He had placed his membership on hold because he had 12 prepaid 90-minute sessions remaining. We spoke directly with the manager, who told us it was fine for me and our daughter to use the remaining sessions. Two sessions were used, leaving 10 prepaid 90-minute sessions (valued at well over $1,000). Since the summer, I repeatedly tried to book appointments. Calls went unanswered, the location was often closed, and I received messages saying someone would call me back which never happened. This went on for months. I have all these messages saved. I later learned the Morris Plains location had closed and was told the same owner and manager operates the Chester location. When I contacted Chester and explained the situation, I was told that all sessions had to be used by December 31st. I was never notified of this, no email, no call, no letter, despite them having no problem charging us

Personally for me for the body massage he was a little too strong. He used a lot of elbows and each time he did that I had asked him to go softer as it hurt me too much. Someone who likes extremely deep pressure would be happy. When he used his actual hands everything was perfect. There was also a lot of rubbing over the sheet which I'm not used to. I didn't realize until I was done that all body massages are done face down with Covid going on. I understand safety precautions but if I would've known this ahead of time I definitely would not have not gotten the 60 minutes as it is too long to be face down with a mask on. The reflexology was so relaxing. I did a half hour the pressure was perfect. I almost fell asleep at that point. They also had a plastic barrier between you and the therapist. Would come back for the reflexology. Update: i originally gave 4 stars. I had to change it. my back is so sore i couldn't even sleep on it. I feel like I am bruised all under my skin. Unfortunately the pain I'm in overshadows the good things about this place. I go for massages a lot, never been this sore after one. Please don't dig your elbows into people in the future. especially when they asked you to lighten up the pressure several times.
