She has been through 2 knee breaks, 2 heart stints, and femur break with me. She was not the primary for those but she made her presence known with visits as my primary family doctor. I do not know the other two recommendors but one is from Austin and the other was from out of state and as far as I know Dr. Gonzalez practices in Laredo, Texas so I would not take those recommendations very highly. I would and have recommended her practice highly to friends and family. Dr. Gonzalez is the best and I have even changed my insurance when her contract with them was up. I have always been welcomed warmly in her office and the maximum wait I have experienced has been 1 hour, but in their defense, it was not an appointment.

They said they don't know what happened but at 4 is when they can see me. When I scheduled the appointment over the phone I advised what insurance I had and they told me they accepted that insurance. I arrive and the receptionist tells me they don't know if they accept my insurance and that I need to wait for the billing lady to arrive. 45 Min later they tell me the billing girl has still not arrived and don't know when she's going to get back from lunch. I waited for an hour for the billing lady, not knowing if I was going to get seen or if they accepted my insurance. Such a waste of time and not organized at all. Don't recommend. I really wanted a female PCP, but unfortunately this one is not it.

We use this clinic often because it's open on the weekends and late during the week. I was here two…read moreweeks ago with strep throat and i was given an antibiotic shot that worked like magic. This time is my daughter's turn as she has fever and body aches. Sometimes you see Dr. Benavidez, who is very good. We got Margarito today, the nurse practitioner and he is awesome and with exceptional bed side manners. Hats off to the staff for being attentive and professional. If you wake up sick make sure you get here as soon as they open because chances are there will be people waiting.

You are unable to speak to anyone at the clinic. It all goes through this answering service and they are the only ones that can speak to the healthcare team at the clinic. I attempted to contact them on two different occasions and both times, I literally held for over two hours just to find out that it was noon and they had stepped out to lunch. After holding for 2 hours!!!!! They promised they would get someone to call me back that same afternoon. Two weeks went by and not a single call from them. We felt like a hamster in a wheel...going absolutely no where. Don't be fooled. This is your typical company that is not out to care about your well being. They are all about the bottom line number and have no interest in your health or your wellness. A simple question to be asked for a 95 year old patient. They simply do not care! Then you show up and they leave you waiting for hours before they attend to you...95 year old patients should not be left hanging. It was bad, it was awful, it was intolerable.
