Van is absolutely amazing. I have been to other spas and salons and I have never seen actual benefits until I found Van and Oak Street Spa. I went in for microdermabrasion to get rid of acne scars and I left looking like a new person. Within one day, my skin had less acne scars and I looked like I had an overall glow and even complexion. She owns this and operates it and cares so much about each and every client she gets. I just went in to get a facial and another round of microdermabrasion, and again she has amazed me. She is so talented and sweet and knows exactly what she is doing and what your skin needs. I had horrible cystic acne and she has cured it. I will forever be giving Van my service for the rest of my life. Van works very very hard on her services and she offers a lot from manicure to pedicures, waxing, massages, facials, laser treatments, you name it, she knows it and does it. She uses organic products only and I just purchased the skin care line (face wash, toner, and lotion) and it is very reasonable but works!! And I am a skin care freak! I have tried anything and everything under the sun, this is gentle on the face but is very deep cleaning while firming and moisturizing your face. Van is awesome. She also makes jewelry and sells it in her store and has opals and necklaces and purses and bags! Hemps lotion and the organic products she uses (which are a brand made and sold out of Denver). P.S. Oak Street Spa is the cutest little, most warm and welcoming spa I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. And Van is, without a doubt, extremely caring and skilled and attentive in all the services she provides. it is like visiting with a friend and being pampered all at the same time. She sincerely wants you to be comfortable while there and for you to be happy when you leave. and, I always am. Whether it is a massage or a facial or manicure or pedicure, or even when I just stop by to shop her awesome little accessories section (scarves, jewelry, purses, etc)... it's always a fun experience. She treats you like a good friend and it is obvious that your satisifaction and pleasure is paramount to her goals. Wonderful results! I had long suffered from muscular tension in my upper back that would often trigger migraine headaches, at least one event per week, and I required prescription medication to offset the symptoms. Upon the advice of a medical doctor, I tried a program of therapeutic massage instead of the medications, and the results have been terrific. I have visited Van monthly for the past three years for her therapeutic massage, and my instances of back pain and migraine headaches have virtually disappeared during that time. Van runs a wonderful, personable business. I have been getting facial and microderm abrasion treatments from her since the beginning of the year, and now I couldn't imagine going anywhere else for the treatments. She is very knowledgeable, patient, kind, and you can tell that she is personally invested in giving you the best treatment possible, an it shows in her work. Her prices are also very fair, which makes it possible for me to get continued treatments on my budget. I feel like my skin looks as healthy as it's ever been. AMAZING!! I got my lashes lifted and tinted a few weeks ago, but I wanted to wait until I saw how they lasted to give the best review I could and WOW!! I had Megan do my lashes, it felt strange since I had never had anything done to my lashes before but it was totally fine and the results were incredible. My lashes were visibly more curly and I am so glad I got them done! Whenever I didn't wear makeup, at least one of my friends commented on how my lashes looked so good even naturally. 100% recommend and I will absolutely be going back to get them redone! I first came here using a Groupon in March 2018 as I prepared for my wedding day. And now I'm a regular and go every month! Van is very knowledgeable and very honest! I even switched from using Mary Kay products to using the products that she uses. I was a skeptic at first but then people really noticed a change in my skin.
