I wouldn't even give them one star to be honest. It started off with me waiting on them to show up at my house for the mobile service to replace my windshield. No calls to let me know they're running late. I had to call them and we ended up rescheduling for the next day. So after my windshield is installed I take off the blue tape after a few days and the rubber and chrome piece that lines the bottom of the windshield is not up against where it should be and there are gobs of dried glue all under the rubber which is exposed. It was a hack job. They came back to fix it and did a half-ass job so I can hear air coming through where it's not flush. And I don't know what they did to the windshield wipers but they don't sit flush anymore. I could go on and on about what happened after this but the bottom line is they have excuses for the poor workmanship and are mistaken or knowingly lie about the condition of my car. The owner would not speak to me after several attempts to make contact and several trips to their shop and he does not stand by his guarantee. I have never written a bad review because I'd rather keep the bad opinions to myself. But this time I had to give my side of it and advise to never go to Dove's Auto Glass on Garden Hwy for windshield work. They're a joke. read more

Monday morning at 7am I found my back window busted open on my Dodge Ram 2500. I work in rice fields so this is my busy season. Having a broken window for more than a day is miserable with the dust and heat. Called Dove Auto at around 9am and they said they check around and see if they could get it fixed and they'd call me back. Got a call back at 10am to come in as soon as I could. I came in at 2pm and was out the door by 3pm! Not only did they fix my window for the great price of $250, they also fixed my switches to control my back windows which has been broken for months. My windshield broke about 2 months ago. Thanks rock trucks that spew pebbles all over the highway. Anyways Geico suggested Safelite and basically said if I went anywhere else I'd probably have to pay more than my deductible. I found a Saturday time slot and the night before Safelite called to cancel because they couldn't get the glass. Global supply shortage stuff. They said they would call me when it came in. I waited about a month and decided to reach out. There's no way to speak to anyone there! I wasn't about to drive over there to get a hold of someone so I reached out to Geico who wasn't really any help. Finally I decided to find an alternative. Dove got the glass very quickly and even dropped me off at work. Their work was good. I had an extremely bizarre experience with Dove Auto Glass. On a Monday my window was broken in at a gas station, I called a few places and received multiple quotes for around $300-340. Dove Auto Glass told me they could do mobile next day at $323 so I booked with them since it was next day, which was price comparable to two other shops that told me 3-5 days because the piece had to be ordered from Toyota. I called Dove Auto Glass three times to confirm they had the right piece as I live 30 minutes from Yuba City and did not want to waste their technicians time if they didn't have it. I spoke to two different people and both told me they had the right glass, I even sent pictures that showed the gasket/rubber lining and the VIN. They reassured me they had it, so I took the next day off. Both technicians were extremely kind and helpful but they did not have the right glass on account of it being an aftermarket piece without the gasket (what I had called to confirm the day before). They left and my window was unable to be fixed, and I had taken time off. Later in the day and received a call letting me know it would be 3-5 days since it would need to be ordered. I let them know I would be calling around just to confirm it was my best price since I'd need to wait either way and they ended up giving me $20 dollars off for the inconvenience and since I had received a quote for the same price elsewhere. I put down $100 deposit and was told 3-7 days. 5 business days later I called and asked for an update, in which they texted me an hour later and let me know it would now be a month and a half out or they could get me a used one, I was confused and only receiving half their texts (android to iPhone) and let them know I had put a deposit down on a new one and would prefer a supervisor call me to explain. A supervisor, Kenny, then texted me about my frustration- at this point I was just confused as I was only receiving half texts and missing info. I explained I was in a school and the texts weren't coming through and to call me. No one did, so I called them instead. A man, I'm unsure who, answered and immediately seemed frustrated with me. It was a frustrating situation so I get it, but I had done nothing to them, just asked questions as anyone would do when spending money on a repair. He ended up going on about how they were losing money for canceling the order (which I never asked them to do, they did it before confirming next steps with me), and how this situation was costing them time and money, and I was obviously just reaching out to get more money out of them. At this point I had paid them a $100 deposit, and been given $20 off for their mistake. I taken aback, and honestly really hurt and embarrassed by how the person was speaking to me. The plan had changed so many times, with no communication and they were accusing me of trying to get money out of them/money off which I did not ask for during this phone call AT ALL. I asked clarifying questions, how a used part worked, if it was the same as aftermarket (because I didn't know). This is a tad embarrassing but I ended up crying after the call, it was already a surprise expense and frustrating to have my window broken on top of a bad week, and now this guy was lecturing me on the phone. I even asked him why he was talking to me like that. I asked him if he could just refund my $100 because it was obvious we were not a great fit, which sucked because the technicians were awesome! He cut me off and hung up on me, then texted me the receipt of my refund. Overall a very strange experience, and honestly made me stress cry and call my husband after. I'm unsure if who I spoke to was the supervisor but I've worked in offices and HR management for a long time and was shocked by how frustrated he was at me and quick to insinuate I was out to "make them lose money". I ended up going somewhere in grass valley that people on Facebook recommended, and it was $225. read more

Driving down I-5 South in Sacramento, CA a few months ago my windshield was attack by something small but sounded like boulder size rock! After the installation, the installer noticed a small scratch ( I honestly could see it) and informed me that he will order a new windshield and return to install it. He did just that.
