Horrible horrrible service and quality!!!! Why are my nail bubbllyyyy!!!!! They charge you $20 for nail design that look like a child drew them on "French" isn't even curved. Charged extra for "French" charged extra for tip charged extra for shape that doesn't even look like almond!!! I have come here since they opened and have had a good experience and this is horrible. Don't use anyone other than Sam or Stephanie if you need your nails done. Told the manager I wasn't happy and she didn't nothing about it ignored me and turned her head away. Poor poor customer service!

    My chipped nails

I'm so disappointed. Less than 24 hours ago I got manicure at El Dorado Nail Salon, Waxahachie. I'm sitting at the airport going on vacation with chipped nails!

#106 color pedicure in Waxahachia Texas

Danny was my nail technician! He had somewhat of an attitude when I insisted that there be no gel polish used. He gave a decent cafe massage. I got the ultimate pedicure valued at 52 dollars. It involved a 10 minute foot massage which after 10 minutes had my muscles in my leg feeling ok but not great. The clipping of the toe nails were good in that he did not draw any blood or painful snip in my skin. Here you are offered 2 drinks maximum. I chose the the tequila sunrise in honor of my son in law Chris who likes tequila. I am still not a fan of it. The other drink I chose was a mango something or other. Y'all I can not remember the correct name at this moment but it was sweet and lovely tasting! This may be the spot I hang my hat on! There was no over powering smell of toxin in the air. So, there is go ventilation here. You will not be blown away by the fumes! Which is factor when you visit a nail salon! there was chatter amongst the clients here but not annoying. There was my favor music playing which I most certainly enjoy(country music). It warmed my soul to hear a familiar tone! It was playing gently in the background. It was soothing and nice to hear. So far I am enjoying this place. I will come back to get the bikini wax which I had scheduled for today. The drinks that were offered were tasty and hit the spot in that I wanted a total relaxing day at the spa with my friends who enjoy that type of experience. I would admit that doing your toes at home can be satisfying but having a professional do them with sure quickness is fantastic. Danny did scrape the dead skin from my heels however they are not smooth as I would have liked. The job was done adequately . The polish I chose was 109 in honor or not of the Rhino I call Geraldine. The same one who gave be the diarrhea at Christmas with those mustard greens! no love loss between us! Anyway enjoy your holidays people! The new year is going to be a happy one for everyone! A new beginning for all that follow what I say orally and in written form. Peace for those who agree and hate for all who disagree! That's right! I am still the one to beat(Elephants unite). Squirrel be damned and mice turn into men. There is no fairy tail only truth as I have written and as I have always said. Let it be done. Brian you are always the one. So I will hear you in my dreams always.(crying tears of joy) that I will never forget. Love to those who have helped and those who can't help at this time! Mesquite I hate all of you! (Stick tongue out) and with kiddish playfulness. I'm tired so goodnight to all and all a good night. Ho Ho Ho

What I left with very thin, not durable

If I could give this place zero stars I would . Got my toes done have no complaints about that, but I also got my nails done. She couldn't even do ombre, which is something that is offered as a service there. even the lady next to me was complaining about her nails and she was asking for French tip .I ended up leaving with the nude layer that they put on top of my nails to start them so I could go to my usual place to get them done correctly .decided to try something new but never again will I come to this place!.The lady that was doing my nails I asked her several times because I could tell she couldn't do ombré that we could change my style on my nails, but she insisted that she could do it. I wasted an hour and a half and my nails weren't even done. She made the coat super thin and kept complaining about my nail bed being short as the reason why she couldn't do the ombre on my nails. The worst excuse I have ever heard. They definitely need more employees that can do nails. but the front desk people are nice! And the free drinks included in the service were nice.

    Love my nails tho!!!

