I originally picked Heads Will Roll to do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. Due to Covid restrictions and limited capacity, I couldn't go to their salon. Instead, Sarah from Heads Will Roll assigned me to one of their stylists, Kristina, who also works at Artform Salon. There was constant communication with Sarah and she made sure I filed out the right forms, answered my questions, and always followed up with me. I got to Artform around 9:30. Fortunately I was the only one there as they only do appointments for Monday. Kristina was an absolute joy to work with! I was pretty nervous because I haven't had any serious hair and make up done in a very long time but she made me feel right at home. Kristina's a great storyteller and such a warm personality. She always made sure I was comfortable. I showed her reference pictures on how I wanted my hair to look and I also brought my own decorative hair pins. It came out great. Makeup was a bit tricky. We couldn't do a full glam look because I told her that I would be mostly wearing my mask for the wedding. So all of the glam work had to be done for my eyes. We were done in about 2 hours, which gave me enough time to back and prepare for the wedding. Kristina did such a great job that my husband couldn't believe how different I looked when I came home! I originally had thin gold frame eyeglasses to wear for the wedding but I switched to my regular glasses at the last minute to kinda soften the glam makeup. As expected, most of my makeup got rubbed off in my mask. I kept a lip gloss handy for pictures. My hair and make up lasted the rest of the afternoon and evening. I highly recommend working with Kristin from Artform Salon as well as Heads Will Roll! read more

I'm so glad I found this place. My Yelper's never steer me wrong! I had a stylist for years that I loved that recently moved, and all the other salons in this area are overpriced and pretentious. Worst blowout ever. So I called the salon to make an appt and asked how much for a blowout. She said $35. I said wow that's great. I then get there and Nina greets me and said come get your hair washed. She not once stated your hair will need "extra hot tool" and it will be additional $10 lol. So let's get to the blow dry. I asked her to air dry my hair a little so there is no heat damage. She says it's ok your hair will be fine. I then notice she is using the blow dryer without the nozzle piece on it to help tame the hair and help make the blowout smooth and frizz free. She then states it broke and she didn't get another one. I'm like how do u plan on getting the frizzes down. She says with a hot tool flat iron. I'm like that's normal but it was so frizzy she couldn't fix it bc of how she blew out my hair poorly. I then tell her this is the incorrect way to blow dry a persons hair that has curly hair. She tells me she has been in buisness for 10yrs and I shouldn't tell her how to do MY HAIR and if I wanted it done a certain way why not do it myself. I mean talk about rude and poor customer service. She then hit me with the oh it's $45. I'm like what. Ridiculous. She is like well u can go to a place more expensive for $66 next time. I told her I would have rather that if I was getting my hair done properly. Never again. Do not go here. They fool with lower prices. But u clearly get what you pay for. In this case a broken blow dryer and a hair stylist that doesn't care about her customer satisfaction. read more
