With no spare glasses in tow and not enough time to get a new pair shipped in, I would have to walk around with ridiculously lopsided frames. Robert examined my glasses and miraculously found an old pair of the same frame (this is a somewhat rare, German frame) in the back of the shop and took that temple and attached it to my glasses. He saved my sight and my trip. His quick thinking, resourcefulness, and customer service were just remarkable. This shop has "big city" style in terms of its frame selection but small town kindness and care. It is truly one of a kind. I can't wait to return to shop for new frames, and I hope Robert will be available to guide me through the excellent and wide selection of styles.

Start on 3rd floor. Otherwise, you will be walking around wandering. Signs not to clear but staff and other patients very helpful in finding. Check in was smooth and fast. Room was warm for me. Cold for others. Bring a blanket, I've seen thicker scarves. They will bring you a blanket if you ask. They provide a locker. Also bring a bag for clothing (not comfortable putting on locker floor). They will provide a number that will be on overhead monitor stating patient in surgery. DON'T pay attention to it. My husband left for a little while. When I called to ask where he was, monitor stated, I was in surgery, I wasn't still in hospital room. However, surgery went well, staff very nice and professional. Truth: I was there because of Dr. Marici. I've had 3 colonoscopies at NDH so I would rather go there.

I dropped them off on Thursday afternoon and was told they'd be ready in about a week, maybe sooner. I mentioned I would be out of town for a couple weeks and they assured me they'd be safe until I could come back to pick them up. The very next morning I got a call that they were ready to be picked up, as they had heard I was going to be on vacation and thought I'd like to have them for the trip. I did end up going back the next day for some socks I liked, and had a much more pleasant experience with the younger, curly-haired clerk. It's next to Minna and they do stock quality products, so I will likely be back.
