When I first came in, the ladies at the front were welcoming and offered me a drink, which honestly was the main reason I returned a second time. One of them sat me down, and my nail tech came over. She wasn't very friendly at first, but her attitude changed once she began upselling me on a pedicure. We had a decent conversation until it was time to do my finger nails with shellac. I briefly answered my phone for about two seconds, and she immediately got upset and scolded me. At that point, I decided to get up and leave--it simply wasn't worth being treated that way. I truly feel their business model relies heavily on upselling customers, so be cautious and firm about what you're willing to pay. I did not feel valued or heard, even after expressing my concerns. Danny was my nail technician! He had somewhat of an attitude when I insisted that there be no gel polish used. He gave a decent cafe massage. I got the ultimate pedicure valued at 52 dollars. It involved a 10 minute foot massage which after 10 minutes had my muscles in my leg feeling ok but not great. The clipping of the toe nails were good in that he did not draw any blood or painful snip in my skin. Here you are offered 2 drinks maximum. I chose the the tequila sunrise in honor of my son in law Chris who likes tequila. I am still not a fan of it. The other drink I chose was a mango something or other. Y'all I can not remember the correct name at this moment but it was sweet and lovely tasting! This may be the spot I hang my hat on! There was no over powering smell of toxin in the air. So, there is go ventilation here. You will not be blown away by the fumes! Which is factor when you visit a nail salon! there was chatter amongst the clients here but not annoying. There was my favor music playing which I most certainly enjoy(country music). It warmed my soul to hear a familiar tone! It was playing gently in the background. It was soothing and nice to hear. So far I am enjoying this place. I will come back to get the bikini wax which I had scheduled for today. The drinks that were offered were tasty and hit the spot in that I wanted a total relaxing day at the spa with my friends who enjoy that type of experience. I would admit that doing your toes at home can be satisfying but having a professional do them with sure quickness is fantastic. Danny did scrape the dead skin from my heels however they are not smooth as I would have liked. The job was done adequately . The polish I chose was 109 in honor or not of the Rhino I call Geraldine. The same one who gave be the diarrhea at Christmas with those mustard greens! no love loss between us! Anyway enjoy your holidays people! The new year is going to be a happy one for everyone! The lady doing my mother's nails was very rude and tried to charge her $20 to just fix one nail on top of her already having to pay 60 for a fill. My FULL SET was 65. My pointer finger nail is quite a bit shorter than the rest of my nails. I also had a few crooked nails. When I asked for them to get fix she filed for like a second and there were still very crooked. I was not pleased with this experience. I live out of town and my MIL lives in Waxahachie so I decided to try somewhere to get my nails done and I'm so glad it was here! as soon as you walk in you are greeted and assisted with kindness. The nail technicians are accommodating and mindful and don't try to over sell you or make you get things you didn't ask for. Beautifully designed space. Nice first impression, and then we experienced a Rushed service check in by receptionist(Chloe) who's impatient self took over kiosk and menu check in,became quickly unclear on what services to be rendered to the two of us walk in clients. Immediately presumed to know what we wanted. Very directly told us to pick color. Upon finally realizing they had two mani/pedis (adult daughter and self),took us to pedicure bowl for service. Mind you,I had not even chosen a pedicure from the menu because she took it over. No choice given. Two of the nail technicians were professional,kind and performed well! Chloe who unfortunately gave my daughter her pedicure,was RUDE,condescending,contrite and found it her position to try and humiliate and embarrass my daughter by raising her voice when her attempt at directing her in verbal commands weren't clear and her client couldn't understand her properly. Instead of just moving her feet into the position she needed,(mind you she is also having gel x nails applied) ~as any other professional would have done. I have worked in the beauty industry for almost 40 years. Never have I ever been in such a situation of INSTANT regret. She upset my daughter to the point of tears with her statement "WAS I NOT CLEAR?!" Disrespectful,arrogant and rude. She has no business working in front of house. Our nails turned out fine and we managed to enjoy our seldom alone time together. The other two techs felt the tension and it was uncomfortable for them also. End of service was also unclear. Check given and my tech flew off to other clients without coming back to check for my nails to be dry or toe separators removed. Just walked away. She couldn't even do ombre, which is something that is offered as a service there. even the lady next to me was complaining about her nails and she was asking for French tip .I ended up leaving with the nude layer that they put on top of my nails to start them so I could go to my usual place to get them done correctly .decided to try something new but never again will I come to this place!.The lady that was doing my nails I asked her several times because I could tell she couldn't do ombré that we could change my style on my nails, but she insisted that she could do it. I wasted an hour and a half and my nails weren't even done. She made the coat super thin and kept complaining about my nail bed being short as the reason why she couldn't do the ombre on my nails. The place is extremely nice and the young ladies at the front are absolutely amazing. The best part is that it is less than 5 minutes from my house. But I went in for a toe nail polish change that was misquoted and ended up costing me $30. I had just gotten a dip and a pedicure the week the before, at this same location so I was not happy.
