy. They have a whole team of folks outside hand washing the cars. It's a sight to behold. They'll usually tell you approximately how long it'll take. Depending on what you've requested, you can choose to wait it out on a few benches outside. They have a little convenience shop inside where you can purchase various tchotchkes or snacks. A Snickers ice cream bar is our usual indulgence of choice here on a hot day. Alternatively, you can leave and come back later. We don't live too far away so sometimes my husband will drive me home. Nearby is Safeway and a few eateries so sometimes I get some groceries done and grab a bite somewhere. They do a fantastic job cleaning the cars by the way. Every time it comes back nearly spotless inside and out. Recently during the heatwave I accidentally spilled an entire Venti Starbucks matcha green tea latte with milk on the floor. Not only did it seep through the removable carpet, but it went into the non-removable carpeting below. They somehow vacuumed and shampooed it so well that there were no smelly trace of my blunder. I was really worried the milk would sour under the hot sun but nope, clean as a whistle and smells fresh. Phew! The pricing is a little steep compared to a regular car wash, but then again there's nothing regular about Auto Pride. They're amazing and we no doubt will continue to utilize their services for years to come. read more

Auto pride has locations all over the area and I typically visit this one when I'm in the area. I get a basic interior vacuum and exterior wash for $30 which is a decent value. They're usually not as crowded as the San Jose location and they are pretty fast with getting your car cleaned in a timely fashion. Sometimes they don't clean certain parts of the inside as well as I'd like them to however, once you tell them, they immediately fix it. Everyone there is very nice and respectful. read more

This review is not a general one, rather, it is regarding Auto Pride's resolution of a particular issue: I'd parked my minivan in a certain spot for a few weeks, and when I went to move it, I discovered it was covered in what appeared to be brown tree droppings. I used simple green and microfiber cloth to try to remove it but was not able to thoroughly clean it -- it would remove a surface layer of the gunk, but there was a lower layer resolutely stuck to the van's (white) paint. I went over to Auto Pride, because they offer "detailing", and talked with them. After checking whether their special materials could indeed clean it, they agreed to do so. I think the person who primarily did the work and/or supervised it was Dan. It took them about four or five hours. But I am very happy with the result, and will avoid parking in that spot for long periods again. ( it cost $250 to clean it (they also cleaned the interior)) read more

I usually go to another spot, but this location is close to my job. The line was long, but Auto Pride is pretty quick! I waited for about 20 minutes. I used a $5 off Yelp coupon on the platinum special. According to their signage and website, by paying for the Platinum Special, I was supposed to get 100% Hand Washed, Rainbow Conditioner, Clear Coat Sealant, Air Freshener, Interior Dressing, Exterior Dressing, Tire Dressing, Non-Acidic Wheel Cleaning, All Glass is Cleaned Inside and Out, Vacuum All Floors and Seats, Dust Every Dash and Console The exterior was pretty good. Someone threw a piece of gum on my car, and I was hoping they'd get it off. Nope! The gum is still there. The interior was still yucky. They didn't wipe out the cup holders, and there was still dust and junk in the crevices of every part of my car. Also, I didn't get an air freshener! Maaaan! I really wanted that! The hard work of the employees here is appreciated. I've been bringing my cars here (and now my employers vehicles) for over 10 years and they do a good job. I also used to shop in the gift shop a lot while waiting for my cars. But I'm forced to change car washes now for one reason: The gift shop places heavily scented perfume diffusers out in the shop which are overwhelming and trigger allergic reactions and migraines. I can't avoid it- I have no choice but to go inside to pay for the Carwash. It literally makes me ill (and I'm not alone). I've mentioned it several times but there's been no change. I notified them of the issue and they refused to take accountability, implying that I arrived with the damaged door and was trying to get them to pay for it. They refused after a "video review", notifying me that they couldn't have possibly caused the damage. However, I saw their video and it was low resolution with major blind spots. I've been a customer of Auto Pride for several years. They usually did an okay job, though never fully got off bug splatter and the like. Now I'll never go back. Today, an hour ago, my paint job damaged on a new BMW X6M Competition. Unfortunately this company chipped my passenger door paint on my new BMW. It wasn't there before the visit. I'm obssevie about my paint job and was furious to have this happen. The chip goes all the way to the metal and can be seen from 20 feet away since the rest of the car has no paint damage. It will be at least a few hundred dollars to repaint. It appears that one of the workers opened my door into a pole or another car door was opened into it. Never going back. read more

There was dust scuffs from boots on the inside of the doors and the tire wells needed rinsing. This went on for months that I would ask and it would not be done. Even before I became a member of the car wash, which I highly recommend because it's totally worth it, I thought the service was sometimes exceptional no and sometimes subpar. But ever since Lee, the manager came on board at this location. The service has been stellar and if for some reason, something didn't come out right. He professionally quietly And smoothly resolves it and just makes everything better. All of the employees are assets, but Lee is a star too! The other person I want to recognize is Cynthia.
