Dodge 250 extended cab,paid $875 and within 5 Days i was stopped twice for having illegal tinted windows, the shop stated it was my problem and i had to pay for the removal. I could not see the road at night, and the road sign were extorted.The shop are the professionals, they should have known the laws and the product they are selling.A customer waiver or signed consent form cannot make an illegal window tint legal. A shop can still be held liable or face regulatory penalties depending on state statutes, because a private contract cannot override state vehicle safety codes. read more

This place is legit when it comes to great quality tint applied to your vehicle for either going for the aesthetics look or both when you need the tint medically applied to your vehicle to avoid the strong UV rays during the summer heat waves. Because who wants skin cancer? Pros: -The front receptionist is very knowledgeable about their products, spoke no "ummmz..." and "like" at each convo. Which made me confident on what I plan on purchasing my tint shade and film for my Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. -Friendly staff, from the front and to the rear of the office. -Kudos for the show and tell on their "light" device thing on what kind of film will be applied to my windows if I were to apply one of the following films; Terra Flex(Nano Carbon), Pana Flex(carbon ceramic), and Nano Flex (Premium Ceramic). **LIFE-TIME WARRANTY on their work, the driver needs to be present with the matching car that was worked on! Also, does not apply if your car was vandalized, broken into, car accident and need to reapply tint** Cons: -No Military/Veteran Discount. Such a bummer. But I ain't deducting a star for that. Lastly, if you haven't done some research. Here's a lil tip from yours truly. If you don't want to get any ticket violation because of a dark tint on your vehicle, please choose 70% for the front driver and passenger side, including the windshield. If you want anything lower than 70% tint, which means it'll have a darker tint, please see your optometry to get a tint waiver exemption so you won't get a ticket and be fined by your local police/CHP. This only applies to the front windows. Anything in the back and to the rear, you can have it as dark as you want, but keep in mind you "may" impede your ability to see at night when backing up or when you get cataracts as you age; you need to have a higher percentage of tint for clarity especially if you do a lot of driving at night. Note: -Terra Flex only blocks up to 67% heat reduction -Pana Flex only blocks up to 88% heat reduction -NanoFlex which I got 98% of my windows (excluding the front windshield) blocks up to 98% heat reduction. ^^^With any of those applied, it helps you notice the heat and cooling effect on the before and after difference in your tinted car when the sun is at its strongest beating at you when you have a long drive to work/home/road trip. 10/10- would visit again! This review is a bit late but better late than never, right? I'm pretty sure it was mid June when I had our new Tesla Model 3 tinted. My wife and I have well over 80 years combined and have never had the luxury of owning a new car, so to say the least, this was a huge purchase for us. We live in Grass Valley and had scheduled a tint and clear bra. To put it bluntly, they took our car on a Friday evening (because their guy starts before sunrise) and called us Saturday afternoon with some half-a$$ excuse. Then the owner informs me that my car is locked in their yard and he's in Reno for a few days. Yeah... BS excuses like that don't work for me... I don't judge what you do on your free time (until you make me) but when you're supposed to start before sunrise and I get a call at 4pm about your car troubles in Sac.... Um, in case you didn't look at your books, it's obvious I'm Asian so I can obviously do my maths, and guess what homeboy, you're 11 hours late! I'm normally a very loyal person but when the company that's done 3 of my cars in the past can't hold it together, it's time to move on. I came across Artistic Window Tinting in Marysville. While it's like 45 minutes away it was obviously the RIGHT choice. I knew this from the moment I called and spoke with the owner Dave. He was knowledgeable, polite, and straight forward. I was out the door in less than 10 minutes. I was greeted by Liz and informed that there's nothing on their road but a taqueria, but they spoke little to no English, which was a huge plus because that's usually an indicator that their food in incredible! I just wish I had my wife with me to translate. Seeing their shop, meeting Dave and Liz, and hearing about the taqueria assured me that I had made the right decision. My wife is from North Highlands and I grew up in San Jose in the 70s and 80s, and if there's one thing we both know, it's that when you want quality work done to your car you go to the family owned business that's far from the upper middle class parts of town. You know, where everything is beige and looks the same... They knocked my car out for an incredible price and we couldn't be happier. Dave told me how a couple family members had bought Teslas but didn't know much about them, so I took him on a little hot lap so he could feel what the performance can do. His response when I fed. It some juice? "Whoa, easy, I just ate ice cream!" haha! Sorry Dave. Moral of the story, if the place you're taking your car to can't spell the word "tunes" withoutrd "for", maybe it's time move on. They did an "okay" job on my window tint. They took the time to explain % and how dark it would be. They have a life time warranty and after 5 yrs there is no bubbling that has occurred. However, my biggest gripe is how it looks around the cut outs for the pop out windows (please see picture). The guy told me he would cut around the bracket. But i never imagined it would have looked the way it turned out. It was hot that day i felt like he rushed and didnt take the time to do a job that could have been so much better. One day i was walking through the parking lot at Yuba college and seen a truck exactly like mine...with the same issues for the tint on the pop out window. I asked if he, too, went to artistic window tint and that guy said yep. We both had the same issue of a rushed job and poor cut out. In the last 5 yrs ive been asked 4x by family where i got my tint done...and i always tell them artistic window tint...and i do not recommend the business. I wish i would have paid the extra $100 and had gone somewhere different just so i would have been happy with the result. read more
