I would think twice before hiring this company. They make appointments and they don't show up but they continue to charge you. I was on a monthly contract. They wouldn't let me out of it even though they didn't show up for two months in a row and charged me for those two months. When the manager said that they were gonna give me asking where my refunds were. They still never gave it all back. There are plenty of Pest Control companies in the Lake Norman Charlotte area. The Aruza technicians themselves are fantastic, but the contracts that the salesmen get you to sign are predatory. I wasn't going to purchase the service initially when the salesmen were making the rounds in our neighborhood, but the gentleman dropped the monthly price and gave me a "friends and family discount". We're 15 months into an 18 month agreement and I've attempted to cancel twice, only to have an offshore customer support specialist tell me that I need to pay $300 in early cancellation fees if I choose to not continue the service. We're going to let our current agreement expire and pray that they don't try to pull anything underhanded during the renewal period. Buyer beware. Purchase some Orthene and glue traps yourself and avoid the trouble. read more

They ignored both of my no soliciting signs, rang the doorbell 3 times, pounded on the door, and rang the doorbell three more times. They woke up a daysleeper in the house, freaked out my skittish animals, and woke my 10 month old baby. Aruza is the absolute worst. First the send a guy out who refuses to spray inside. 2 weeks later they come back because the bug problem is not gone. For the next 3 days I start seeing palmetto bugs.... A new issue. I call and ask for a same day appointment they say no and the operator laughed about the palmetto bugs. I tell them I want to cancel my contract and to speak to manager. They tell me someone will call me back in 24 to 48 hours. In the meantime I call another company who asks did they spray the cracks and crevices and I said no. Only the doors and windows. And that is how the live palmetto bugs are getting in and the other bugs haven't stopped. 48 hours later nobody calls me back so I call again. I speak to the rudest person I've ever worked with in customer service and he tells me I should expect an increase in activity, yes that's supposedly true if they were dead bugs, but they're not. He says he'll send a manager out, the manager to whom my business wasn't important enough to call me back. I said no and he said I can pay $150 or they can send my account to collections. Was so rude would not agree to cancel without a fee even though Aruza is in breech of their contract by not solving my problem. He kept repeating $150 or i can send to collections. I paid the $150 to get out but I will NEVER ever work with them again and I would encourage everyone I know to look somewhere else. read more

I've been using them for a little while now. Customer service is not good. The only person I like to deal with is Harry. He is one of the technicians that comes to your house. A year or so ago I was having issues with ants. I had to wait for a week. They did not care at the office. That I had ants. The only reason I stayed with them was because of Harry except for the ants a couple of times. Overall, the service is good. But they do need to work on their customer service. read more

Signed up 5/22 with promo of $235 fee waived with one year contract and $65/session. Informed them we have dogs; they said they would let us know they arrived so we can keep dogs off the grass for 15-20 minutes, as recommended. They came out 5/24, parked in our drive and got to work. After they were done we received an email with the photo and name of the employee, confirmed work completed, and I saw the $65 charged to my card. 6/24/24: Was charged at 7:47am for service but never saw Aruza. Dogs have us up by 6am daily; we didn't see or hear Aruza and dogs didn't go ballistic with someone on our property. Even more so, we were in the process of getting ready to leave for work, so their claims they were here are false. I also didn't receive email confirmation with employees name and time he came out. I tried texting, chatting, and calling but could not reach anyone except the confusing text messages attached. We will be cancelling and letting everyone we know about the ripoff that will cost us an additional $235 for their not honoring their contract. (If you cancel within the first year, they charge you the waived $235 fee). Good first time experience; shows they can do it but choose not to. This is a scam and I would highly recommend NOT using Aruza. read more

Don't use these people. I have had a contract with them for 8 months for mosquitoes and mites outdoor service. They claim they have come out every quarter and sprayed the yard but, we never see them. My dog has had flees twice and ticks. 4 times. When I called to cancel service they said they would charge me $170 cancel fee when service would cost $160 how the hell do you justify this kind of business. The service is bad and they don't care about their customers just money. Don't do business with these people they are a rip off. read more

