Super fun visit on a Saturday afternoon. We left Assembly food hall and popped over. Though it was packed (about 10 or so people inside leaves the small store feeling cramped) the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. After telling them what type of jewelry we were searching for, they pointed us in the right direction with their displays. They frequently checked in, even helping me determine sizing for my helix ring. We left with 5 pieces of jewelry and it all fit great. We paid about $120, getting $30 off for the number of pieces we purchased. They also have loyalty cards. We will definitely be back for more jewelry sets! read more

I recently got my ears double pierced at Studs, and it was a great experience! My piercer was super gentle and polite. She made me feel comfortable and was very professional. The place was also very clean and I could tell they maintain it well. The reason I only give 4 instead of 5 stars is, 1. It's very pricey and 2. the staff upfront weren't the most welcoming or friendly. The jewelry for the piercings is per piercing, so my jewelry alone was $200, then the piercings were $55. Pretty expensive. I also wish the staff upfront were a little more welcoming and friendly. They didn't seem to love their jobs and were a little condescending. Came here for the first time this past Sunday and had a wonderful experience. I forget my piercer's name but she was friendly and efficient. The staff up front were very helpful in assisting my indecisive self choose which piercing to get. I ended up going with a conch and I love it! I'll definitely be back. read more

Had a nice selection of jewelry and prices were quite reasonable. However, we never got our piercings because when we came (10 minutes early) for our appt, they told us they were running behind and it would be at least 30 minutes before they could take us. They gave us a pager and more than 30 minutes later when it didn't go off we went back to see how much longer it would be. They told us there were still 3 people before us. At this point it was already an hour after our appointment and we had dinner reservations so we had to cancel. I've had many piercings done before and it's a few minutes long process. Not sure how much they overbooked to not be able to honor our appointment time even an hour later. Visiting from out of state so guess we'll never know if they actually do a good job or not. read more

I had a great experience at Studs! They were super helpful in moving around appointment times so I could come in with two friends and we could all go together. My piercer, Karlyn, was friendly, thorough, professional, and the store was clean. The experience was quick and relatively painless. Did my tragus and conch piercing incorrectly. My conch now runs into my lobe piercings, which I had in at the appointment. Tragus has a huge bump, went to a different Nashville piercer and the labret put in at Studs, at time of piercing, was 2mm too short. This is essentially Claires for adults, adult pricing as well. Save your money, go to an educated piercer. read more

Went to get my helix pierced and Kayla was amazing! Helped me find just the right spot -- and then she was so quick and I barely felt it! And the front desk staff helped me pick out just the right stud that I know I'll be happy for the months and months I'll have it in while it heals. The space is super small but I really enjoyed my piercing experience here with Kayla. I got my flat helix pierced. Kayla was patient in letting look at and adjust where I wanted my piercing to be exactly. The piercing jewelry selection is pretty good, not outstanding, but I was happy with it. I chose a 14k gold crystal flower for mine. I also bought some fashion jewelry- I love how you can purchase as singles or pairs! Will definitely be back to get more jewelry. Supposedly all jewelry is nickel free. I'm not nickel allergic though butt friend is and she has been fine with their jewelry. Downside for me is the location since I'm local and it's obnoxious going to fifth and broad but for visitors I'm sure they are loving it. Thanks Studs! read more

Studs is super cute! It's very small but they do a good job using the space. You can come in to browse but you have to have an appointment to get a piercing. I got my second lobe done! It was a really easy, good experience. The girls were all so nice and supportive. The jewelry is beautiful as well. It's more pricey but it's worth it because the pieces are high quality and the piercing experience is high quality too! Definitely recommend coming here. the staff were rly nice and the whole piercing and experience was great but my piercings look terrible. i went to get my triples done and jocelyn was my piercer. my first 2 peircings face the same direction but the third one i just got done today goes a complete opposite direction. my first 2 peircings face out in front of me while my third faces in towards me. with my head slightly angled to the side you can see my pricing coming out the side of my ear. it is like this on both sides. read more

Don't waste your time or money on the novelty of this place for a so called "personalized" experience. Take your money to a tattoo shop where they are more experienced in what they do. My daughter and I have never had an issue with a piercing from a tattoo shop. We thought we'd try Studs for the "experience". First the piercer stated she didn't feel comfortable doing the piercings my daughter wanted. Then she told me that mine probably won't heal correctly. Wow! Should have walked out then. $300 later, thankfully I haven't had an issues but my daughter has black and purple bruised ears!! read more
