Salisbury Steak Dinner
Eric D.

An old favorite revisited with out-of-town family. The food has always been creative and tonight I had their take on a TV Dinner. It was even better than my childhood memories of Salisbury steak, veggies and a chocolate brownie. And elegantly served on a metal plate. I had to take a dance break in the fun and musical disco restroom. Our server was very attentive and offered us shelter as a passing storm knocked out the lights for a moment. Great care and attention. Everyone had a great time and I can't wait to get back again.

I love the Electric Cheetah. I don't often come down to this part of GR, so visiting this restaurant is always a treat for me. They have fun drink and menu item names. This place is well worth the price for the food, service, and ambiance.

An ecclectic restaurant in a fun, walkable area of Grand Rapids offering a variety of root beers. This spot is fun! Their waitstaff matches the energy of their restaurant name: friendly, excitable, and a bit weird (in a good way). Honestly, the recipe ideas make every dish sound appealing, and they go through menu changes quarterly ensuring a fresh experience for their guests each visit. My only constructive criticism is the quality of ingredients. The ingredients did not match the quality of the recipe ideas or the prices for them. Nonetheless, I will be back next time I visit Grand Rapids!

My husband and I went here for dinner Sunday night with friends for the first time. As new residents in GR we wanted to try this place as we have heard good things. The interior has an eclectic feel and a chill atmosphere. The decor is interesting and definitely catches your eye! The hostess was friendly and seated us right away. Shortly after our waitress came over and took our drink and food orders. The menu has a variety of options. I got a combo of grilled cheese and tomato soup. My husband got the reuben with fries. Both of us were satisfied with our meal but not overly impressed by any means. We shared an oatmeal chocolate cookie for dessert and that was probably our favorite part. It was delicious! Overall we had a good experience but I'm not sure we would go to this place again.

The decorations are cute and the staff are great! The food is also decent with a variety of funky options! I will mention that they don't have any of their house made root beers on tap anymore- that's what I enjoyed so

We were visiting Grand Rapids for the day (family of four with a 12 and 15 year old) and were looking for a lunch location that wasn't fast food and with some ambiance. The Electric Cheetah did not disappoint. Our server was attentive but not hovering. We asked for a sample of the Horsey Aioli before ordering a sandwich - the server brought it out quickly to help with our selections. The meals are made with purpose, presentation was a 10/10 and flavor at the same level. Everyone enjoyed their lunch and agreed that we would return. The only reason I didn't offer 5 stars was that although they pride themselves over a hefty Root Beer menu - the first three I ordered were not available :(.

Somehow it's taken me years to try this place! Came here for lunch on a Saturday just before noon. By 12:30-1pm, the place was getting pretty busy. We sat outside since I had my dog with us. My mom got a "pick 2" combo for $16 - half a grilled cheese sandwich and hand cut fries, which was probably a little overpriced but she liked it. I got the "pick 3" combo for $19 - half a reuben sandwich, the thai town salad, and the garlic cheese curds. I thought it was a good sized portion and very tasty! The bread for the reuben was a little too soggy though, wish it was toasted. The garlic cheese curds were phenomenal. A solid lunch spot for soups, salads, and sandwiches!

Very impressed with the food, the vegan meatloaf was phenomenal! My fiancée said his Reuben was excellent as well. Our waitress was really sweet, maybe her name was Reagan? 10/10 restaurant, so glad we found this hidden gem!

Stopped in with friends that were excited to try the vegan options here. We all ended up being very impressed with the food. My husband and I split the Reuben and fries that I cant wait to eat again asap. Our friends loved the impossible burger and the hippy dippy (add tofu). All of the root beer options were really fun and we all loved the decor...lots to look at all around! Staff was friendly and prompt. Not a single complaint!

Been getting takeout from this place for 4 years. They got my order wrong because of a new employee and a new menu. I drove back and was told I had to pay the $5 difference in what they thought I ordered and what I had paid for. It should have been the same price as the first one I paid for in the first place and if I already had to drive back for your mistake I shouldn't have to pay an additional fee. I hope that $5 was worth losing a customer who enjoys your food but won't put up with that business.

