Resolve Landscape - Precast paver installation , planting, lighting , and drip system.

Resolve Landscape

Our beautiful backyard landscape and makeover has been successfully completed (all within a…read morereasonable time frame)... We are pleased to submit a great review for Eric Mercado, of Resolve Landscape. Eric and his crew tackled a tough job to level the uneven soil in our 700 sq. ft. +/- area in preparation for upgrading the existing soil to improve out backyard to install a new sprinkler system and Marathon I sod. (I hope that if possible, Resolve Landscapers wouldn't mind adding any additional information that I may have overlooked). In addition, Resolve installed PTL lumber along the tree line, a separate drip system for additional plantings around our trees, and added a B-Hyve wi-fi enabled watering system with multiple stations to allow us to control the timing for watering backyard areas. We also had flagstone stepping stone pavers installed in one of the corners of our backyard, with 3/8" Del Rio pea rocks to support the walkway. The uploaded before - and - after photos show the success of this project. Eric is very professional and was resourceful in assisting with identifying ideas for the success of out project. We think you'll have success in using his company for your next project.

We received four different estimates, all in a similar price range, but what set McLandscape apart was their exceptional customer service. Their attention to detail and commitment to clear communication throughout every stage of the project made all the difference. We always felt informed, heard, and confident in the process. The final result exceeded our expectations--we absolutely love our new backyard! A special shoutout to Leo, the foreman, who was a huge plus throughout the project. He was always available, responsive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. We highly recommend McLandscape to anyone looking for quality work and a team that truly cares about their clients.

I am fond of saying you can tell the quality of a company by how they respond when things go wrong…read more tl:dr; in the case of MC, the answer is not at all. Here are all the things that have gone wrong: I discovered the hardware they used for my lighting and my sprinkler were the base models, despite paying top doller. The owner lied on google maps claiming they put in a higher system. I posted pictures of the base models. No reply. I had to buy after market not so great adapters to get smart access to my lights and sprinklers. They put a chip in my pony wall while installing (years ago) and promised to come back to fix it. They never did. I recently found out from a neighbor who sees a part of my yard I normally don't that I have a sprinkler that is just pouring onto the walkway. That was a few days ago and I haven't had time to look at it. A good company would come out and fix it for me. Given how they haven't fixed anything else yet, I'll have to fix this myself or pay a reputable company to take a look. Half of my lights don't work. Again, I have zero hope that they will repair the lights. I had to replace nearly every plant they chose because it either didn't match my plans or because they weren't suited to the climate here and didn't survive (lest you blame me, every plant I chose to replace it with is thriving. How do you choose plants that can't survive in a region where everything survives?) The owner said on my google review that he had tried to reach me "several times" and I told him not to call.... I have been begging for them to make these things right for years.. I have had no calls. I figured out he was probably calling the wrong number and the person kept telling them that and finally said to stop calling. I sure as hell didn't say it. I would still like them to come fix the pony wall, the lighting, and the sprinklers, and make it right that I paid thousands for plants that had to be replaced within a year. Instead, they are resting on their mostly high reviews figuring mine will get buried and no one will care. Which is why I'm on yelp now as well as google. Here's what you can learn from the reviews. When things go right, MC is great. I do love the layout they created and the work by the actual workers. They were diligent and hard working. The price was high but fair given the amount of curved pavers I had in the plans, it seemed reasonable. (This is assuming there weren't so many problems.) But if you have an issue with them, good luck. Years of me leaving voicemails and reaching out to no avail. They knew about the pony wall before they even finished the project. There is ZERO excuse for not fixing that before they were done. Now years later, any work won't match well. I'm just livid at this company. 75 grand and this is how I've been treated. Unreal.

I found them on Yelp and chose them after getting four other quotes. From the beginning, they stood out for their professionalism, responsiveness, detailed proposal, and fair pricing. Ale was fantastic to work with. She was quick to respond, answered all my questions, and made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and well organized. Once construction started, Jonathan and his team were excellent. They arrive promptly each day and cleanup well. Jonathan is knowledgeable, professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. What stood out most was his communication and transparency. He provided daily updates, either by text or in person, walking me through the progress and explaining what was coming next, which gave me a lot of confidence throughout the project. I also really appreciated his fantastic customer service and follow-through. For example, the game light I purchased arrived broken from the manufacturer, and Jonathan came back promptly after the project was finished to install the replacement once it arrived. The entire project took about a week, and the final result exceeded my expectations. The court and surrounding landscaping look amazing, drain properly, and have completely transformed our backyard. Seeing my son excited to play on it every day makes it even more worth it. I highly recommend Herencia Landscaping to anyone looking for high-quality, reliable, and professional outdoor work. I would definitely hire them again.

What impressed me most about them was when I told them what I wanted, they gave me ideas based on their expertise. I sometimes worry that contractors will simply give me what I ask for, whether it makes the most sense or not. While I've researched the needs, I'm not a pro and I felt like they listened to the project needs and offered insight to deliver the best result. Jonathan gave me his recommendation and their bid was extremely reasonable. The team came out and got the work done in 2 days. They were sweet people and the work was outstanding. They also left the worksite clean, which seems like a given but seems like a rarity nowadays. I would absolutely hire Herencia again for future projects.

New sprinkler heads, valves and automatic water system set up. Alejandro was so professional and friendly. He came out and provided a quote, was there bright and early yesterday with a colleague. He left after discussing what would happen and told us to reach out if we needed anything. His one guy spent all day digging out, flushing and replacing all the sprinkler heads. Water was turned off for only about an hour as he replaced all 5 water valves. Then Alejandro came back at the end of the job to set up the automatic water system and test everything one last time. My folks are elderly and have been neglecting their lawn and so many sprinkler heads were completely buried, and the water timer was at least 30 years old. I would use Hidden Gem Landscaping again in a heartbeat!! Already recommended them to friends for other projects. Tried to offer them a tip since they replaced way more sprinkler heads than what we discussed and thought would need to be replaced thinking that the price for parts at least would adjust the initial quote, but Alejandro kindly refused.

They helped us update our backyard by installing decomposed granite around a large tree, pouring a concrete slab, and landscaping the surrounding area. We recently had someone from the company do some landscaping. The work was satisfactory, though the quote felt quite high. I would suggest requesting an itemized breakdown of plant costs and labor. I also asked for quotes on landscape lighting, concrete work, and ongoing plant maintenance, but never received a response, which was disappointing.
