I usually go to my trusted nail salon when I want my nails done but decided to give this place another chance since it was something simple. But my nails were a disappointment. The almond shape on my nails are slanted and very unevenly buffed. When I raised concerns about it, it seemed like I was the problem. The front lady desk also kind of had a disingenuous attitude when I wasn't sure what kind of manicure I wanted. Definitely will not be returning for sure anymore. read more

First and last time! Very disappointed with my experience. The service was rushed and rough. The nail tech used the drill at such a high setting that it hurt I kept flinching the whole time. She even cut my big toe unevenly. The polish seemed old, and I wasn't given time for my nails to dry before being rushed to pay which resulted in smudging. Not the quality I expected! read more

Was going to rate it a higher rating until my five year old daughter requested to have "spooky Halloween" designs on all 10 fingers versus the original 2 they did. They quoted me an additional $15 for all ten fingers with a design. The tech got instantly frustrated when I asked her to change the ghost from black to white and it was very apparent. (Btw, I'm Vietnamese so I understood what was being said.) I told her I was paying for the design so I should be able to ask for the change from black to white. From there she continued to show her frustration with body language. It's a five year old for God sake. Being a daughter of a former Vietnamese nail tech of 20+ years and new to the Waxahachie area, taking my business elsewhere. read more

I would have given them a zero but it was not an option. WORST place EVER!! Only nice thing I can say is shop was decent. I felt like I was an animal in an auction. Just rushed for no reason. Service sucked times infinity!!! The guy left lotion all over my legs not rubbed in which made my pants soaked. Neither of the techs that worked on me...feet and nails...cleaned under my nails or clipped my cuticles. Besides the service being horrible their prices are outrageous for what they do. I want to give kudos where kudos are due. I had a really good experience getting my toes and nails done a couple of days ago, they look amazing. I also want to emphasize their honesty. I lost my AirPods and couldn't find them. I seen them on my Find Devices on my phone and they were at Resort nails from two days ago. I called and they had them at the desk. I enjoyed getting my nails done here, the staff were attentive, friendly and did a great job for me. The place is huge, but they number the seats so you can easily find it again if you go to the restroom. They offered me a drink of choice and got me all comfortable. I had a basic manicure and pedicure, the massage chair was great, they used liners in the pedicure bowl and all tools were clean and nicely prepared. Two ladies perfected my fluorescent red toenails and fingernails and were gentle and detailed. I'd definitely go back to this nail salon. read more

Disappointed and upset about the quality of work. It's sad because it's a pretty salon with nice staff. They charged an extra $20 for hands and $20 for feet for "chrome" nails. 1st of all, the chrome is barely noticeable and it started chipping off within 2 days. I have had "chrome" done before and it had "mirror-like" shine And it lasted for 2 weeks. I would have gone back to the salon and had them redone but I'm not from the area. Plus no one mentioned "chrome" would be an extra $40 added to mani/pedi. My normal salon doesn't charge anything extra for Chrome finish. I do not recommend going to this salon read more

I got the classic pedicure today and a gel manicure. I didn't have the best experience because: 1. I received the wrong color (but it was my fault for not correcting her) 2. The toe nail polish did not dry even after 2 hours (although I did scuff it trying to put on shoes to drive) 3. My gel manicure on 3 fingers were a little opaque Granted it was my fault for the first two but I was a little bummed out that the regular nail polish still did not dry for a long time and the appearance on three of my gel nails (ignoring the color) were what they were. I came with a friend and she liked her nail techs and her service! The ambience was really nice and we were helped quickly. Unfortunately, I just did not have a good experience for what I paid. read more

The person working on my nails said to me "the price you're paying is good for what you're getting" as though I had a problem paying for services or something. Highly offensive. On top of that, she didn't remove cuticles nor did she file and shape my nails. I literally still need a pedicure because she didn't do anything. I could go on and on about how awful it is. I went in today to get my nails done, which I don't get to do very often so I was very excited to go in and treat myself and try this place, I usually don't leave reviews but I just wanted to warn other people thinking about going here and FONG being your nail tech, I asked for dip with extension, short almond shape and only color. You'd think pretty simple right. As the nail tech (FONG) was almost finished I noticed some small flaws and thought it shouldn't be too hard to fix up, well the nail tech thought completely different I didnt ask what her name was but I did notice that her nail box said FONG. When I asked her kindly if she could fix the white powder residue that some of the nails had she gave me an attitude and said I must have moved and messed up my nails and that they looked fine that nothing was wrong with them. Am I going crazy or was she gaslighting... you can see in the pictures how messy and stained she left them, she refused to fix them and I'm not a confrontational so I very much frustrated with the fact that she had already blamed me for her job she did. So I paid and left. I will not be returning here, it was a waste of $70. Very disappointed. read more

What a glorious experience. Walking through the doors is in itself and experience-the glamour. The staff is extremely professional and polite. They have sooo many menu options that are Devine. I got the cucumber pedi and tips with dip. I also fell asleep in the chair it was relaxing. The mani was done at my pedi chair which was a great bonus. Moving stations is annoying in my opinion. Went in for a full set today. I will not be returning. The manager in the front was yelling at a girl when I walked in because her card wasn't working. No customer service skills. The girl that did my nails rushed through the process. It was as if she was purposely trying to rush and didn't care how my nails looked. They are lumpy and uneven. The nail technician made me feel as if I was bothering her when I asked her to fix one nail so I felt uncomfortable asking her to fix the rest. So... I trust reviews heavily. I hope you find what you're looking for out of my honest review. I love the ambiance of Resort Nail Salon. Very classy, clean. I told the nail tech I wanted an acrylic French manicure. Medium length. She some how talked me into dip powder by saying I'd have to wait another hour for a nail tech who can do acrylic. I've never had dipped nails before so I figured I'd give it a try. I wanted medium length.. but she said dipped worked better for short nails. I'm a bass guitarist so I didn't mind. I voiced to her that I wanted to keep the length she already cut but she then proceeded to cut more. (Very annoyed, but I was on a time crunch.) I told her my pet peeves & favs with my nails. I like a tapered square shape. I can't stand rounded edges. I don't like air bubbles in my nails. (Who does??) I don't like a nude base. I love a strong pink tinted base for my French manicure. I wanted to love this place. I do believe in second chances. I will not be using a nail tech whom does as they want not as what I want. These were paid for me, so I didn't want to brat out too much lol. But I wanted to get what was paid for. I believe the total in all for dip French manicure, classic pedicure with Gel was $104.00 maybe? He wouldn't tell me the price but I believe that's what I saw lol.. This is the final product of the job that was done. It's not cute to me. But I will find another nail tech @ this same salon. read more
