I've been coming here for a long time to do acrylic nail art and pedicures and the ladies here always do a great job. They are efficient and will do their best to make your nail art inspo happen. They do great design work including 3D art, chrome, magnetic cateyes, and more. Location is convenient too right on Divis!
Loved my experience here! The atmosphere is glamorous Jenny was so kind and helped squeeze me in to an early appointment! She was so gentle with my manicure! Lam is an excellent artist omg! I'm so happy with my results I highly recommend! I will be a permanent customer here.
LAN IS THE BEST!!! She does the most incredible designs (really- anything you want), she works so quickly, and it's so easy to text and make an appointment. Recommend this whole salon. 10/10
This salon is the best! It's always very clean, the staff are careful and professional, and their attention to detail is incredible. My nail designs come out flawless every time, highly recommend!
Honestly, had high expectations for this place because a lot of my friends have recommended it to me. They told me that this place did great nail designs for a decent price and that they payed 65. I showed them a photo of the nails I wanted(not a complicated design) and they told me it would be 95 dollars. Then, the lady doing my nails asked me what length I wanted my acrylics and cut them too short before I even replied.... My friend also got her nails done and they asked her for 95, but she changed her design because the price was too high, and different from the past times she's been there. They told her that a French nail is 70. However, they told me my design was 95, and when I decided to change my design to French nail, they charged me 75. When I questioned why, she looked at the other lady working there and spoke in Vietnamese then changed the price to 70?! I feel like I got scammed. Mine is French nail as well, and my friend was charged 70 for French nail with a design whilst I got charged 75 or 95? I don't even know anymore....I feel like I got scammed and honestly don't feel respected as a customer.....
They were able to fit me in last minute which was great. But every-time she filed my nails with the spinning machine she would get so close to my cuticles that they would get hot. I would pull my hand away because it hurt and she would say to just relax my hand. I left the appointment with multiple cuticles bleeding. She tried to make it better by rubbing it in alcohol but that stung a lot. For the next 3 days hot water would burn. It has now been a week and 9 of my cuticles have scabbed. And does not look good. I was surprised by this because she was paying such close attention and taking her time. But my acrylics also came out super far. I have attached a photo of my cuticles a week after the appointment. Not worth $70.
I've been going to this place for over two years now. I never took pictures of my nails no matter how much I loved them, but look at them, JUST LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE!! How could I not take pictures and write a review? My girl LAN always did an amazing job. She never disappoints.
Love love love! Found my new go-to spot thanks to a friend of mine for referring. I had the pleasure of meeting Jenny and a handful of other fantastic ladies who helped fix my nails after going to another nail salon. It was barely 24hrs later that I walked in and needed major help redoing a dip gel set that had my real nails. I was able to be seated right away (popped in right after the opened) and explained what I was looking for. I walked out with a gorgeous chrome set that I had been looking for at my previous salon. Absolutely gorgeous! The length, shape, quality and color. I'm excited to go back again and again. It was also a great treat to see alllllll their new massage chairs. You can't go wrong with any of the ladies that are here so give them a try!
I would not recommend this place. My gel manicure lasted two days before chipping, and less than a week before lifting. As you can see, the entire gel application is lifting and coming off in one piece. Also, I was cut during my manicure. I've never been cut like that from rough filing. Unfortunately I cannot recommend you go here. It was 55 dollars excluding tip for this manicure that was quite faulty.
First timer there and I left there disappointed! Out of all the times I've had my nails & feet done, I have NEVER gotten cut and sliced up omg! I went in for a mani and pedi. The lady that did my manicure was filling so fast & hard that she filed down through to my skin which caused it to split open! That shit hurt so bad and it was stinging with all the damn alcohol she was putting, ugh! I was NOT happy (just literally screaming/crying in my head)! The lady that did my pedi was nice and all, took her time, but was taking waaaaaay too long. The cost came out to $95 are you fucking kidding me?!? That's way too much! A gel french manicure and a pedicure with white gel polish should've not cost that much, mind you my nails were very, very short like wtf! I am NEVER going back there EVER again!! Oh, plus I even tipped them both when I left! Ughhh
Worst experience of my life. First time coming here and they have no sterile equipment and the nail lady cut 2 of my fingers on both sides of my nail. She just kept going and applied skin glue that did nothing. Again no sterile techniques used and they were touching the tip of the glue bottle to my skin making contact with my blood They did not toss the bottle afterwards. They took an agonizingly long time to do my nails up until I told them I had a ferry to catch and then they sped up to a normal pace and blamed me rushing them was the reason they cut me and why it wasn't perfect. Afterwards my nails are uneven and not what I asked for. I will never be returning. Do not spend your time or money here.
This is the best nail place in San Francisco. The nails are so beautiful every time, the salon is super clean, and all the nail artists are super sweet, especially the owner Jenny. I've been coming here for five years and I haven't gone anywhere else since. This is by far my favorite place to go, and I will never stop going. 10/10!!