Don't use the lady named Ivy. She is very unprofessional and argumentative. Her customer service…read morewas horrible. She was very rough and asked if she was the only one that I have experienced that with. I said yes. Overall, it's a great place. I've been going for a while. I usually book appointments but saw my nails needed some help and walked in today. I have little ones and needed some mommy time. She said she doesn't use the white powder for dip nails. I asked why and she said that's her way. I politely asked her if she could use it as I have always had the white powder on my nails before the application. (Every nail tech uses the white powder) She refused very abruptly and told me that's how she does it. She was very rude. She asked if I normally come in and I said I do but today was just a one off and she said maybe you need to schedule your person next time. I said I most definitely will. You shouldn't have to tolerate disrespect if you don't book someone. I asked the front desk receptionist what do you call the white powder that's placed on the nails before the dip color. The nail tech, Ivy, said out loud in front of the receptionist, She won't know she is not a nail tech. I love the owners and I have been to several nail salons in the area and this place is by far the best! You get in and get out! I have recommended several people and they all love it there. They do not go to her though. They were busy and I extended grace but the disrespect from the tech was a no. I will keep going. I am very loyal to Star nails. This is my first issue in 5 years.

You know what I hate talking about other peoples work. I've been to This place once before and I…read morehad a good experience. I came today and it wasn't too busy so I didn't have to wait long. I will say that the front staff are always so welcoming and sweet. My issue started AFTER sitting down. I was getting my hands done and a pedicure. I will say the lady who did my toes was super sweet and nice. She did a good job too but the only thing was i wish she went a little more on cleaning under the nails. But overall she was great. Now let's talk about the young woman who did my hands. From the beginning she just looked upset or bored. Some can even say she looked like she didn't want to be there at all. I know her name but I'm not going to blast her because she could be a good nail tech and was having a bad day. Or she could still be a new etc. overall I'm not going to call her out. Anyways, I told her I wanted French tips and wanted the shape squared/oval. She said she could do that. That was the only time she spoke to me. Honestly that doesn't bother me. Because sometimes you don't want to have small talk. Anywho, she finished the shape and I didn't like it. I told Her but she didn't fix it. And I was "trusting the process". Then she started painting the French tips and she asked if I liked it. I said no that's not the way I liked them which I then showed her again. She then got an attitude about it. She "fixed it" but it still wasn't the way I liked. The French tips went across with little to no curve and if you look at the nails it looks a little wonky. Then when she went to cure the nail polish she started getting mad at the AGAIN because my thumb "wasn't cured". Note I was getting both hands and feet down and she had her lamp on my lap and was angled all weird. Well she's like "you need to make sure to put your fingers right ". I'm like You're the one who positioned my hands. Whatever. Overall once she was done she didn't speak to me. Didn't ask if I liked it and walked away. Didn't say goodbye. Then when I was trying to pay for the service, she sat down behind me while I paid and watched me. So I just didn't feel like arguing with her so I paid. Let unhappy and I'll just find a way to fix them at home because they're not what I wanted. The other staff looked friendly though. The place looked clean and welcoming. But in still indecisive if I'll come back. For the price I paid I felt it was so much for no good results.

So...I was…read moresetting up for my brother in law's rehearsal dinner at the Tuscan Slice, and one of the centerpiece figurines got knocked over and shattered. It was a pretty important one because it came from a character in a play that he performed in. My mother-in-law asked me what I thought we could use to temporarily fix it for the evening, so my search for super glue began. We didn't really have enough time to drive far to a store, so I ran down to the Aldi in the same shopping center, but there was nothing useful there. Then to the 7 eleven on the corner. Nope. Walking back, dejected, I thought maybe that nail salon would have something I could buy. I poked my head in, like a middle aged straight guy who's never considered going into a nail salon. They could see it on my face. "Yep, this guys having a day." After explaining the situation, she said "we don't sell items individual items, only services." That's when she did something unexpected. She reached behind the counter and cut open a little vile of nail glue. "Here it's on the house. Just try not to get any on your skin" I ran back to the restaurant and fixed the figurine. These people are genuine saints. Although I have never had my nails done at all, I thought about going back and getting a manicure just to show my appreciation. Needless to say I hope good karma comes their way for their generosity.
