I had a chicken garden salad with French dressing, it was a good size, the other five people had various dishes that all looked tasty. I really liked the way the place was laid out, dark woods, cozy. My only complaint would be the old-fashioned I ordered, it was pretty small for $15 bucks. I guess I should know better trying to get a mixed drink in a restaurant these days. I switched to an IPA that came in a pint glass, cold and yummy, I had two. We will be back!!

We were seated right away and our server was super helpful and had great recommendations. The menu is huge and everything sounded really good. They feature some things that you don't see elsewhere in town, like the Cudighi, which is a Yooper classic! Nate ordered that and I got the firecracker salmon bowl. I really enjoyed the food - the salmon bowl was a good portion and very fresh. I liked the veggies and the flavor was Asian-inspired. The Cudighi sandwich is basically a pizza sub with a spicy sausage patty that's been baked in mustard. It's unique and interesting, and Nate enjoyed it. We don't get to the NW side of town that often, but I would make a special trip to visit Roasted again. They have weekly specials and features, and a Saturday prime rib dinner!

The servers were moving fast trying to take care of all the tables!! The drink menu is good but I was disappointed in the draft craft beer selection. I opted for a canned beer. Our appetizer came out quickly which was the feta dip. It was amazing and served with some delicious breads and veggies! We split the chicken Schwarma which had excellent flavor. The chicken and rice were moist and tasty. It came with grilled vegetables and humus with a huge piece of pita. More than enough for us both. Taziki sauce added to the experience. The menu is primarily middle eastern with a few exceptions. Katie was our server and she did a great job.

I ordered a margarita and it was lackluster, tasting of mostly bitter sour mix more than anything else. For food the sexy fries ended up feeling not so sexy, but rather greasy because of the cheese on top. They still tasted great though. The nachos with gyro meat was delicious, and the nachos are pita bread like a deconstructed gryo sandwich. The feta dip was also yummy especially on the assortment of veggies and breads paired with it. Noticed they serve a brunch and happy hour on the way out, so would definitely come back to this place and try a different drink and an entree next time as the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nate and I recently stopped in to try some of their new food menu and seasonal drinks. The new drink menu is Japanese themed, so we were excited since we went to Japan earlier this year. I got the alpenglow and Nate got the spicy margarita. Both were delicious and beautiful. We also got some happy hour snacks - the dijon sesame salad and the savory cream cheese wontons. Their happy hour is a great deal and I'd love to come back soon for that again. The salad was fresh and a big portion to share. The raw diced onion wasn't my favorite addition to the salad, but I did love the overall flavors. The savory cream cheese wontons were absolutely delicious - definitely very savory and crispy. I'd get these every time! The vibe inside at happy hour was pretty quiet but it can get packed as it's not a huge space. I am so glad that General Wood Shop is here and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

As a queer person, we have to protect our spaces by supporting them. The care that the staff lures into this place truly shows. The rotating menu, the affordable drink options, the ambiance and the way they truly take suggestions from their patrons. They have a new patio addition which has made the smaller spot feel larger aswell. Last fall, I came in on a whim by myself. Callie was my bartender (love), and they were deciding what to do with some Sloe Gin. Thus the "Femme Fatale" was born, there's something magical about watching a craft cocktail come together. Something even more magical about being able to NAME a cocktail at your favorite watering hole. GW is truly a beautiful addition to GR.

I was with a large group, so I got to sample a number of tapas, which were ordered for the table. I loved the Iberico Pork Belly, and the Wild Boar Empanadas. I thought the Croquetas and the Patatas Bravos were good, though there are other things I'd order in the future. I thought the Ceviche Mixta was ok, though I'm not usually a fan of ceviche, and this was better than most. My least favorite was the Pulpo a la Gallega. While the octopus was tender, it had an unpleasant fishy flavor. I got the Chuletas de Cordero for a main course, and was so happy with the dish. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. I really liked the chickpea topping. My only quibble was the dried apple slices added nothing to the dish. They had an unpleasant chewy texture, little flavor, and didn't add to the aesthetics. I would order this again in a heartbeat. I ordered the Árbol de Frambuesa, and it was an amazing dessert. The chocolate souffle was thicker and creamier than I expected, but it was so delicious! I don't want to ruin the surpise of this dish by describing how it looked. I would also order this again.

We got the pickle tickle as well as the Southern raw fries (more like deep fried spiral cut potatoes) which were both good. I got the nachos since I tend to get them whenever I go and all were very good. My daughter is vegetarian and they had lots of vegetarian options. Service was good and quick. All 5 stars. They even have their own canned root beer. How cool is that. Unfortunately it was a little too sweet with maple syrup/molasses taste for me (to be fair the waitress forewarned me about the fair. But why not try their signature root beer. I don't regret it one bit). My only issue, which is out of their control was that the parking lot was packed on a Saturday 6pm, so we had to find street parking down the road.
