The surprise came with the location - from booking I knew it would be in someone's home, but you literally get waxed in the middle of her dining/living room. She stated she lives alone, but it's quite odd to be in the middle of someone's living space with no curtains or doors for privacy when changing (or someone else was home - I wouldn't know). Very strange. For the same price, someone else can offer waxing from a clean business storefront with a private room. The wax itself was fine - not the most painful I've ever gotten and not the least painful, either. She uses a different kind of material to pull up the wax which I didn't feel strongly about, but it did seem to have a habit of being hard to pull up around the edges. For the same price, I'd go elsewhere, but it works in a pinch.

I was told there is a free slot for the next hour, see you soon. I arrive, am taken directly back, within five minutes I'm out. The wildest part is my underarms were NOT grown out significantly, often esthetician's give up, rip off my skin, or charge me for four hairs on a strip of fabric all while double dipping and not wearing gloves.
