I've been getting my eyebrows done semi-monthly for my entire adult life, and I have never had an experience as painful as this one. The lady who did my brows was extremely rough from the start. I told her multiple times that she was hurting me, and instead of adjusting her technique, she just blamed it on my hair being "too thick." When I left, my face was visibly irritated, and by the time I got home I realized I actually had bruises on my skin. That has never happened to me anywhere else. The whole appointment felt rushed, careless, and unprofessional. If you care about gentle service, proper technique, or basic respect for your comfort, I would not recommend this place. Ouch! Nice looking salon but my service not soo much. My male nail tech did my nails so fast I blinked and he was done with my gel manicure. Respectfully, his quick aggressive manner has my nails sore from the electric filing tool and digging into my cuticles. I recently got a pedicure and the young lady was inexperienced. When she finished my pedicure my heels were rough and still had dead skin on them. I approached the manager and she gave a hard time. She told me sometimes we don't get everything off. She was of no help. After 5 minutes of going back and forth, I left to come home and correct my pedicure after spending $63 dollars here. read more

There is more seating for pedicures than there is tables for manicures. They might do ur nails while Ure doing a pedicure. Which isn't my favorite thing to do. I like taking my time doing both things. Michael did my acrylic nails. He does an amazing job at forming them. Checks for any dips or bumps in the acrylic and all 10 nails are perfect shape. Nail design isn't his best but he was transparent and talks with u if u like it or not. Michael is the best. :) And they have booze! That's always a plus. read more

This is my regular nail salon and it never fails! My favorite nail techs are Alena, Ivan, and Lan but from what I've seen everyone there does a great job. Everyone is always super friendly and in good spirits. Yes, it's a little more pricey than other nail salons in Waxahachie but I'm willing to pay the extra $$ because the quality is great and they always take such good care of me. I just went in for a fill yesterday and the dip powder wasn't drying correctly, it was leaving marks and my nail tech quickly noticed, fixed the problem and did not complain or rush to get me out of the door at all. read more

Each time I come here, it just gets inconsistent and less enjoyable. For the cost of services, I'd rather drive to Dallas and get my money's worth. I asked for black gel for toes, was watching tv & noticed after second coat, she painted them white. When I told the tech, all she said was oh and barely massaged my feet. If i had the time, i would've asked her to change it. She didn't even offer to change it either. My finger nails are bumpy & splotchy too. The tech on my fingers didn't even bother to clean up the dip color stuck to my skin. The spa was pretty empty for me to get rushed and have my services messed up. If i get a chance this week, I'll see if they can fix my dip manicure then that's the most noticeable messed up part. read more

Made an appt the day before and they didn't start until 40 minutes after the appointment time. The nail techs are nice but did a bad job. Three of my nails are crooked even after I told her they were crooked and she halfway fixed them. The color I picked out is not even close to the color I got. I told her as she was doing the dip and she said it would be the same color when it was done. When I got it to the front I showed them side-by-side the color I asked for and what I got and they just said sorry and kept asking for payment. They did not try to fix it or anything. My friend was with me and we got pedicures at the same time. They literally burnt her toes to where they were red because they wrapped the hot towel around her foot when it was way too hot. I love coming to Artisan Nails. They always do a wonderful job, and are very accommodating to their guests' needs. The interior is beautiful, and their prices are great! The technicians have good ideas, such as a simple glitter on the ring finger like in my photo, and they can do cool designs - I haven't gotten any designs myself besides glitter, but I've sat next to people who have had designs such as ombre's and Disney inspired nails. Worst nails ever. I am from out of town and have never been here before. Their uneven, polish is off and bubbles and they charged me $45 with a $5 off coupon for a first time visit. The people were great and were very kind. I realised the sanitation wasn't on par with what we have seen. A week later we noticed a green spot on his toenail! I came here about 2 weeks ago and had to take my dip nails off because I had a very sharp pain under my nails. The instant I took them off, my finger nails were bruised and had stuff (fungus) coming out of them. The tools they used were clearly not sanitized at all and they don't care about there clients health. I thought i would try out a new nail salon, since i couldn't get into my regular place. I walked in right after they opened and was greeted at the front desk. I filled out the paper with my name, phone number, and what service(s) i wanted that day. There's also a spot to request a drink (they serve frozen drinks and wine along with water and sodas). The girl sat down and started on my nails. The guy from the front desk, maybe the manager or owner, kept coming over and watching her work. I was suspicious, but she was already halfway done with the process. I paid and was happy with them. The next day, i realized that some of them were already lifting at the back of the nail.
