I took my family here because we just moved to the area, and I received a bill for services that should have been covered through my dental insurance. The office overbuild us for services that were never discussed and refused to remove added charges. I would not recommend any family to go to this office unless they're looking to be overcharged, underserviced, and completely dissatisfied. I chose Dr Seaton because he performs a procdure called "6 Month Smiles' . I had a front tooth that was protruding and he was able to get it back into place within 8 months. I drove 90 miles roundtrip for the 8 month period so I could go to him for this procedure. I am thrilled with the results. They get my vote! I saw the same dentist for 20+ years in the Bay Area and I was reluctant to make the change to someone local. I did and was not happy. Another dentist here in town said that both my son and I needed a lot of work done. Mind you, I have never had dental issues so I was shocked. I spoke with a few other people who uses the other office and interestingly enough, they were all told they had cavities as well. I contacted Dr. Seaton's office to see if he could get me in for a 2nd opinion and what it would cost. They explained they don't charge for that sort of thing. Not only did he review the images I brought from the other office, he took his own xrays and gave me a quick exam at no charge. This was 3 years ago or so already and I have since then moved my husband and little guy over as well. Our insurance company is awful to work through but Seaton's office never gives me a hassle about billing questions, verification that I call them with. The only negative thing I can say is that he does definitely charge more than other dentists in town. With that said, he is not in network for us and we continue to see him, even if it costs us a bit more. read more

Terrible dentist. Before we had a procedure done we asked them if they can call our insurance to see if the procedure was approved and if so how much out of pocket we would be responsible for. The lady at the dentist said it was approved and we didn't have to pay out of pocket. Now they sent us a bill for over $200 dollars. So I had the worst tooth pain ever and had called around to see if I could be seen but every place had appointments far out. I hadn't seen a dentist in years so I had no idea what to expect. I came across Dr Seatons page and have them a call. Tricia answered and was the most pleasant person to talk to. I told her my symptoms and she was totally empathetic and was able to get me in that same day even though I was a new patient. The moment I walked in all my anxiety about the dentist were put at ease because of the wonderful staff. Dr Seaton is awesome and very attentive. You can tell he's there for the patient and not just here to take your money. I know a lot of people are embarrassed when they need to go to the dentist after not seeing one for so long but there is no judgement by the staff here, just friendly and knowledgeable staff that are there for you. Suffering from a horrific toothache I found Dr. Seaton on Yelp! I was so nervous walking in as I am not dentist friendly but boy walking out my whole opinion changed. What a pleasant surprise to find a dentist who actually takes his time to explain exactly what is going on in your mouth and what the best options are to correct the issues. Dr Seaton walked me through the entire procedure explaining every detail and not moving forward until I was comfortable. Candidly,Dr Seaton started off being a nice person. Gentle. However, over the last few years, after Trish came on as office manager, it's become hard to get accurate information. She has too much power, leaving patients hanging with infections. Because Dr. Seaton does not have other DDS on call when he's out of office, I and others have been left with massive infections. Some have lost teeth due to infections. If you try and call to speak with Dr. Seaton, you do not get a call back from him. Perhaps, it's by his choice, or he is not aware of messages from patients. To go for weeks, with an infection, without being able to see the dentist, is ridicules. Another patient was on a plan to have implants. Dr Seaton drew up a plan, right down to scanning their mouth for implants, to be done in his office. He pulled all their teeth. Made dentures. The patient never received the implants, as Dr. Seaton promised. Instead, without notice, the patient, after paying out the money, was sent to another oral surgeon. Seems, Dr. Seaton, did not execute the plan he drew up for the patient. To date, the patient has not received their implants. As a result, cannot chew properly. Another patient, who had been in his care for years, had an infection. Trish informed the patient, they were booked. This went on for weeks. The pain was going Into his ear. Still no appointment. He did receive antibiotics, but nothing more. Plus, the antibiotics were not the right ones given the severe infection. After a month, he had no choice but go to another dentist. He called, told Trish to send his former X-Rays (patient paid) to a local dentist. She did not do so. There seems to be a question whether Trish is in a position where Dr. Seaton has given her too much power. She over talks patients. Constantly interrupts patients. As some feel, she does not tell the truth to Dr. Seaton. Does not allow them to speak. Whether in the case of the patient as sent to another oral surgeon. That patient had a date on the books for Dr. Seaton to do the implants. It's only when the patient called about antibiotics they were to start the week before surgery, Trish informed them then, that the patient was going to another doctor. No one from Dr. Seaton's office ever called and informed them, there was a change in the plans. After being in Dr. Seasons chair for over a year and half, they found out only when calling about pre-op medicine, Dr. Seaton backed out of the implants. Leaving her stranded. She tried to contact Dr. Seaton, but only got Trish. She was never able to speak to Dr. Seaton about why he changed his mind, after pulling ALL her teeth. Promising her it will be so nice. Then leaves her without getting the plan fulfilled. Not the best place to go if you need a dentist who takes care of you when your in pain. Two people lost teeth, one is still in limbo. People have heard things from Dr. Seaton that was not the message. Because he was getting the message from Trish. One patient was treated poorly, because Dr. Seaton was told the patient called constantly, when in fact, the patient only called twice in two months. Personally,, Dr. Seaton needs to investigate his front end office. IF he is not aware of incidents I stated. He should do a review letter. IF he is aware, than NO I would not recommend him to anyone. Trish needs to go. She is rude, by over talking patients. She does not allow them to speak, ask questions, without cutting them off. She has on several visits given wrong insurance information on coverage. Has embellished patient messages or situations to Dr. Seaton. Also, as a patient, you fully understand insurance etc. However, you are made to feel like your did not understand her correctly, when in fact, you understood her clearly. But she implies your confused. NO. Only confusion I had, was how this office is able to operate unprofessionally. Example: I called for an update. She told me I was over due by 6 months. I had no idea of an appointment I should have had 6 months earlier. Trish than states I needed to come in. Sets it for a few weeks. Upon seeing Dr. Seaton, there was no missed appointment as Trish stated. She led Dr. Seaton to believe I was there because I demanded it. When in fact she told me I was 6 months passed due. Dr. Seaton was a bit defensive. He was told one thing, I was told something else. Neither was accurate. read more

The office lady was very rude way of saying that they don't except insurance which I have. Just because I don't have insurance that doesn't sute them, it is not okay to treat anybody that way of treat which they did. WOW! What a fantastic dentist office! The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. They always know my name and I usually wait less than 2 minutes. Dr. Seaton is very professional and gentle. He is big into technology which makes it easy for me to see and understand what is going on in my mouth when he shows me the problem on the flat panel TV that sits next to the dental chair. The dental chairs even double as massage chairs. How cool is that? Dr. Seaton is also great with kids. My two year old loves him and they always let my son choose a prize. I have seen two of their hygienists, Shawn and Tiffany, and they are both excellent. They don't rush through their job and make me feel as comfortable as possible. This is definitely a high-class office, one you would expect to see in LA (where I grew up). read more

I have had to undergo a long treatment and he has been there to fully explain everything that needs to be worked on. He always makes sure that I'm not in any pain and that I am comfortable.
