Using grapes shipped from CA and mixing with apples crown on site, this small batch operation is a delightful stop. Specifically, I want to shout out our wine guide who took us through several of their wines. She made our experience there memorable with her amazing personality, charm, and humor. The space is small but offers a variety of options to hang out and enjoy their wines and ciders - inside by the fireplace, outside on the screen porch, or outdoors on the patio. It was very crowded when we arrived but they had ample parking without any issue finding a spot. We each ordered a flight of ciders so we had about 8 different ciders to try. We loved them all. My favorite was the blueberry, you could actually taste the fruit and it wasn't super sweet which I loved. They had some indoor seating and out door seating with picnic tables. They only had a select few of umbrellas, out biggest complaint was we wish they had more because we were baking in the sun. They have a couple of port-a-potties to use and a watercooler and cups. The view of the mountain ranges was amazing and beautiful. We will be back.

The ciders were enjoyable. Bushy Hill Cidery is located in Clark Farms. They make apple wine, cider, and hard cider from 20 different types of apples they grow. They have 4 types of hard ciders: 1. B.N.D (dry) 2. Ruddy Wild (dry-cranberry) 3.Jump Start (ginger flavored) 4.Bear Essentials (local honey blend-sweet) And 2 types of apple wine: 1. Citron 2. Apple Blossom They serve those in house and you can purchase cans and growlers to go. They also serve local CT craft beer and mimosas. There's a porch, patio, and indoor area to enjoy those drinks. Walk around and behind the store and then up the dirt road leading between greenhouses. The cidery is on the right. The front part has a few tall tables and the bar. Go through the doorway to the left of the bar and it opens up to a huge space with picnic tables. Beyond that is a huge fire pit and Adirondack chairs. It's a really cute spot.
