If you want your wig to look totally fake, have way too much hair, not be fitted to your head, and then told as you're leaving not to "yell" at the owner (I wouldn't dream of yelling at shop owner) , then this is your place! I have a medical condition and have lost most of my hair. I came to Shuly because I had read that their pieces were very high quality and that the service was impeccable. I have a small head and they did not address the bad fit (for $2000 I think it needs to fit properly). I then had to take it to a wig maker three times (so far) to have about half of the hair removed (I looked like an anchorwoman on steroids about to join the circus if that makes any sense). They did not address any of my issues. I am not religious and I wanted my wig to look natural. That certainly did not happen here. read more

When I walked into Shuly's, the first thing I noticed was the private feel of my experience. I was in my own little area and didn't feel embarrassed, as I had worried about. I was impressed from the first wig the team tried on my head. From the baby hairs, to the detailed coloring, to having wigs that weren't too bulky, these wigs looked more like human hair than I'd ever seen. The Shuly team even spent time showing me different wig choices I didn't even know existed, from the topper to the "bandful," I had options that exceeded my expectations. I have purchased from so many different companies- and I can honestly say that Shuly Wigs is my absolutely favorite. For a few reasons- first of all, their customer service is the best. I love all of them. They are so easy to work with, and truly want their customers to be happy. They will work until you are happy with your piece-that is forsure! The quality of the hair is so beautiful and looks extremely natural. No one ever thinks I'm wearing a wig!!! They are also super lightweight and comfortable. Want to mention-I am blonde. WARNING!!! STAY AWAY! BAIT AND SWICH! LIARS! RIP OFF! I've never in my life have delt with such shady people. I went to there store for the fist time. I found a wig I liked I asked The price I was told the wig was $1,500 which was reasonable retail price for the wig. I didn't have the cash to buy It then so I asked them to hold on to it for me. When I came back to buy the wig they told me I would have to pay $2,500 for the same wig. When I asked about the price increase they didn't give me any explanation. Only that If I want it its $2,500.00 Shully also wanted me to sign a contract stating that any and every time I post a photo wearing the wig that I have to give the store photo credit that I bought the wig at Shullys since I'm a model. This is NOT the industry standard. If they gave me the wig free than Maybe you would get credit. I traveled 2 hours to there store to buy the wig I previously liked. I agreed to pay the marked up, overpriced $2,500.00 for the wig. When I got there they put a wig on my head and I instantly knew it was not the same wig. They tried telling me over and over it was the same wig. The wig they put on my head was a damaged wig that had been dyed several times and had test swatches all over the inside. I wasted my time coming all the way there for a wig that they didn't even have. They tried selling me a damaged wig trying to pass it off saying the wig was never dyed. Lying and saying it was Virgin hair. The scalp even had dye on it. Then I asked prices of other wigs because I wasted my time 3 hours (2 hours of travel). When I asked prices they couldn't give me a straight answer. They would hide the price list from me then go to the back to call Shully on the phone. Finally when they gave me the marked up prices the sales clerk ripped off the tag off the wig in front of me saying "I like to take off the tags because they get in the way when you try on the wig" then handed the wig to me and say this is 26inch wig. Then I instantly pick up the tag that she just ripped off the wig and it says 22 inch !!! Trying to steal from me and lie to me! I confronted her about it and she started laughing. I told her they were un ethical in how they run there business and they lied to me repeatedly. The whole situation felt very shady. They wasting my time traveling to there store for a wig that they didn't have then they tried selling me a damaged wig. Lie to me saying it was Virgin hair. Then Lie to me about length ripping off the tags and then being shady about the prices and hiding the price sheet from me and and giving me marked up prices Ive notified all the top stylist that I work with about my Horriable experience @ Shulys and shown them the Photos and footage that my friend took while I was there! read more

Ihave been wearing wigs for the last 10 years due to major thinning of my hair(i used to have thick flowing hair)so my situation is not ideal.I have tried wigs from salons and purchased on line as well and was never happy as the result was not what i had envisioned ,but 3 months ago i was recommended to go to nyc and try Shuly Wigs.The trip was worth it.The salon is stunning with a discreet and relaxing atmosphere I felt like I was in a salon on park ave.The staff were friendly and understanding they were extremely patient with me.