So good! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile, and it was delicious! I loved the variety of mac'n'cheese flavors and the extensive root beer selection. We arrived at 5 on a Saturday and were able to be seated right away, but then it did get quite busy. The service was quick and friendly! I will be returning!

Coffee, yes it was good. The staff was very friendly and did a great job getting people in and out.

I'm still drooling! Great food. Perfect beverage. I had lunch and now want to go back for dinner! My friend is a Vegetarian and she was just as thrilled with her "burger" as I was with my smoked brisket French dip. I'd definitely call it the best of both worlds in the East town area.

Everyone was friendly, service was quick and efficient without feeling rushed, and the vibes were fantastic! We opted for nachos to start. Honestly, would've ordered a second batch instead of a burger if I had the chance, but we had already put in for burgers. Now, the burgers were also amazing, so you really can't go wrong. The chronic fries are DELICIOUS, with a perfect hint of heat to make them more unique. Prices were pretty good for serving size. We can't wait to make our way back (& hopefully that's soon!)

After contacting the restaurant, I was told the missing items would be remade and ready in about 20 minutes. It ultimately took closer to 45 minutes, and I had to drive to the restaurant myself to pick up food that should have arrived correctly the first time. That said, what changed my opinion was how the team handled the situation afterward. The General Manager personally came out, apologized sincerely, gave me her card, and told me to contact her directly so she could make things right. She took ownership of the mistake rather than making excuses, which I genuinely appreciated. Nobody likes dealing with a missing order, and there is definitely room for improvement in their Uber Eats process. However, mistakes happen in every business. What matters is how a company responds when things go wrong, and Stella's showed they care about their customers and reputation. Not a perfect experience, but the recovery effort and customer service earned back a lot of goodwill. We'll give them another chance.

At first I was hesitant because of the price, and it being biscuits, but they made me eat those words and more. It was like a large biscuit muffin top with jalapeño, cheese and honey glaze (I think) and it came with a white cheddar cheese sauce to dip it in that was outrageously delicious. For a guy who hates cheddar biscuits, I've got to say I'm blown away. My wife ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and carrots. It was on the pricier side, but yet again well worth it. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were pretty good too. They had live music playing as well tonight. It was a jazzy kind of vibe and it didn't over power anyone talking or anything. The guy had some serious skill too. To top it off, we had some pretty killer service from everyone there. From the hostess taking our names, random servers walking around, and our fantastic server (I forget her name but she was blonde and worked upstairs and had a a really great attitude. The expo or food runner dropping our food off anticipated us possibly needing an extra plate and brought one without asking which was super awesome and ended up coming in handy ( I knew my wife wouldn't finish that steak alone) and she brought it without asking and was ready with a smile to get more. I used to be a GM (I hate when people use this saying but...) truly I know how hard it is to find good workers and the folks running it here seem to have it down. I come from a place where you have to drive 100 mi or more for average service. So seeing exceptional service is really almost too good to be true. I'd definitely stop in for a bite. It's worth every penny. We'll be back for dessert, they have seasonal crème brûlées!

I dined at TOG today for a business lunch and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing…read more At the end of our meal, I asked for a to-go box because I had barely touched my food. My guest and I spent most of our lunch talking, and I left with nearly an entire meal. About 20 minutes after leaving, I realized I had forgotten my box and immediately called the restaurant to see if it was still there. The young lady who answered the phone asked where I had been seated. I explained that I was at the very first table at the front of the restaurant. Within seconds, she told me there was nothing there. Her tone made it clear that assisting me was not a priority. Given that the hostess stand is located at the back of the restaurant and I was seated at the front, I do not believe there was enough time for her to actually check before dismissing my concern. After I sent an email regarding the situation, the hostess responded that she had walked through the restaurant looking for the box. Based on the timing of our phone conversation, I find that difficult to believe. In her response, she also stated that she checked with the servers after our call had ended, which suggests that no real effort was made while I was on the phone. What is most disappointing is that I am a regular customer. Today, I paid $56.00 for lunch for myself and my business guest. Between a server who was largely absent throughout the meal and the dismissive interaction when I called about my forgotten food, the level of service fell far below what I have come to expect. Everyone has an occasional bad day, but customer service is often defined by how issues are handled after something goes wrong. In this case, I felt dismissed rather than helped. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I do not plan to return.
