I came here to get my industrial pierced. Melissa was my piercer and the piercing is in a completely wrong and awkward spot that is not conducive to proper healing. I've have the piercing for a month and a half and now have to take it out to let it heal completely before trying again. I would not recommend coming here and it was definitely not worth the $150 I spent!

The associates that helped me today were so friendly and knowledgeable (wish I had gotten their names). I've been here a few times and they have a high-end clean place with the best jewelry selection in town. I love the new location as it is much more accessible for people like me with disabilities. Switched out my monroe today and couldn't be happier. Highly recommend and look forward to going back!

BettyAnn was wonderful! I've been wanting to get my nose pierced for over 9 years and finally was able to make that happen yesterday. I researched places throughout Middle Tennessee for weeks and was sold when I found Dahlia. She walks you through the entire process from choosing your jewelry (they have a GREAT selection!) to helping you take deeps breaths through the piercing process. The lady at the front (I'm sorry I don't remember your name!!) is also incredible. She is so sweet and helpful from first walking in to helping yocheck out! I love everything about this place. Go see them if you're wanting a beautiful piercing done by an amazing professional! Update: a year later I decided to go back and change out my tragus and rook piercing. They took their time helping me choose based on budget and style. They let me take my time again as I am so so so bad at making decisions but once it was time to change out the ring they were quick and easy. Thank you guys so much! Love my new jewelry already making plans to come get another one done.

    No complaints with my ears!

I was recommended Dahlia by a friend. The staff was extremely nice and very well-informed. I went to get my ear lobes re-pierced and my septum pierced as well. The owner was very calming and my nerves were low. However, my cartilage in my nose was pierced instead of my soft spot which made it incredibly painful. I had to go to another piercer to get it re-pierced. The jewelry was also very expensive and was not expecting it to be almost $200 with tip. Overall, if you have the money, go to Dahlia. The reason for only three stars is because I had to go somewhere else to get my septum re-pierced and the high prices

Just finished getting my seven year old daughters ears pierced here.....what a great experience! BettyAnn and her staff were genuinely some of the nicest and most informative humans that I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Great selection of jewelry, great location, great humans!

SO IMPRESSED! I was…read moreso impressed with the selection and quality of the jewelry here. The staff is professional and knew exactly what they were doing. Having a medical background and watching them care for your piercings is amazing. They know what they're doing and they do it well! They have tons of snack, snacks, and anything you might need while you're there on your visit. Such a cool vibe and I came out inspired by the staff.

I want to start by saying the shop itself is great. It's clean, welcoming, and the staff working…read morethe front desk were friendly and professional. Unfortunately, I can't say the same about my experience with the tattoo itself. I do not recommend Tim Peterson. A friend and I came in for matching tattoos. Her design ended up being slightly larger than mine, but they were otherwise very similar. The quality of our tattoos, however, looks like they were done by two completely different artists--even though Tim did both. Within 3-4 days, I noticed part of my tattoo already looked faded and unfinished. I waited nearly a month before reaching out because I wanted to give it time to heal. When I contacted Tim, I told him I loved the design but felt part of it looked incomplete. He did not dispute my concerns when I showed him a photo of how the tattoo looked after nearly a month of healing and simply told me to come back so he could fix it. The problem is that I live over 4.5 hours from Nashville. Coming back isn't as simple as making a quick trip--I have to take time off work, drive several hours, and pay for a hotel. Despite staying in contact and trying to plan multiple trips, Tim never once mentioned there was a six-month deadline for complimentary touch-ups. It wasn't until I reached out recently about pricing for a friend who wanted a tattoo during an upcoming girls' trip that he mentioned his hourly rate is now $200. I then asked whether I'd have to pay to have my original tattoo fixed. That's when he informed me that because it had been over six months, a small touch-up would cost $100. Had I been told from the beginning that there was a six-month limit, I would have done everything possible to make it back sooner. But that was never communicated. This wasn't a tattoo that faded from age or sun exposure--it looked unfinished from the start. I assumed an artist would stand behind work that needed correction due to the original application, regardless of when I was able to return. His response was: "I'm not sure if you were under the impression you had unlimited time for a touch up. But unfortunately we can't offer that. If you were unhappy with the tattoo from the beginning I'd hate to solidify the unliked design further for you, and you may want to seek out another artist that works for you." Instead of standing behind his work, he suggested I find another artist to fix a tattoo he acknowledged needed to be touched up. That response was incredibly disappointing. I have several tattoos, and this is the first time I've encountered an artist who wasn't willing to stand behind the quality of their work. My issue isn't simply the touch-up fee--it's the lack of communication about the policy and the unwillingness to take responsibility for a tattoo that appeared incomplete from the beginning. If you're looking for an artist who stands behind their work and clearly communicates expectations, then do not book an appointment with Tim. I'm sharing this so future clients can make an informed decision before trusting someone to permanently tattoo their body. In my experience, I was left with work that appeared incomplete from the beginning and was then expected to either accept it if I couldn't return within six months (and was never originally told this time frame) or pay an additional $100 to have the original work corrected.
