I don't even have kids that need daycare but it is really cool that they have a very nice, free daycare with all new equipment and you can see the kids through the glass. I'm an engineering students so donating is a good way to keep us financially afloat. Most centers treat everyone like trash that just want a couple bucks for their drug habit (most donors are just regular people). Anyway, the staff treats their customers with respect and they are very friendly. If you're new they pay $75, $50, $50, $75, and then $5 dollars more every time you donate, til the end of the month. If you're not new, it starts at $25, so your fifth donation you get $50 and so on. Even if you're not new, if you donate regularly, you get paid a lot more than all the other places monthly. It's by apt. only so don't just show up there.

After reading all the horrible reviews I'm not sure I'll come back. They have tons of customers and more pouring in constantly. I guess everyone needs $$ in this economy.

I've been sick for over a week and have been missing a ton of work. I know my body and what works and doesn't work. When you come in feeling miserable and then the doctor makes you feel even more miserable, you wonder what you are paying the doctor for. When I stood my ground and told him I would take the risks associated with the Z-Pak, he walked out like he was angry after he agreed to prescribe it. He wouldn't even look at me. It felt like he thought I had personally attacked him and he responded very immaturely. I won't ever go back to him or let my children go to him either. Someone send him to training for bedside manner skills please.

I like going to the ARC Blood Center because it has the most scheduling times available for…read moredonation. I go on a weekend early in the morning to donate about every 60 days. It is recommended to download the Red Cross app to do your appointment scheduling and fill out your questionnaire. Whole blood donation, takes less than an hour as long as you show up on time and have the Rapid Pass ready. They also have snacks after the donation and depending on the season, little goodies like gift cards or tshirts. Don't know your blood type? You can find out when you become a blood donor! You get your blood pressure and iron level checked at each visit so it's a great way to monitor your health. The review won't be complete without explaining why I donate blood. I am O+ and CMV negative so my donations go to newborns and preemies. I always have to close my eyes and look away when they prick my finger and insert needle but my why is what keeps me going back. The need for blood donations is constant. Once a blood donor, always a life saver! I encourage everyone who is eligible to donate, and those who can't donate to share and support.
