Came here to get my curls cut and styled by Kevin. I arrived a few minutes early to get my hair washed and shampooed before the appointment. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I showed Kevin what I wanted and he delivered! He took his time thoroughly cutting and styling my hair, and even recommended products for me to incorporate into my current hair care regimen. I walked out feeling rejuvenated and confident. Their prices are more than fair for the area and the salon is clean, well lit and bright. My hair looks and feels amazing. This review is for Jason Benli who goes by @hairbyjasonnyc on insta. if I can give him zero stars I would. I paid over $450 for proaddiction and a haircut plus tips. He completly ruined my daughter's hair / leaving some pieces straight some pieces frizzy some pieces curly. His haircut was not even either. my daughter has virgin hair - no color - we did proaddiction 2x before at a different salon and we're always pleased. I was shocked by his results as I never saw in my life such unprofessional work. I showed him pictures of her hair one week later and he replied he did the best that he can and that I should go somewhere else if I am not happy. I asked him to fix it and redo it and he refused - mocked me and laughed and said no. He is extremely dismissive and argumentative. He crossed the line and was really unprofessional. He recently moved from a different salon to this salon because he was argumentative there too and the owner kicked him out. I now have to find someone to fix the mess he created on my daughter's hair because he refused to take care of it. Terrible service. I wouldn't go to him for free! Avoid at all costs. Please do yourself a favor and read all the reviews on here about Jason all he does is rush through and damage hair- he really has awful reviews. Great experience! Kevin is a pleasure to work with and understands exactly what I want as to color and cut. The staff treated me like royalty. My hair was washed and massaged and it felt incredible. I went to get my hair cut a couple of days ago and it's horrible! I had to spend 40 dollars JUST TO GET A REGULAR STRAIGHT CUT, plus tip which is an additional 10. I don't even know why I gave that tip because the guy cutting my hair, John, kept pacing back and forth from one customer to another. I made an appointment to have my hair cut not have my barber run back and forth from one customer to another. When I told him the length he said ok and still cut it shorter and not the length I wanted, then when I told him what look I wanted he did it differently to make it more "sophisticated". It's what the customer wants John, not what you want. He is a very aggravating man and I hated my experience in here, now I have to wait months till my hair grows back into the length I wanted. My sister went into the salon because she is Anthonys client. after calling the salon and talking to the owner John it wasn't fair for you guys as a salon to have someone working or pretending or renting a chair to work there to bring down your business. He spent 7 hours on my sisters Sevs hair. He was not listening to her needs and wants. he continues on doing the opposite of what she wanted and then legit having her walk out with wet orange and burnt hair. what's mind blowing is that they let her pay for the horrible service. As if it was ok. anyone reading this make sure you don't go to Anthony AkSoy. He's not professional at all and doesn't listen to his clients needs or wants. I agree with the negative reviews citing a lack of professionalism and basic skill. I'm very disappointed with my hair and dissatisfied with the service. My hair looks overall multiple shades lighter and has an orange unnatural tone. It was insulting that a stylist didn't know how to dry my curly hair, brushed it when I said not to for styling purposes, and that even when I told them no mousse they put mousse in it because there were no other styling products for me. They also told me they would help me on the price and then I was simply charged the standard. When I texted the salon the above, I was told I was being disrespectful and a correction couldn't be accommodated. Take your business elsewhere and spare your hair. read more

I came here for my color first time at this location and was pleasantly surprised. It's beautiful here, tasteful and elegant! John was a part of Sahin's beauty spa and finally opened his own place. He put his love in every detail. Front of the salon build as a lounge with a nice chandelier bringing soft cozy light for customers comfort. A bar placed right in the center of the salon facing huge TV for customers who are either waiting for color to take an effect or for friends or family, waiting for members who are being served-great idea! Selection of music-clips was excellent, you feel like dancing yourself :) Love color of deco! While washing stations color were black with head rest in white, towels were ordered in black and white as well and to make it more sophisticated John custom them with salon name, which was nicely printed on each towel. Btw... towels are thick and super absorbable. Apron were also custom printed and made from a high quality fabric. Bright pictures places on the walls giving nice color contrast. He is missing a refreshments station, but it's too early to judge, he opened less then 2 weeks ago. John is a very talented hairdresser! Doesn't matter if he is doing color, highlights, blow dry or extension, he does everything with perfection, paying attention to every detail. He has an awesome personally beside very professional mannerism. Oh, and the last thing, he would never refuse any appointments even if you are calling at 6pm on Sunday night, you would be always taken care of.