This is the best nail place in San Francisco. The nails are so beautiful every time, the salon is super clean, and all the nail artists are super sweet, especially the owner Jenny. I've been coming here for five years and I haven't gone anywhere else since. This is by far my favorite place to go, and I will never stop going. 10/10!! read more

This is my go-to place to get everything done - nails and waxing services. The staff is always so attentive and quick to understand exactly what I want. They execute it perfectly every single time and I especially love how they are detailed-oriented. My nails always comes out flawless with a clean line and even color. As for my eyebrows, Jenny is always quick to analyze my face shape and knows how to shape them perfectly to complement it. I highly recommend anyone to give this salon a try! read more

First time here after reading fellow Yelpers' reviews and am so glad I came! After a year without a manicure at a salon, this place did not disappoint at all. They had a lot of design options to choose from as well( the most I've ever seen!!) Lan made sure I was happy with whatever color and design that I decided. Unlike some other nail technicians I have visited, Lan was really patient with me as I was going through all the colors and designs I was presented with. I did a soft gel manicure with holographic glitter flakes on top. The entire process took a little less than one hour. My nails turned out beautiful and I will be returning soon :) read more

I moved to SF about six months ago and have been on the hunt for a nail tech since. My tech in Idaho was amazing and new exactly what I wanted. After looking at reviews for here, I decided I would give them a try. First off I showed a picture of the nail shape I wanted and she assured me she could do the shape and length. I had to have her redo them three times to get them all straight and even. Which ended up making them ten times shorter than I asked and every time I showed her where they were uneven or crooked, she would give me the worst attitude about it. Like girl, this is your job¿? Second, every color I asked to do she said she only had one bottle of color so I was only allowed to have one nail done that color and the rest had to be nude. Like what? You just say no because you aren't prepared for customers? I was extra shocked when I asked for a sparkly blue color and she told me it was only for gel nails so I said "Oh you don't have a blue polish you can put on and then glitter to just put over it?" She looked at me like I was dumb.. I know for a fact you can do that. I then asked her if she could do a simple line design on my nails and she told me they were too long to do?? My nail tech in Idaho could do any design on any size/shape of nail. I was honestly just at a loss for words. I even heard a lady in front of me asking her tech if they could do a second coat of color for her and they said "no it would mess up the nail" like what??? Eventually after asking for 5 different colors and getting told no to every one, I ended up paying $55 for a half done set. I say half done because I got the acrylics done, but left with no color or anything on them. /: Overall, I wouldn't reccomend just based off the demeaner of the nail techs and they're very "low" supply of polish. I say low in parentheses because their wall looked V E R Y full. Really I was just very unsatisfied over the whole situation. read more

It's been a week since I did my eyebrows waxing here and image speaks for itself. Real life is worst. The burn and the itch and the discomfort. Whatever chemicals they are using needs to be changed. I did waxing before too but mostly threading. This is too extreme. I went to the shop and the lady said I have sensitive skin. Yeah sensitive skin don't have week of aftermath like this. Saw dermatologist and said it will take few more weeks to heal cause to chemical burn. Not worth the price I paid and doctors apts. read more

I've been coming here for 2+ years and it was extremely evident that Jenny doesn't care about customer service, but rather just gouging her customers. Again, after two years of coming here and texting her, she still asks for my name and tells me she doesn't know it. Lan does amazing work, but unfortunately Jenny's inability to manage her business ruins this entirely. Most recently, Jenny tried to charge me $235 for a set of nails and pedicure. When I asked her to explain why, she couldn't. This is over $100 more than what I typically pay, and the nails requested weren't more elaborate than what I have done previously. She frequently would move around my appointments. I've attached a few images from our conversations. I'd recommend you avoid this place at all costs. read more

I LOVE Artistic Nails and Spa! I've been a client for over 5 years and by far Artistic Nails is consistently the best nail art and gel manicure I have had. The salon is very clean, services are high quality and I have loved getting to know Lan, Thuy, Jenny and the rest of the amazing team over the years. Lan is my go-to esthetician, she is incredibly talented and is so creative, fun and on trend with her nail art. She never rushes and always provides an incredible manicure experience. We always have fun picking out nail designs, colors and trying new things. We recently did rainbow nails for Pride and I absolutely love them. You can always count on Artistic Nails for a quality mani, pedi, etc. and I cannot recommend this salon enough. read more

I love Artistic Nails and have been going here for over a year to see my girl Lan. I always do a gel mani with design and they last three weeks MINIMUM with no chipping. I can even squeeze by to 4 sometimes before minor chipping happens. Prices range from 70-95 depending on the design, with tip on top. I've seen other reviews share that this seems expensive, but I don't want to pay a cheaper rate only for my nails to chip 1-2 weeks later. The premium is worth it for me. The ladies are sweet, and make sure to call ahead because they can get quite busy. read more

This place is it! I got my gel manicure pedicure from here and it was everything i had been looking for. I showed them a picture of these glittery ombre nails i wanted, and they turned out perfect! Not only that, they were super amazing with my cuticles too, which is honestly just as important. This place is going to be my regular spot from now on :) Thank you Artistic Nails & Spa! read more

I cannot recommend this salon for dip powder. I popped in between appointments at Mt Zion, and I thoroughly regret it. I've never had a manicure that was painful in the past, not sure what went wrong here but my fingers are still stinging the next day, it feels like there are little cuts all over. Even if the polish was perfect the pain isn't worth it to it to me right now, but the polish is far from perfect- it is on my cuticles and skin. My thumb's cuticle was bleeding over top of the manicure. They were very apologetic and sweet but I sincerely wish I had never gone in the first place. The residual stinging is a constant reminder of my manicure mistake. read more

I've done everything from gel acrylic, gel manicure and pedicure, eyebrows.. you name it, I've probably done it! I don't trust anyone else in SF with my nails for this affordable prices because when I have gone elsewhere, it never works out! HUGE fan! read more

Efficient/fast yet excellent service with attention to detail. My nail technician (Lin/Len - not sure how to spell her name) was friendly and ensured that I was satisfied. The cost ($70 for gel X) is the best I've come across, and overall I'm really pleased that I found this spot! read more