Only mosquito spray - no other bug chemicals- the house AND NOT under or around the large deck attached to the house so bugs hide there! I was here every time and was never the same tech. If call & ask for specific treatment area (fire ants) which their treatment reminder text says to do, the info never is passed along to tech doing the work. Why call? They come out during rain storm to tell me they can't treat and will be rescheduled. They rescheduled over a week later ?!!? Even tho didn't rain for next 7 days ? Have to deal with Bugs & fire ants for another week. One tech did report to the company that he DID treat during a rain storm but he reported he treated my garage- BUT I dont have one. Tech reported he treated my sidewalk - again i don't have one. So their techs lie. How can you trust that company. I signed up with a promotional rate of $50 because they were already spraying in my area.. that per the salesman at my door was supposed to be just a one time fee and one time spray. I kept getting charged $50 a month so I called to find out what was going on and they told me I would have to pay $200 to cancel because of the promotional fee and some contract that I never signed. We have very clear signs at the entrance to our neighborhood stating soliciting is prohibited and their salesman still knocked on nearly every door in the neighborhood disturbing people during work hours and dinner. When I said I did not want service from the man who showed up at my door, because we already have a company we're quite happy with, he said they would spray just that day for a one-time fee of fifty dollars because they were "in the area." I agreed, because my current company does not spray for mosquitos. He had me sign on his cell phone, which now I realize was because he did not want me to see the paperwork. He explained that I was paying for one day of service. Now I'm caught in a fifty dollars a month contract, and no services have been rendered. Not one person has showed up. The manager will "contact me" in two days. I'm not confident anything will go well there. They lied. Please stay away from this company. read more

Buyer Beware!!! Their salesmen are coming door-to-door selling you the moon right now. Be sure the moon is listed in your contract! I thought this was a reputable company, but have quickly found out that everything with them is a pack of lies. They sell you on the fact that they can do this, this, and this as part of their pest control. Then the tech comes out and you quickly find out that they do not do those particular things. They are not licensed to do this, there really are no chemicals to take care of that, etc. You report it, and a manager tells you that is correct, but then you talk to another person in the company and that is wrong...they do take care of those things. Nobody seems to know what the company actually does, or can do, and it soon becomes nothing but lies. It is a he said, she said game. Then when you have had enough and you want out of your contract due to deceptive sales tactics and failure to deliver promised services, they put you through to a woman who is so rude and talks all over you while you are talking. She is simply vile, and let's you know there is only one other person in that company more important than her, and he will not take calls. Hmmm...wonder why? She will cancel your contract, and she will charge your credit card your cancellation fee...mine happened to be $199. Otherwise, your account remains open and you continue with your monthly payments. So beware of this company. They are based on lies and deception. It is how they make their money. Do not let it be your money they get, and you get nothing in return, other than the tops of your windows wiped out with a feather broom, and a liquid sprayed on your grass up to 3 ft out from your house that has no chemical scent at all. Would give zero stars if I could. They said they clean off cobwebs which they do not. They said they treat the inside of the home monthly. They don't. They do come once a month to spray the yard but my son is covered in mosquito bites and last week there was a yellow jacket nest in my grass so it doesn't work. Trying to cancel the service and they are completely ignoring me and refusing to deal with me. I'm sure you can find a more honest and reliable place if you're looking for pest control. Number one I was nice and gave them a chance after they of course do all their sell tactics because I did need a new person. They came out and sprayed and within a short amount of time I had to spend $500 on flea medicine which I have not had to do in years and also we were getting eaten by mosquitoes. I told him I did not want their service anymore. But the worst part is I already had a no soliciting sign up. A guy called me from their company and we spoke and it was an email saying that I did not want their service and they were nice and let me out of any kind of contract. They also continued to bill me and charge my card (without permission) after I cancelled the termite protection service instead of retroactively terminating it back to the paid through date like ANY other insurance which is EXACTLY what it is in THEIR own words. They will not let you cancel without trying to charge you any and every fee they can think of. Absolutely horrible. had another service and Aruza sales rep begged for me to switch over and offered a promo deal with a fantastic price and said I would be the happiest person ever as their service and work is unmatched. He definitely needs to go back and do his homework cause their service is the worst thing I've ever seen. one of the biggest reason I switched was that they said with their treatment they do the lawn to "push bugs out and make sure they don't come near your home" they have done 1 lawn treatment since I've been with them and their other treatments are a waste of time. my house has more bugs in it now than ever before. "we guar our work and if theres an issue let us know and we'll come back and fix it and no extra charge". Bullshit! These guys are really customer focused. We live in wooded neighborhood and were having trouble with the awful Palmetto bugs. I've had other pest control companies but they never fixed the problem. After the first service the awful bugs were gone!! They said if I see any other between my scheduled service just call and they'd come right out.
